Daphne Apartments

We have just returned after 2 fantastic weeks here. Although we liked Tsilivi, it was staying at the Daphne Apartments that made it such a fantastic holiday!
The apartments were cleaned daily and there was always plenty of room around the pool. There is also two pool tables and a big TV for the children, and although mentioned in another review that it's right by a road, which is true, you hardly get any traffic down there as the Daphne is tucked away from the centre, its about a 5 minute walk.
Daphne (Takis place) is family run and Takis and his family go out of the way to ensure that your holiday would be one you would remember. Thank you to Yorgos (The barman) and his girlfriend Aphradite too they were great! Make sure you go to the Greek night at the Daphne it was certainly one of our best nights.
There is lots a great Restaurants too in Tsilivi, the Greek food is delicious especially the seafood. We would recommend the Castle which is literally 2 mins walk away.
We read so many great reviews about Daphne Apartments and we were not disapointed.

Didn't know what to expect of the hotel as it didn't look much from the brochure.
But we had been to Tsilivi, Zante, before and loved it so wasn't fussed too much about what hotel we were staying at.
It ended up the best holiday I have ever had to this date, much better than when we went to Tsilivi before and I will never forget it.
The hotel is quite small, but has a lovely atmosphere, pool, pool bar and the family and staff are really friendly and we were gutted to leave!
The studios are well equipped clean and have everything you need.
The location of the hotel is excellent as it is only around the corner from the resorts bars, restaurants, taverna's and shops but it is not right in the middle, so is still quiet.
I would recommend anyone to go as it is perfect for families, couples and even teens (as there is a few clubs in the resort centre).
I am definitely going to go back there a year in the future as this holiday was a memorable one.

Not a good place to stay. Not child friendly as stated in the brochure. Two pool tables next to the main road.
A swimming pool that gets very deep very sharply. Poor standard of cleanliness. Bins not emptied daily which is not very good as you have to put the toilet paper in the bins. We were in the room 10 days before the sheets were changed for the first time.
I got the impression that unless you were going to spend all day by the pool and most of the night in the bar spending your money they were not interested.

Fantastic place set on the edge of town amongst olive groves and fruit trees yet only a few minute stroll from the bars, tavernas and shops of Tsilivi.
Studios are well equipped and spotless (the best I've had) There's a small pool and bar area where Takis and family will make you feel really welcome. They are friendly and helpful but have the knack of knowing when to respect your wishes for peace and quiet.
Zante is not my favourite Greek Island but the people here, and the friends I made by staying in such a small and intimate place (16 studios/apartments) Made this an experience I shall never forget.
I rarely visit the same place twice but for this place I'll break the rule! See you there!
