Me and my mother stayed at the Anais Bay Hotel for 2 weeks.
We cannot say enough about this hotel. The staff are very friendly,
the rooms were cleaned and we had fresh towels every day, the food and
drinks served are good and the breakfast is brilliant.
Although quite small, this hotel offers a relaxed, friendly 'home from home'
atmosphere with a pleasant pool area. Just what we were looking for!.
We will definately be visiting them again and probably taking as many
family members as we can with us!!

Anais Bay is situated on the outskirts of Protaras, a stones throw away from a small but very pleasant beach with plenty of water sports and a short walk from shops and bars. A short bus ride will take into the center of Protaras with more night life and more shops.
The hotel’s ground floor was very much 'open plan' which for me added to its appeal giving a more relaxed, comfortable and homely atmosphere. Breakfasts were wonderful with a choice of fruits, yogurts, cereals and/or full English. The evening meal, although being from a restricted menu was still very good and very varied during our stay.
The staff were very friendly throughout the duration of the holiday and very committed with a high level of professionalism.
Tip 1 - Try the scuba diving,
Tip 2 - Only got to the Windmill Bar if you are an extrovert,
Tip 3 - Try the 'Mese',
Tip 4 - Go for 2 weeks and go sightseeing especially the Troodos Mountains.

My wife & have been going to the Anais Bay twice a year now for the past eight years now & we can't fault the hotel. All of the staff are very friendly & helpful. Clean bedding every day.
Good food & a very friendly atmosphere. We will keep returning to this home from home with out the rain.
You enjoy a barbecue one night a week, plus live entertainment. The pool is a nice size one & it is never too crowded.
Food & drink on tap if you want it.
Just great!

What can I say BUT fantastic holiday in Cyprus!!! Would recommend Anais Bay to anyone.
Hotel staff were very pleasant (Marian on the front desk was great). The two brothers were also very good. The barman, is the slowest in the world but good enough.
We got married there using Olympic. The wedding advisor was great very very good.
On our last night we found a bottle of champagne in our room from the brothers.
The pool area was great (Anyone going take some uptodate music for them to upload to the pc they use for the music around the bar/pool).
We ate a few times in the hotel and it was good. Priced the same as the surrounding bars.
If you get chance try the mexican and the steak house is also good.
All in all a fantastic holiday. Will definitely be going back.

We stayed at the Anais Bay for 4 nights whilst on an inspection trip with MRI properties and the hotel was lovely. A lovely looking hotel not at all like your usual high rise building. It's very near the beach and only a short walk from bars and restaurants. The bus will take you to the centre of Protaras 1 stop for £1 but we found that the local bars were just as good. The staff and the maids are really friendly and the pool is lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel and Cyprus it's a beautiful country we proved it we bought a house!!!

Family run hotel, very friendly. You get that personal touch that you will not receive in the big, faceless hotel chains, even 4 and 5 stars.
The breakfast is cooked to order from continental to whatever you require, up to full english. Very well cooked with fresh produce, also the snacks and meals.
I will return to the Anias Beach time after time.

We have just returned from the Anais Bay, having decided to renew our vows for our 15th wedding anniversary in Cyprus. We had a wonderful day, and couldn't have managed without the help of the hotel management.
We have stayed in the Pernera area before, and met so many people who repeatedly return to the Anais Bay Hotel, that we decided to see for ourselves.
From start to finish nothing is too much trouble for the brothers, Nick & Yiannis - My husband lost his mobile phone at Larnaca airport, and within 24 hours it was sitting in our pigeon-hole behind reception... How amazing!
Our room was clean and tidy, with a daily maid service, as are the dining and pool areas.
The food is good, especially breakfast, but we chose to stay on a B&B basis as there are many other restaurants in the area - We did eat at the hotel a few times though, and found the food to be of a good standard.
The BBQ/karaoke night is a must - Yiannis' Robbie Williams impression is hilarious!
If you are looking for an enormous, ugly concrete block of a hotel, where you don't see the same member of staff more than once, then the Anais Bay is not for you.
If you are looking for a 'home from home' type of holiday, where the staff know you by your first name, book yourself a week- You won't regret it!
Thoroughly recommended.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at the Anais Bay. The hotel was great and all the staff were friendly.
The room was kept clean with a daily maid service. The pool bar was handy as we hit a heat wave and we usually had waiter service depending on the barman's mood.
I would recommend doing scuba diving with triton diving who come to the hotel and let you try it out in the pool, we ended up doing it twice in the sea.
The pubs and restaurants close to the hotel were all good especially the Knights Bar. If you are a couple, this is the place to go - quite at night but nightlife a two minute walk away. We will be back in 2008.

My partner and I went to the Anais Bay hotel after visiting there last Sept. We had our wedding in Cyprus and chose this hotel again as we liked it the last time we were there. The hotel is advertised as a 'honeymoon hotel'.
As soon as we arrived the problems started. We did not have the high floor/sea view room as requested, but were given a 1st floor room with a view of a back garden. We contacted the manager the next morning, and he reluctantly gave us a 3rd floor room with the sea view (we paid for the upgrade) from that day the management (two brothers) treated us badly. We did not have the 'basket of fruit and wine' in our room on arrival, as per advertisement.
After the first week, we contacted the management to ask if we could have a double bed in our room instead of two singles. He refused, saying that there was only one double bed in the hotel (we saw a few when the rooms were being cleaned) but we could move again, at further cost. We declined his offer. The management, for the second week of our holiday/honeymoon virtually ignored us, including when my wife (to be) was waiting in the hotel lobby in her wedding dress. They just looked and made a snide remark (in Cypriot).
The other complaint we have is regarding the 'Wedding Package' from Libra (at a cost of £479) the wedding organiser frequently turned up late for the appointment with us. We had to find our own way to the town hall to register ready for the wedding ( not being offered a lift) and generally did everything ourselves. No contact with us was made by the photographer and the hairdresser until the day of our wedding.
Our wedding went ahead and it was wonderful. We will return to Cyprus in 2008 but not to the Anais Bay in Pernera. I also would not recommend this hotel or Libra wedding services to anyone.

We stayed here a couple of years ago on one of our ' last minute' holidays and thought it was lovely. very friendly, close to the beach and it has a lovely pool area. Alot of people that stay go back year after year.
We get Christmas cards every year from them. Slightly on the edge of the main town of Protarus but there is some bars and restuarants just round the corner. There is also plenty of buses or taxies into town charged at a reasonable rate.
All in all it was a great place to stay.
