Nisbet Plantation Beach Club Hotel

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week at Nisbet Plantation. We have stayed at many of the finest properties throughout the Caribbean and this rates right up there with the best. Apparantly, an extensive renovation recently took place. Everything is spotless and well-appointed. Our room, a Jr. Suite, was spacious and overlooked the beach. If you like small exqisitely run hotels, then it's tough to beat this laid back beach plantation. Rooms, although a little dark, are lovely. No TV or radios to spoil the relaxed ambiance of this beautiful spot. Aside from the excellent restaurant at the hotel, there are several really outstanding ones around the island. We have been using Trip Advisor for the past few years in collaboration with our travel agent to get the most up-to-date information on where we are traveling. What a perfect way to relax! The beach is empty. The rooms are comfortable with large bathrooms. The service is excellent. All of the staff remembers your name and greets you every morning with a smile! The meals at the Great House are filling and unique every night.

Yes it was painful to leave such an idyllic spot. Arriving during the Manager's cocktail evening with the warm wind blowing in across the sea, shaking up the palm trees, we knew we had fallen in love with the place. It is a haven of peace and tranquility (apart from when the band played until 4am on Herbert's Beach during Culturama) with the most friendly and attentive staff, wonderful food, swathes of gorgeous empty beaches and the lashings of rum and Carib to enhance the mood. The weekend of a lifetime. We are ex-pat's originally from Chicago and Rhode Island, living on the island of St. Kitts. My fiance and I choose Nisbet Plantation on Nevis for it's romantic and enchanting setting. Our wedding coordinators, Leon Lescott, Leonora Didder and Steve Tyson were an amazing trio. Just returned from one full week at Nisbet. It was delightful. A beautiful, quiet place with a lovely staff and delicious food. While is not the most luxurious of the places we have stayed in the carribean it was by far the most charming and relaxing. We would certainly recommend it to anyone seeking a break from the daily rat race. You will love it!!!!

Just got back from a week at Nisbet and totally enjoyed the resort and the island. My review would be almost identical to the previous poster in fact they must have been there when we were. It is one of the most relaxing and quiet resorts we've stayed at. The staff was great, dining very good and waitstaff attentive and accomodations were nice. Air conditioner especially worked great even though windows were louvered. We slept almost the best we ever had on vacation. We spent a wonderful relaxing week in March 2005 at the Nisbeth Plantation Beach Club. The Club manages to maintain the charm of a small island resort in a very pretty beach front setting. The staff are outstanding and aim to please. In particular, Julene and Shari at the front desk, Steve the manager and Patterson, the dining manager, Roslyn and Violet the wait staff, made our visit one we will remember and are a primary reason we will go back to Nisbeth.
