We found our cottage while trawling the web for accommodation for our family holiday (for 7). 17 Pendra Loweth is a privately owned well cared for cottage that we're happy to recommend. This website was our link: http://www.holidaylets.net/properties/10578

this was the second time we have stayed at pendra loweth and we've booked to go again in 2008. the cottages are beautiful and the surroundings so pretty and peaceful. don't let the fact that it is a holiday village put you off, it's not a typical holiday village at all; it feels very private and select. the staff are very friendly and efficient, the cottages are extremely well equipped and very clean. i'd be quite happy to go again and again as it is also an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful county of cornwall.

We stayed last April in one of the bungalows at Pendra Loweth, we packed everything bar the kitchen sink, learning from experience from having stayed in other self catering accomodation in England.
We need not have worried, there was everything we could possibly need for a fantastic holiday.
The accomodation was clean, very homely and perfect. There was a bookcase full of books, dvd films and board games. There was a washer / dryer, airer, ironing board and iron.
We were allowed to take our beloved dog also and the grounds were absolutely beautiful and sufficient alone for a long walk.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the easy booking made everything very smooth.
Because it was our best holiday ever, we shall be returning at half term this Feb 2008. We have requested the same accomodation and shall probably just take the clothes we travel in and a small bag of spares.... how hassle free is that!
Thanks to all at Pendra Loweth and see you soon!

We had a fantastic holiday last year and as a result, we've already booked up for another week this year.
The property was perfect. Accommodation was clean and tidy, fixtures and fittings were modern and the landscaped gardens were beautiful.
We loved walking down to the beach with our two girls (took about 30 mins but worth it). Our oldest daughter had great fun looking for crabs and fish in the rock pools, and although we went out of season, the beach side snack bar was opened to serve hot food and snacks. With a central location, Pendra Loweth is a perfect holiday spot to enjoy the rest of Cornwall.
The only thing that I can think of that would have made our holiday even better, was the fact that the gym/plunge pool and bar were closed for repairs and due to it being 'out of season'. We were told about this before hand but to have use of those facilities even in March would have been great!
Really looking forward to our trip back there this year!

It was our first holiday to Cornwall, and we enjoyed every day there.
We booked the cottage from the web site and we where not disappointed, just great a home from home.
Every thing you needed to make you holiday great, very well maintained and clean.
We are looking to book again this year, and the price is good value .
What a lovely place we should keep it a secret.
In the town there are many excellent bars and restaurants which welcome families and with good menu's for the kids.
The beaches are very clean and safe for your little one's - we had the most perfect time my kids wanted to move there.

The cottage was absolutely as described on their website Everything was there that you could want for a comfortable self-catering holiday. On-site is an excellent cafe and bar, serving good value food. Also, although we did not use them, there are a small pool and a gym. The site is kept beautifully - well landscaped and clean - and is very peaceful.
The Falmouth area is just great for things to see and do. We visited some of the local National Trust gardens, went on a tour of RNAS Culdrose, walked on the beaches, watched the boating activity on the River Fal and found time to look at the interesting shops in Falmouth.
We would certainly recommend this cottage, the site and the location for a great Cornish holiday.

Excellent accommodation, very clean and everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The perfect location for peace and quite yet 5 minutes from Falmouth. This Holiday village has restored my faith in British holidays, so much so that we have re-booked.
5 minutes by car anyway and you are either at a beach or one of the many beautiful gardens. My children where never at a loss to do something, and the beaches where exceptional for there cleanness and amenities.

Pendra Loweth is a holiday village situated on the outskirts of Falmouth in South Cornwall. It proved to be an excellent base for exploring the countryside and coast.
In fact it proved to be an excellent base, full stop. The booking was made very simple via their easy to use web site, and when we arrived, we found that the images from the net were an accurate reflection of the accommodation. The houses were new and beautifully furnished, with many extras and thoughtful touches, such as a cupboard full of games for rainy mornings.
On site there was also a gym, steam room and plunge pool.
It certainly helped us enjoy our week’s break in Cornwall.
