just retuned from antonis pool bar, brilliant place to go for all ages, got an excellent welcome from the staff nothing was too much trouble, even when not eating on site they would recommend places to eat. rooms were basic but very clean and well attended, b block rooms bigger than a block. pool area was kept clean and tidy all the time we were there. wendy who organised the entertainment worked really hard and did a fantastic job with quizzes and karaoke, and who could forget her little banker leo for her version of deal or no deal, one word of warning due to the fact greece is 2 hours in front of uk time and a lot of events, football matches etc, are linked to uk time they do not start until 9.30pm or 10pm and can run on till early hours of morning, and the apartments are quite close to the bar so it can be a little noisy but this normal in zante. while we were there, there was a wide range of age groups from toddlers to pensioners and every one was very friendly and mixed well. its an old saying you arrive as guests and leave as friends. this is true of this family run site. well done the staff at antonis see you again next year!!!!!!!!!!!

We've stayed in Kalamaki four times now, the last two times at Antonis apartments. The first two years although we didn't stay in their apartments we visited their pool and bar everyday. We are returning in October and this time we are taking my sister and family. The staff are great, accommodation basic must most greek accomm is. Pool is beautiful, food lovely and entertainment in the evening great fun. Pedros, Nick, Julio, Avijol, Leo and the gang will ensure you have an enjoyable and unforgettable holiday.

Just returned from 2nd time at ANTONIS Studios Stayed in A Block again only bad thing I can say it really is time to do some work on this block. Rest of the complex is fantastic pool area is really the best in Kalamaki The Staff do make your Holiday they go out of their way to be freindly. We are not youngsters and did not get disturbed to much by the younger people coming in at all hrs. We have already booked for next year. Well done all the Staff especially Leo he is so popular

Ive stayed at antonis on hree seperate occasions and i must admit its the best holidays i have ever had. The location of the apartments is excellent and the staff are friendly. The first time we stayed we were in b block with brilliant veiws overlooking laganas bay and turtle island, the second time we stayed we were in a block which wernt as nice but still very comfertable. The apartments hgave a brilliant pool area and you feel relaxed. I would definatly recomend a stay at these apartments and i cant wait to return for a 4th time.

We arrived at bout 2pm greek time gor 2 weeks! and were welcomed by pedros!! who gave us our room key! and then offered the choice to hire a safety deposit box for 25 Euros for the 2 weeks! We did take this!
We were Given B9. The new apartments at the back! quite a few stairs 2 get up with your case though because it was right at the top!
the room consisted of a single and a double bed, a fridge, 2 rings! we ate out most of the time so we only used the room for sleeping and getting ready.
the maid came into our room every 2 days and she changed the beds, gave us clean towels, emptied the bins and brushed and mopped the floor.
the pool area and gardens are kept clean and tidy!!
all the staff at the bar are so friendly! including Petros, Loulios, Antonis, Nick and Leo and Elvis and then there is olci and all the others. and gary the dj of a night!
the bar has a range of activities of a nght including karaoke, quizzes (which include shot questions), Greek night. they alkso show all major english sports on 1 of many tv screens! and the x factor! and have all the latest filmns in the cinema room!
the food at the bar was reasonably priced and really nice! we ate at the bar most mornings for breakfast and again for lunch if we were hungry! but we just used to get club sandwiches for breakfast. then we would eat out at 1 of the many restaurants on the strip.
we booked trips to the shipwreck and the water park an st nikolas beach for water sports through our rep. although people say dont we found it to be quite reasonably priced.
antonis is quite central with the beach 5-10 mins walk away. there is plenty of shops nearby for you to get anything you need. then up the strip there is a wide choice of restaurants serving traditional greek food to italian and english.

