Stayed here with my mum in September and loved every minute!
In the evening we saw the most fantastic shows, every night was different.
Both my mum and I thought that the Thomson entertainer Sophia, was the most amazing performer we have ever seen.
The food was fantastic the buffet in the hotel was lovely and really varied.
The room in which we stayed was kept very clean, if not a little bland.
Definitely be booking for next year!

The hotel was very nice when we arrived there. Which was 5am in the morning?
The food was very good and had a good range of food to choose from.
The only problem we had was some of the plates had big chips in them. The wine glass hand not been clean properly as there was still orange juice in the glass, this had happened several times to us and other guests which where there. Also some of the cutlery was not clean was well.
The staff where friendly and help full.
The room which we had we very nice and big and of the looks of thing most rooms had a balconies.
There was no do not disturb signs for the doors and the cleaning staff just knocked and came in.
The beach was about a 5 min walk from the hotel but there was a bus/tractor which took you there. The hire of the sun bed was 3 euros and if you wanted a umbrella that was 5 euros but that was for the day.
We where told when we left the hotel on the following week we would be able to use a room to have a shower and get changed in as our flight was at 4am in the morning but hotel staff would not give any one a room.
on 4 night from about 12am to 2am we where woken up by kids running and screaming down the hall. and you could here the rooms either side of you banging there doors.
There is loads more a could say but will leave it there.

Just got back from a wonderful hotel. The food was great. Lots of different meals to choose from. We were full from the fried breakfasts, croissants and coffees which we were allowed as much as we liked.
Evening meals were just as good and we have not been to such a great hotel. We didn’t want to leave. We were entertained each evening with shows like starlight express and Mamma Mia and many more.
The reps were out from morning till night entertaining the kids by the very clean pools.
There were 2 baby pools and 2 main pools. Also a children’s play area.
The rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We went on the plana buses to nearby Pineda and Cambrills. The cost was only 1 euro 30, which was about 70p each way.
We had such a lovely holiday which flew by so quickly and we would definitely return again one day.

I went to the Calypso Hotel in July 2005 with my family. We didn’t know were we were going at first as we had a chance of 3 hotels that the travel agent chose. We were very pleased with her choice. The entertainment was excellent every night, and the food was great. We never ate out at night as the food from the hotel was good enough. The pools were also very clean and good sized. It was great for the kids as there was always something for them to do. I also thought it was good how the bar down by the pool done happy hour! The area the hotel was situated in was very nice, it wasn’t a noisy area. Though if you wanted to get to clubs, bars, etc they were only a short walk away. Can I add that KISS was a good nightclub along with Snoopys. The beach was only down the road aswell. The Salou Ibrox bar was great, some of my family spent alot of the holiday there. I hope I can come back next year as I found the holiday the best ever!

Booked the Calypso Hotel through a recommendation by a friend and it was absolutely brilliant, great hotel, foods good and the entertainment is top notch.
Kids Club was great lots for them to do and the entertainers were brilliant. Also the hotels Club Med reps were brill with new shows on every night always entertained. Well worth it go for it, oh and keep up the good work guys.

Fantastic hotel lots to do for everyone. Very clean and tidy everywhere, and pool area kept very clean.
Food very nice good choice also for kids. Went with 3 adults and 3 kids and they really enjoyed it. The shows were good and the very talented entertainment team made an effort asking you to join in the different activities. They also came to talk to you in the restaurant to give you details on what the show would be that night to get holidaymakers interest.
Great games room and Internet rooms, special separate disco for teenagers that finished at midnight and another games room attached to it. Absolutely loads to do films etc and even quizzes around the pool with Alex a Thomson’s rep . If you like to be entertained then this is the hotel for you. Only downside was the rooms weren’t that spacious with 3 beds in them.
Nice area well situated for pubs etc. Not bad bar and food prices either. Would love to go back.

We had a great time rooms clean and always something to do you don’t even have to leave hotel all day because there that much going on entertainment for everyone at night from 8 till 12 at night then you can go have a wee sing song in garden bar till 2 in morning no need the get up early for sun beds just to get a really good breakfast that keeps you going till dinner at 6.30 meals are tremendous make sure you are really hungry loads to choose from even kids corner, entertainers there are the best and you see then all day every day asking to play something, they are great with the children, Barcelona is a must see its quite expensive but a great day out , we will be back next year and we hope it will be just as great as the last time we visited as it will we hope, make sure take plenty of money because loads to do and why don’t want to miss out

A fantastic two weeks holiday. An absolutely fabulous hotel, everywhere clean, rooms cleaned daily. Food choice was superb and a great choice available also for the children’s menu. Entertainment out of this world both day and night - the shows at night are a must! Lots for children to do including Kids club. Thomson Reps and the Animation team were absolutely great. Four great swimming pools with lifeguards at hand. Shops and pubs really close by. Definitely be back next year.

Loved our two weeks stay at this Resort and we will return next year.
The two swimming pools were great with everyday activities for the Kids and for the Adults. Entertainment at Night was amazing and the Garden Bar was Brill.
Enjoyed the food that was catered for in the Restaurant that overlooks the pool. excellent.

the Thomson Kids Club was very good and the staff are very friendly and funny.
