Dont worry about what you have read on here and other sites. Everyone is blowing the whole thing out of proportion as usual. There are professional complainers that know they can get compensation etc by these sort of reviews.
The holiday village concept far outweighs the couple of problems in resort and everything is now working and running smoothly.
If you have time to complain about not getting diet drinks (as someone did!) then you have far too much time on your hands and there cant have been much else to complain about!!

Don't bother going here the holdaiy is not finished!! so there is constant building work going on :(
There are people going into the pools and coming out blue with the paint, the rooms are dirty, it is not 24 hrs all inclusive as advertised, the wildlife is dangrous, the staff are unhelpful.
This is by far the worst holiday we have ever had......we complained unpon our return and told sorry but not our problem by First Choice...if we wanted to pursue the matter get a lawyer!!
Keep your money!

Wow! This is the most amazing holiday I have been on after going in August last year!
The rooms are clean and tidy and are cleaned daily by a maid.
The food is excellent very tasty and so are the deserts there are also different restaurants you can go to in the hotel to try out different foods. There is the Mexican and Italian.
The beach and sea is lovely and is joined on to the hotel, the pool is lovely and warm and with a swim up bar it is great! Very refreshing. There are lots of different cocktails and drinks my favourite was the Miami vice!
The entertainment is great shows every night and water sports and beach sports through out the day!
I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting a great tan!

After reading some of the reviews online I had to say I was quite apprehensive about going to the Caribbean village, but I have to say that most of those reviews do not give a true representation of the resort.
Me and my boyfriend got back yesterday, and it was one of the nicest resorts I have stayed in. The food was great, and neither of us got upset stomachs at all, and I ate pretty much everything-meat, rice, veg and fruit. The people who work there are so friendly, and its worth getting to know them as they do repay you, and bring you drinks over and make you feel welcome etc. As we went in Jan the resort was quite quiet, i must add though that it is massive, so I can imagine that it would get packed in the summer and quite lively.
The brochure mentions that the resort isn’t really for people with walking disabilities, this is really true, there are loads of steps and as the resort is so big it can take quite a long time to get from one end to the other.
Agadir in itself isn’t the most picturesque of places, and the locals can be quite pushy when trying to get you to buy things, but as long as you remember to say 'no' firmly its not too much of a deal. I would recommend a visit to the Souk, warning-I wouldn't take kids and its not a 'nice' day out, but it is a view of real morocco and it you have good haggling skills then you can get yourself a bargain.
Another place I would recommend to visit is the mirage casino, just opposite the tamlet entrance of the hotel, we had a great night out there, its nothing like in England you can help each other and when we were there the dealer gave us some tips which helped us come out £40 better of!!! Finally, Maxwells just outside the entrance is a good bar to go to, the foods nice and the beers £1, what more can you ask for??
Overall, I'd say this hotel is great to go to. Remember that you aren't in england, so you're not going to have all the creature comforts and pie and chips, and you'll have a great time.

I was here first week it opened. All was NOT up and running. vip suites not finished, adult only pool closed, splash pool still being built, splash pool bar not open, kids club in a small make do room with no equipment as new one still having toilets fitted, meditteranean restaurant not open, high ropes not open.
All this aside I think it will be lovely when finished, and the management get their act together.
Food disappointing but we didnt go hungry.
beach and sea are lovely.
I found rooms to be clean.
I didnt find wildlife a problem. The week we were there, there were 2 reported sightings of scorpions and 1 of a very large spider but I didnt see them.
The big lizards are facinating to watch and they are scared of people.
Hope this clears a few things up.
