Hotel is amazing - don't listen to the mediocre reviews
from davidbf78
The Four Seasons on Nevis is one of the most special hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at. The property is immaculate - from the landscaping, to the rooms, to the design of the lobby and common areas. The island is one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean, with some of the most welcoming people anywhere I've traveled. The folks reviewing the hotel's service poorly are nit-picking what was really a wonderful experience. The staff does everything they can to make you feel welcome and pampered. This might sound like a review...

The Four Seasons is a wonderful resort, however the food / beverage severice was pathetic
from FUNINSUN21
First, let me say that Nevis is a great place that is full very nice and polite people! The Four Seasons is a beautiful resort. The rooms and pool areas are wonderful. The spa should not be missed! Unfortunately this is where the compliments end. The food and beverage service was deplorable. There is simply no excuse for the lack of service at the restaurants and pool areas. Waiting 2 hours for fish tacos. Frozen drinks served an hour later completely melted. $22.00 for a hamburger that is served cold after an hour wait. We...

Had A Great Time
from eatdrinklaugh
We started out our Nevis vacation staying at the Nisbet Plantation and after the first night we got a ride to check out the Four Seasons and booked a five bedroom villa at the Four Seasons for the remainder of the trip. We didn't originally book the Four Seasons because we too were concerned about the "kinks" in a newly opened property. We had fantastic service throughout our stay. We ate at all of the restaurants at least once. The prices are not inexpensive at the FS nor were they at Nisbet. We went to the farmers market and...

Doesn't meet Four Seasons Standards
from Midwesternatheart
The hotel was closed for 2 years following Hurricane Omar and is now owned by banks. As a result, the character of the resort has deteriorated including particularly: (i) food quality at each restaurant, (ii) what used to be attentive and anticipatory service, (iii) condition of some of the rooms including air conditioning. Keys have several times been provided that were not the correct keys for the room. Each restaurant is playing loud, 70's an 80's music that made me think I was at a club! Are they pursuing hip-hopers for this...

Four Seasons Nevis is back!
from NYYankfan1234
i just read the 2 negative reviews about the reopening and I am shocked. My wife and I could not disagree more. We had a group of 17--8 adults and kids ranging from ages 6-21. EVERYONE loved it. While there were a few small kinks (yes the spa lost power for a few hours) the place is back and is as great as it was pre hurricane Omar. Management can not do enough for the guests. The refurbished rooms are beautiful, the staff was friendly and did anything we asked. Their motto was "certainly" when anyone asked for anything! While...

Went after they reopened and it has A LOT of kinks
from curlygirl864
We went to Four Seasons for a week in December 2010. We expected a lot having stayed at four seasons resorts all around the country. This one definitely disappointed. The public areas are beautiful, but the beach leaves a lot to be desired. The sand is grey, on the website the beach has white sand. The manager informed us these pictures were taken 2-3 years ago. We also had to wait around 45 minutes for water on the beach. They tried to rip us off several times, including trying to charge us $1000 for a beach cabana we never booked. The...

Total Disappointment
from FareTheeWell2
My family and I have wanted to stay at the Four Seasons Nevis for several years, so we were excited when we heard news of it reopening. However, our feelings quickly soured once we arrived at the hotel. The air conditioning in one of our rooms refused to work and it took several days and the head engineer to finally fix it. The balcony door to the same room also refused to work, resulting in another five days of engineers in and out of our room. On the second day of our stay, another mechanical malfunction resulted in the spa losing power....

Went before the closure
from ChessieTravels
One of our all time favorite family vacations was spent here. We rented one their villas for a week and it was amazing. The resort pools, spa, tennis courts, and the beach are all what you would expect from a Four Seasons resort. They take something as mundane as sitting by the pool to new heights. Before you are even seated a staff person wraps your lounge chair in 3-4 towels, asks if you'd like a drink, and then will spritz you with cool lemon scented Evian. All this by one of the most beautiful infinity pools and views in the Caribbean....

amazing wonderfl hotel
from myninetofive
I had the most wonderful trip to Nevis (actually 2008) apparently the hotel was taken down by a hurricane since then but is reopening this December and we are planning another trip there very soon. The only downside is it is a proper hotel (i.e lots and lots of people) BUT they have everything from tennis courts, a beautiful spa and great beaches. And the amazing Sunshine's bar just a walk up the beach is defo worth a visit too! the rooms are ok not stunning they felt like they could do with an upgrade but perhaps the post...
