Contrary to what the First Choice agent in Torquay told us and insisted that she was right, there are no facilities at the Atalaya apartments. There is no 24 hr reception, there is no bar, no restaurant and in fact, the only thing there is a swimming pool, controlled by a... more

The Atalaya apartments were very clean, with great views. Plumbing was a bit dodgy though! The apartments were well equipped for self catering, with a modern microwave and 2 electric rings. The swimming pool was clean and there were plenty of sun-beds. There were a lot of... more

The apartment was filthy, the patio doors lock was broken and two of the lights in the apartment didn’t work. When we tried to place a request to get these things seen to none of the staff spoke English and our holiday rep kept fobbing us off. It was day 4 before the... more
