We stayed there end of June/early July 2011, selfcatering. We found our apartment very spacious, clean, quiet (there is no pool) but very close to the beach and 20 minutes or so from the town with a great selection of places to eat. Nichol is very friendly and helpful. is shop is first class. We will book here again for 2012. (hint- do not miss Sakis taverna- top of the hill, turn left.) These apartments are brilliant for those who want a simple and authentic Greek holiday.

  • Advice: good sandals to walk the four kilometres to Ali Pacha's Castle (bring a torch to explore the passages)

I`ve had the pleasure of staying at the Nicolaou for the last four years. Nikos the owner is one of the most helpful & friendly people I`ve met in Parga. He also runs the well stocked mini-market at the front of the building. The studios are clean & spacious,especially no. 1. Linen is changed twice a week & the studios are cleaned daily. The beach,& the great `Olive Tree`snack bar are only a 5 minute walk away. Parga itself is another 5 minute walk over the hill past the castle. The Nicolaou`s a great base for hiking up to Ali Pasha`s castle above Anthousa or a walk along the coastal path. Unfortunately the Nicolaou was full when i booked my trip earlier today. I`d recommend these studios to anyone,but please dont book them before me next year!
