Just returned from 3 weeks holiday at the Daphne Apartments and had a Brilliant Time. Takis and his family made us feel really welcome and we had a good laugh with them all The Apartments were spacious and clean and towels and Linen cleaned regularly.cant do enough for you.yorgos(big george)and little george do a good job keeping the bar open late and i mean late lol.takis does a great breakfast well all the food is great cant fault it.and good value for money. Aphradite who is yorgos girlfriend is brill and she does make a good coffee lol.all the family are fantastic.we made some great new friends there.hope to see you all again soon xxx will write a better review soon xxx

Just returned from these apartments on the 1st week in september 2010.
Having read mixed reviews about the Daphne apartments we were of the mind that there were more positives than negatives and hand on heart I can say that I could not find fault with anything about this small but very friendly place. The fact that people have been going back to these apartments for years for us gave us the confidence to give the place a try despite the odd poor review.
Although basic as regular travellers to the Greek Islands our apartments had everything you could require and essentially clean and looked after.
Takis and George catered for any requirments you may have, Indeed at no extra cost we were able to hold on to our room until late in the evening prior to our early morning flight home at the end of our holiday.
If you are looking for a peaceful but friendly place to stay I would not have any hesitation in recommending The Daphne Apartments. Without doubt we will visit these apartments again.
If you manage to read this Takis I was hoping to see you prior to our departure to thank you for your hospitality and warmth during our holiday.

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday at the Daphne Apartments and had a Brilliant Time. Takis and his family made us feel really welcome and we had a good laugh with them all especially George who looked after the Bar during the day and Yorgos at night and nothing was too much bother for them. The food was good and cheap enough.The Apartments were spacious and clean and towels and Linen cleaned regularly. The Air Conditioning was great and well worth paying for as it wasn't too expensive. Pool area was clean and due to the small number of rooms there were always plenty of sunbeds.
Only a 5 minute walk to the start of the Bars and Resturants which there was plenty of and about 15 minutes walk to the beach. Hope to go back again and would recomend to anyone.

I guess the second week was better as we were inundated with a large group who`d taken over the first week so we didn`t feel very welcome.Found the room we had to be extremely noisy as so close to the road and the bar - and George! Having read all the reviews we were looking forward to visiting a small family run hotel / apartments but actually thought George to be rude & didn`t care for his swearing - we`re not prudes by the way!Angela couldn`t bring herself to smile and the sons indifferent.The owner was very amusing though!Only had our linen & towels changed three times in a fortnight and bins weren`t emptied daily.Tsilivi not "our cup of tea" but our problem for choosing that resort - a bit too commercialised - we preferred Vassilikos & quieter spots.
In hindsight looking at the photos we did have a good time but can`t quite see where all the rave reviews came from.Obviously we`re in the minority as folks go back time and time again!

We returned this year with the family.Unfortunately we could not get them into the Daphne,but they spent most everyday at the poolside with us.The grandchild Aaron had the best time being fussed over by the staff.He remembers all their names,so they must have made a good impression on one so young.As usual everything was done for us that we needed.We actually got to their greek night this year.it was fantastic.Barbequed food cooked by takis and grandad was really tasty and the salads so fresh..daughter got engaged while over there.and they want to go back to get married!!!Big thank you to all the staff for making this another wonderful holiday.Have rebooked for september this year. had the best holiday staying at this hotel. The family make you feel so welcome and would do anything for you. i would definatly stay again! i didnt want to come home! 10 out of 10, very clean and spacious rooms!

What a fantastic place to stay , spotlessly clean , family run appartments. Takis the father who has limited English couldn't be more accomodating . His son George runs the pool bar where nothings too much trouble. Moms snacks are fresh and well cooked, beware though a pizza will feed 3. George the night barman can be a bit loud and oppinionated ,but just give him back as good has he gives , and you'l get along fine. You wont believe the size of his measures of " Metaxa ". All in all a great holiday , will be back next year.

We have been staying at the Daphne apartments since 2004. The owner Takis and his wife Angelica have made us welcome every year as do their two sons George and Adonis who we have watched grow into lovely young men. They make us feel like family when we visit and our holiday there is our yearly bit of sanity in a busy life. The place is always clean, if you can manage to get out of bed by 7 am you will see Takis up cleaning ! We expect a high standard and can not understand anyone writing the bad reviews earlier but some people just want to moan. We meet friends there every year because people come back like us, we rebooked to go again next year as soon as we came back home. The geek people are wonderful take the time to treat them with respect, we have so many good friends in the town. When we leave there they cry, my wife cries. But we will see them all again next year god willing and it will be hugs and kissing. We have been are the world abit but the Daphne apartments are truely a lovely place just to chill out. And a secret little spot just tucked away on the outskirts of the town away form the noise but 5 mins from some lovely bars and 10 mins from a lovely safe clean beach. What more could you want, Takis and family will take good care of you.

What a fantastic time we had at the Daphne Apartments, everything including the rooms were kept very clean, Takis, Angelica, George, Tony and Yougos we very friendly. Takis what a great sense of humour, Angelica fantastic cook, Tony and George nothing to much trouble not forgeting the barman Yougos cheeky monkey, and last but not least the maid who couldnt speak much English but all the same very friendy and kept the rooms clean and spotless everyday. I have no doubts in recomending the Daphne Apartments to anyone. We have already booked again for 2010 and are taking our two daughters and their boyfriends with us. Keep up the fantastic work Takis and family will see you all in 2010.

We have been visiting Tsilivi for the past 9 years and for 8 of those years we have stayed at Daphne apartments, now known as Takis Place. We feel that we are visiting home from home because of the welcome we get from Takis and his family. The apartments are clean and food is great. We always have a relaxing time, fun at the bar and meet up with other people who are also return visitors. We love our chilled out time in Tsilivi, so much so that we took our 3 grown up children this year and they, like us, thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were treated so well by the family.
