Daphne Apartments

This is our 2nd time in tsilivi and our 1st time at takis place. I cannot explain how much we loved our time here.
it was going to be a holiday to remember for me and my partner as we were set to be married whilst there. 30 of our close friends and family joined us in tsilivi, all of whom came to visit george, george and tazis.
we arrived a week before our guest but before we knew it we had made friends with the owners and other guest at the apartments. everyone was soooo friendly, soon after our welcome drink (which had to be alcoholic ordered by big george) everyone knew we were getting married the following week.
although tazis place is only small i was very surprised that i NEVER had to get up early to save a sunbed. george and tazis were always pleased to stay up with you and have a late drink nothing and i mean nothing was every too much for these guys.
i have now visited quite a few of the hotels in tsilivi and can say with confidents that TAZIS PLACE is the most friendly and happiest place in tsilivi. the wedding day came and george, george and tazis were all very excited. they arranged a horse and carriage to collect me and my dad (so lovely). as i walked down the stairs in my wedding dress all the family and guest where waiting for me, clapping and cameras at the ready.
the apartments are very basic, roomy and clean set just out of the hustle and bustle of the main street. PERFECT.
the resterant next to tazis place is fantastic its called valentina's castle proper greek food.
the beach is only 5minutes walk one of the nicest beaches i have been on, loads of watersports and well worth the walk to the harbor.
we took the kids to the tsilivi waterpark (the small one behind planos hotel) it was great and george's brother works there as a lifeguard.
myself and my husband cannot wait to return next year for our anniversary, i have been to the travel agents already.
TAZIS PLACE is the only place for us see you next year!

From the moment we stepped off the coach we knew that for our first holiday in greece we had found a "special place". We were greeted at the bar area by "Big George"(yorgos)and "Little" George and the owner Takis who immediately placed complimentary drinks on the bar and started to tell us a lot about tsilivi and where to go. With the Takis family and George, the emphasis is definately to have a fun time and they will go out of their way to make sure that this is exactly what you have, as their antics around the bar and pool made endless amusement for us and other holidaymakers. The apartments are large and spacious and are kept very clean and there are fresh sheets and towels 3 times a week and the beds are made every day. there is a large swimming pool and a bar area where they serve breakfast and snacks which are really good value for money as the portions are large and delicious !! The apartments are situated at one end of the town which is pretty quiet, but a 2 minute walk and you are in the hustle and bustle of the town which has every type of restaurant and bar that you could want. A few of our favourite restaurants are Pieros,Trenta Nova, Benikos, and Valentinas Castle all of which serve great food at reasonable prices. The apartments are ten minutes walk from the beach where there are all kinds of watersports available. The beach is excellent with bars and plenty of sunbeds for hire and is great for young children as the sea is very walm and shallow even when you walk out a few yards. We could not have found a better place to go as an introduction to holidaying in Greece. We cannot recommend Takis place highly enough as we felt like "one of the family" but you cannot fail to make friends here as this is the kind of atmosphere it has. Thank You the Takis Family and George for your hospitality and we look forward to seeing you in 2012.

2 weeks at the daphne wasnt enough, this was our fourth time there and took friends with us, we all had a fantastic time and didnt want to come home, takis and family are really great and dont change from year to year, always felt welcome and they were always there if we needed help.keep up the good work takis and hope to see you all soon.xx

First time in Zante and Daphne appartments. The family who run these appartments are the best. They are friendly, generouse & lots of fun. From the minute we arrived, my daughter and I were made to feel welcome. We were hot and tired after our journey, we stepped off the bus into the bar, and were asked what we would like to drink by Big Geroge (the best bar man), when I said I would like a diet coke, he asked again "what would you like to drink" - "a glass of wine" I said - thats more like it he replied - what a wonderful welcome!
The appartments were very clean, the pool area always had pleanty of sun beds and the laughter was apleanty. I cannot compliment George enough for his hospitality and generosity of his time, and I hope they pay him well, becausde he gave 100% & went that extra mile to make sure we had a great holiday.
I would definately return one day to Daphne

Been back nearly a week, so miss it, we've changed our holiday next year to go back to the daphne for a 5th time. The staff are realy lovely, apartments are basic but well looked after, even if there are'nt enough coat hangers. Why would we want to go any where else when seeing people from previous years and getting to know new people. ITS SIMPLY THE BEST. Rob & Lesley, Rob & Jennie

Just returned from another fabulous holiday at the Daphne, meeting old friends and making new ones. Comfy rooms, clean and well kept. Takis and his family, not forgetting Yorgos! really make everyone welcome. The Greek night was fantastic and enjoyed by all.

Just got back and wish we were back in Zante. The apartments are basic but great. The family make you feel very welcome and cant do enough for you. They are very clean and even have a kettle and toaster apparantly unheard of in Greece. We met lots of lovely friends and people who had been going back year after year to these lovely apartments. The two Georges are great fun and make you feel very welcome.
They are based just of the main strip but close enough to everything and only a short walk away to great bars and restaurants where the food is 1st class.
The beach is an easy walk and the sea perfect for young children.
Will be going back and taking all the family

Just got back from a fantastic holiday.. These apartments are outstandingly clean and tidy, rooms are spotless,towels changed everyday!! On arrival we were given a warm welcome and a welcome drink of our choice, staff warm and friendly. On day of departing we were also given a free drink, never known this before. The resort itself is fantastic, you're spoilt for choice a great selection of restuarants and bars!! We will definatly return to Tsilivi and to Daphne Apartments thankyou to all the staff for a memorable and fantastic holiday!!

just got back from daphne studios, we had an excellent time.rooms were spotless,towels changed every day food at snack bar very good and prices were also very good.family were very helpful,will certainly be going back.

On arrival we were greated by a very warm welcome with a very cold drink. We were taken to our rooms to find everything you would need for a plesent stay. The rooms were a good size with fresh towels, bedding and cooking facilities.
The pool and the area around it was kept immaculately clean with plenty of sun loungers for everyone. It's a shame the sun wasn't in the same ammount of supply.
The family and staff were brilliant, they couldn't of done more for you. If you needed anything, no sooner had you asked and it was done.
The first night was my 18th birthday and they put up decorations and got a cake in for me.
It was a lovely supprise. They really did go beond what you would expect to ensure that you were as comfortable and as happy as possible.
We stayed in the worst week in October weather wise. Half way through our holiday there was a tornado and 4 of us needed to be taken to hospital. No sooner had the tornado ended everyone was there to help us. They were brilliant, took us to be seen to before getting checked over themselves.
Even though this was the worst weather we'd seen, it was by far the best holiday we've ever been on and that's all down to Big George, Takis and his family.
We came to this island strangers, but we left feeling like family.
