hey guys be back at nikos in june if you wanna relax get ure **** there try visit appolo and say hi to kieth.a place you cant get away from very welcome and so much fun so chilling cant wait to get back there.mythos here we come lol

Had a week in Nikos Studios at the beginning of September and was concerned when I read some of the reviews and when we arrived and were put into Block 2 and I thought oh no...................but on going into the apartment, yes it was quite small but had everything you needed. It was very clean and the maid came in every day and the sheets and towels were changed twice during the week. We only went to the pool and bar once and that was on our day of arrival and the food was lovely - the rest of the week we spent on the beach and walked into town at night for dinner. Fabulous resort with lots of restaurants and lovely clean beach - would definately stay there again.

These apartments are in a fantastic location, close to the beach and resort centre but far enough out to be rural and peaceful.
Nikos and his family couldn't do enough to please. Nikos and Theo were very amusing and entertaining. Ask Nikos to show you the bottle trick!!
The food available from the pool bar was fabulous and really good value. As veggies we were worried that we might struggle to find a suitable menu but Maria and Nikos' mum were more than happy to provide a veggie breakfast and vegetarian pizza, which was delicious, as well as the items on the menu.
Karaoke night and quiz night were entertaining and gave everyone a chance to get to know each other. Even better was the Greek night, with music and dancing by Nikos and his family.
Overall this was a fantastic holiday. Would we go back? ABSOLUTELY! And we fully intend to. Woo hoo for Nikos and his apartments!

Just returned from a week at the Nikos. We wanted a week of P&Q and R&R and got exactly what we wanted. We were in Block 2 which suited us perfectly, much quieter and the short walk to the pool was not a problem at all. The room was a reasonable size for a Greek studio, spotlessly clean (and cleaned every day) and well equipped for a light lunch/breakfast. Yes, the bathroom gets wet when you use the shower but not a new experience and you get used to not taking clothes in the room, and moving the loo roll to the top of the cupboard to keep it dry! The pool was great, with a good friendly atmosphere, and their Greek night was better than some others we have been to. Unfortunately our aircon broke down on a Saturday - just as the temperature reached 40+. Niko did manage to get it checked on the Sunday, but parts were needed, but eventually the whole unit had to be replaced after 3 days. Niko did give us a partial refund, but then accused my husband of tampering with the door sensors which had caused the old aircon unit to burn out. ABSOLUTELY UNTRUE!! Unfortunately this was on our last day and we really didn't want to ruin what was left of our holiday with an unpleasant argument or complaint to Thomas Cook rep. In view of this, we would probably not stay at the Nikos again. However, we would certainly go back to Alykes.

Me and my boyfriend have just got back from nikos studios and we had a great time, niko and his family were lovely and always happy to help you. We was in the anex part, Its not far away from the main bit at all its also newer to the main hotel and bigger rooms too.The hotel is about 10 minutes away from the strip were we went every day for breakfast lunch and dinner and didnt have one bad meal down there. The beach is about 5 minutes away which is lovely too, you can get 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for 5 euros all day. We did some trips while we was there through thomas cook, Shipweck and turtle spoting were great and the lagana trip was amazing! We did the greek night through thomas cook which was rubbish and alot of money. Nikos greek night is great and its only 10 euros! Me and my boyfriend had a great time there i couldnt fault the hotel or alykes, i always said i would never do the same place twice but i would deffo go back!!!

We have just returned from a fantastic 2 week stay at Nikos. Having read the reviews before we went we were unsure of what to expect and when the coach was doing its drop offs we were a little concerned at what we were seeing around the area. How wrong we were, it was a lovely resort and Nikos and his family made you feel really welcome. We were very lucky and had a room above the bar which overlooked the pool. Other members of our family were put in the other block which was a lot cooler so they didn’t need air conditioning. Greek night was brilliant and the food was fantastic and the dancing by Nikos family was brilliant, well worth the cost of 10 euro’s each. The pool is very deep so if you have young children be aware and if you want a holiday that is very quiet then it is not the place for you as when we were there all the children got on great and had a fantastic time together, lots of laughing and lots of splashing in the pool. Our only moan was the shower, the shower head is not mounted and at the cost of a euro or two then a better shower could be had by all. Rooms all very clean and the maids work very hard.

just got back from our holiday .read all the reviews befor we went .all the good ones were how it was .was exspecting alot worse .we stayed in appartments in front of the pool area dont think we would have liked it so much if we had got block 2.we named itcell block h.and a couple of familys did ask to be moved while we were there .so if booking ask for the block next to the pool,room was basic but we realy enjoyed our stay there .and people were very friendly .we would def go there again,all meals were good .we hired a quad and toured the island .20 euros a day all in .we are in our 50s and would def go back again .

Nikos apartments are clean but basic,the shower toilet and hand basin are in a wet room and although there is a shower tray there is no shower curtain therefore the whole room gets wet,which can be slippery and dangerous.The pool is deep and not suitable for young children.There are no play areas nearby for young children although there is a play park just outside the small town of Alykes.All the tavernas in the area are all good and have reasonable prices we never had a bad meal once and we tried several taverns,Highly recommend the village wine (both red/white) cheap and tasty.For a good night out take a trip on the road train to Syroses tavern he does a brilliant Greek night with both dancer's and musicians with great food and wine included in the price.The local beach is sandy and safe for children and stays shallow for a fair way out.There are no nightclubs in Alykes which appeals to us but maybe not to young couples etc.Beware of your booking as if you have an early home flight you will have to pay extra to keep your room the night before your flight home,although we had paid for seven nights we would of had to vacate our room at lunchtime the Sunday before our early Monday morning flight(17hrs without a room).Dont really understand the logic behind the tour operators doing it like this (the tour rep couldnt give a satisfactory answer either).Be assured though Alykes is a lovely place to go for a get away from it all holiday and would go back to Nikos Apartments.

just come back from 3 weeks at nikos we met some great people thanks to colin and sue for giving a lift every where and nikos and family they was all brilliant food was great rooms cleaned maid was great very happy people would go back again give 10 /10 brilliant had a great time pool very clean nicko would do anyting to help you

We enjoyed our stay at Nikos. The rooms are basic but clean. I did not like the shower though. It is a hand held shower and the bathroom gets very wet when you use it.
The pool is amazing!! I will go there just for the pool!
The food from the bar is not expensive and is nice. Nikos and Theo are very friendly and looked after everyone very well. There is a pool table and internet available to use. The Greek Night and Karaoke was fun.
The cleaning lady was very friendly and cleaned our room every day.
It was a five minute walk to the nearest supermarket and beach. It is a bit of a walk into town. There is a bigger supermarket and cash point there.
I must admit I am disappointed with Zante itself, there is not that much to do and see. It did not feel very Greek and reminded me of Bulgaria. It did not have the same atmosphere and culture as Rhodes did.We did a boat trip around the island. It was a very long day and the food and drinks are very expensive on the boat.
Mosquito’s did manage to have a feast on me. There are products available in the supermarket, however it is expensive I recommend you take your own.
I feel very relaxed and well rested after my holiday.
