Me and my boyfriend got back yesterday, and it was one of the nicest resorts I have stayed in. The food was great, and neither of us got upset stomachs at all, and I ate pretty much everything-meat, rice, veg and fruit. The people who work there are so friendly, and its worth getting to know them as they do repay you, and bring you drinks over and make you feel welcome etc. As we went in Jan the resort was quite quiet, i must add though that it is massive, so I can imagine that it would get packed in the summer and quite lively.
The brochure mentions that the resort isn’t really for people with walking disabilities, this is really true, there are loads of steps and as the resort is so big it can take quite a long time to get from one end to the other.
Agadir in itself isn’t the most picturesque of places, and the locals can be quite pushy when trying to get you to buy things, but as long as you remember to say 'no' firmly its not too much of a deal. I would recommend a visit to the Souk, warning-I wouldn't take kids and its not a 'nice' day out, but it is a view of real morocco and it you have good haggling skills then you can get yourself a bargain.
Another place I would recommend to visit is the mirage casino, just opposite the tamlet entrance of the hotel, we had a great night out there, its nothing like in England you can help each other and when we were there the dealer gave us some tips which helped us come out £40 better of!!! Finally, Maxwells just outside the entrance is a good bar to go to, the foods nice and the beers £1, what more can you ask for??
Overall, I'd say this hotel is great to go to. Remember that you aren't in england, so you're not going to have all the creature comforts and pie and chips, and you'll have a great time.