ANTONIS APARTMENTS - THE "REAL" TRUTH
Well my wife and myself arrived 1pm at the Antonis.We were told to go to the bar for the key to our room.We were asked if we wanted Air conditioning at a cost of 86 euro for the fortnight.I declined and we were badgered every day to take air conditioning.The saftey deposit box was 25 euro's, I declined that too.
While at the pool on the "FREE" sunbeds, we found most to be broken.A member of staff said why not get a sponge for the sunbed? (they were stacked up against the bar wall) I said great, then the member of staff said its 2 euro's for the sponge per day each.So that would have been another 56 euro's for a sponge for us both,I declined again. Now so far, on top of the paid holiday was,
Air conditioning - 86 euros
Sponges - 56 euros
Saftey deposit box - 25 euros
A grand total of 167 Euros. None of them I wanted.
Now to the noise.We were in bed say around 1 am most mornings.The noise at the bar was terrible.The noise and holiday makers would spill out onto the pool terrace until 4 am most mornings.Then that would kick off the cockerals, the barking dogs and quacking geese.
During the day time the pool was full of screaming, diving, unruly youngsters and some 18-30 age groups. This was supposed to be a quiet holiday for couples.That is why I booked with Thomas Cook.If I had known it was going to be a noisy debauched holiday I would never have booked it.
After 3 days of noise around 20 hours a day non stop, we decided to use the facilities of the Cava d'oro pool and bar.We would leave the Antonis at 9 am returning at 6 pm just to shower and go out for the night.On returning back to the Antonis late at night,we would then have to suffer the noise until around 4 am again.
We were shattered, but luckily we could look forward to a rest at the pool of the Cava D'oro during the daytime.
There were only two rings for cooking.No toaster, no microwave.So you were forced to eat out, not a choice, you had to do it.Terrible weak shower and no shower curtain, soaking the whole bathroom.
It was quite reasonable to eat out, around 8 euros for a main course meal each.Average pint aroung 2.50 euros.It was easy getting into Laganas and Zante town at a fixed fare of 1.40 euro on the local buses.
At the Antonis it was 3 euros for a two thirds pint.3 euros for a small plate of chips.We only drunk and ate there there once whole fortnight.
The staff were friendly indeed and............ over friendly with the young females staying at the Antonis.
The supermarkets were very expensive.We have been to Greece 4 times but sadly this is the last time we will ever set foot on Greek soil. They have caught up with the Spanish and are overpricing.
We also went on the"Round the island Boat Trip" Nice trip but the boat was way overcrowded.It was worth 20 euros though.
My overall view of the Antonis? Noisy, overpriced and very very basic apartments.

Been going to Zante for 15 years stayed in various studios on the Island but by far the Antonis apartments was the best We stayed in the well slated 'A' Block but we was pleasently surprised, Yes they are smallYes they are basic but they were clean, clean towels and sheets every few days and toilet roll as needed. The pool area and gardens are kept immaculate The staff are so friendly, We ate at poolside quite regular and the food was grat and very cheap. Im off to re book for nxt year.

At First I saw bad reviews before i went so i didn't know what to expect but then i got there and i LOVED it. I stayed In B block In the room B5
Best room ever ( good view of the young boys playing football)
Remember im 14 so i watch that kind of thing hahaha
The People who work there are so kind and so funny
you never get bored at the hotel!
I loved it so much
Leo Is the funniest person since forever and hes so sweet and kind
Pedro is funny
It is just the most amazing holidayy ever
( Oh by the way, ask for B block trust me you get a much better holiday) x

An absolutely fantastic holiday!!! could not big up this hotel anymore. room was basic and clean, pool was amazing, food from hotel was good. The Mythos(beer) was amazing, played football with the lads, kept calling elvis and leo malaka's. staff where really friendly, they had themed nights on which where good, loads of other interesting guests there. Down Under just a short trip away. go see Wayne, the guy will hook you up with good deals. The Scottish boys loved it so much we are already booking to go back

just got back from staying at the Antois Apartments, and we would reccomend it to any one.
as we arrived we found that two old ladies had took our arartment in B block so as a temp we were given a room in A block.
the rooms in A block are quite small and very basic, but after an hour we got our room in B block (B14)they are great, a lot bigger and very nice with a fantastic view of the sea.
all the staff at antonis are very helpfull and the maid service is good. we had our towels and bedding changed twice a week and they even gave us more loo roll ?
the food served in the pool bar is great, we had no complaints at all.
i would not advise booking any trips with the reps, you get a better deal with a chap called Chris at Cavo Grosso he is next to Georia taverna, just come out of Antonis and turn right.
we booked the Ship wreck tour (20 euros each) it is a full day on the boat and takes you all around the island stopping three times, i would reccomend this to every one.
also we booked the Olimpia trip over to the mainland (34 Euros each)you do have tpay an extra 9 Euros each to go into the museum and archiology site but it is well worth it.
they take you round with a proffesional guide etc then you get some free time in the town (about 2 hours.
Chris at Cavo is a great guy and will not rip you off.
also a great way to see the island is to hire a bike or quad ( we had a quad)this was either 20 eurosfor one day or 15 euros if you had it longer we had 3 days = 45 euros (no deposit required. you can hire these with a provisional.
eating out is great, there are no shortages of tavernas or bars, we found that Vakhos was about the best with all the food being fresh etc. the boss Marios is great.
then try a B52 in Mojitos bas opposite, Pedro the owner makes every one welcome and it is a very nice relaxed bar with great surroundings.
all in all we had a great holiday and would reccommend the Antonis apartments to any one, just remember to book B block ???
