Antonis Apartments

I went here with my mum, step dad, sister and step sister.
had a fab time.
got drunk evry night.
got along with the staff really well.
so well that evri other girl hated me my sister step sister and our mates coz we hung round with leo,elvis,olci,addi,andreas
even tho its only leo and elvis hu work there.
petros wrote on me evry nite.
we did cha cha slide and saturday all nite hha.
good times!
leo always pushed us in the pool!

We stayed at the Antonis apartments towards the end of August. We did not see one cloud ALL week. The weather was absoulutely amazing! The Pool bar was perfect serving of english food all day! The full english breakfast was the best, the eggs are from the chickens on site so are very fresh everyday!
The boys behind the Bar were top class and could not fault them. On our arrival we were given free drinks and some shots!
We stayed in the A block, they were basic but clean and did the job. Unless you want to sit inside all day the A block wont suit you.
I would also reccomend a boat trip to the blue caves or the shipwreck, The water is crystal clear and warm and always fun when you get to jump off the boat into the sea. We were very lucky to see 2 loggerhead turtles, even though it was late in the season.
I could go on for ages! but basically Julios, Pedro & Leo were brilliant and nothing was too big a deal for them!
Miss it already, hope to be there next year for 2 weeks!!!

Brill holiday, best have have been on, this appartments had everything i needed for a holiday,appartments had couples and families there no loud groups of guys or girls. stayed in block A, very basic however this didnt bother me as we never spent time there, the family are very pleasent people always happy and lively, made you feel very welcome, The pool was outstanding with 2 bridges an one big one. Easy access to the beach just a short walk away. All the bars and restaurants was not that further away going in the other direction. Lots of entertainment on at the nights with Quiz and deal or no deal afterwards (think they need some proper boxes tho lol) Greek nights was intresting tho they did tryed getting me up dancing every time. Kareoke was on some nights not my cup of tea but wasnt a problem if you didnt want to sing and just wanted a few pints of mythos. Hoping to go back next year for 3 weeks hopefully.

Myself and family have just returned from the Antonis apts. where we have a brillant time cannot fault the place have already recommend to friends and will definately go there again. The people, food and apts where unbeliveable. The only fault we found was the local wildlife (mosquitoes) they did take a shine to us. Has for the entertainment a must is Quiz Nite and Greek Nite you must not miss them outstanding. The pool was the best in Kalmaki and was kept spotless(thanks to Antonis and family) with plenty of sunbeds no matter what time you go there nobody leaves towels on beds a very rare thing these days.

just had one week in the antonis with my husband and two children what a wonderful peace full week we all had. staff first class, nothing too much. we were in block b we had two large bedrooms with ample space. the only thing that was a let down was the kitchen i dont think it was equipt for cataring for a family but food which you could buy from the bar was good, if you budget for eating out you will have a good holiday. had some nice meals at the lighthouse you cannt beat homemade chips. antonis pool, bar, and rooms clean. always got sunbeds during the day. the location of the apartments were in a nice quite area we had nice views over the mountains and could see the sea from our room. would all go back no problem.

Absolutly brilliant.The apartments are clean and tidy. You are provided with all the essentials for self catering. The pool and bar area is great, always clean and tidy. There is entertainment provided every night from Greek night which provides a BBQ and traditional greek dancing. There is also quiz nights, with free shots for shout out Q's, football and sports on big screen, a cinema room, fully air conditioned, food is lovely, and the staff and so friendly and treat you like family. Great place for young couples and families.
The town is lovely and the restaurants are top class, especially. 2 min walk to all supermarkets and bars. Double glazed rooms so noise is to a minimum, you can purchase air con for your rooms and a safe.
Returning next year and would recommend to all.

My family and I have just returned from our 13th stay in Kalamaki, for the last four years we have booked direct with the owners of the Antonis apartments. We either stay in the 2nd block in the family room or in the villa which is owned by the same people.
What can I say about these apartments and their owners, only that they are brilliant, especially for the kids, the kids have a brilliant pool to play in, a games room, tv & computer room and also a large field for them to play football, they will never be bored and so do the adults. The bar has brilliant entertainment if you do not want to venture out onto the streets of Kalamaki where you will find numerous places to eat and drink. You will never go short of places to go if you want to stay around Kalamaki there is the long sandy beach which is only approx 200m from the Antonis, the beach stretches for nearly 2 miles ending in Laganas (which I must add is not a place for families) this is to be avoided for definite, but the walk along the beach is definitely to be recommended. If you go to Kalamaki in June/July you more than likely will be able to see the Loggerhead turtles out in the sea, as they normal nest around these months, but you can still see them in August by taking one of the numerous trips which can be booked along the main Kalamaki road, (dont book through your travel agent as their prices are much higher).
If you are thinking of going to Kalamaki and staying in the Antonis apartments you will not be disappointed, as I have said we have been going now for 13 years, returned from there yesterday 26th August 2008 and have already booked again for next year. Roll on 2009

Me and my friend had a really good time in kalamaki. Kalamaki itself would get 10/10 for me. Its a lovely resort not too big not too small with plenty of restaurants and a few bars to chose from. The beach is lovely- big and sandy. Also the bigger town of Laganas is not far away if you fancy a livelier night- only 5 mins in taxi or a 1/2 hour walk along the beach.
The Antonis apartments were fine for us- they are basic. The sea views from our balcony were gorgeous. Some people might not like the fact that the beds only got changed once in a week and the bins are not emptied that regularly. The kitchen is not much good if you want to cook as there is only a small hob but there is a reasonable size fridge.
The shower in the bathroom is a bit inconvenient as you have to hold it above you- there is no holder on the wall. Also the water took ages to drain away which might annoy some people. We asked them to come and unblock it a couple of times but nothing was done.
The pool area is the best aspect of these apartments. Its nice and big with plenty of sun beds and a pleasant bar area.
Would definately recommend kalamaki for a relaxing holiday, good base to explore Island, lovely mountanous views and beaches.
Antonis apartments are fine if your'e looking for basic apartments. We had an excellent and memorable holiday.

I originally booked with Manos a year in advance (taken over by Thomas Cook).
Antonis apts are in a good location in Kalamaki off the old road and about 15 mins walk to the beach. Open aspect to the back with field just right for football games (even in the heat!) My kids loved the Pool, and there were no problems getting loungers considering we were right in the middle of peak season. The bar area was nice, and the staff were hard working and friendly, entertainment most nights, Greek night, quizes, kareoke, which you could take or leave (we did a combination).
Okay, now the negatives. Apartments are basic (and yes, I know it is Greece), but even so, the self catering facilities leave a lot to be desired, not even a toaster. I know it's too hot to cook, but with a family of four it is impossible to budget for eating out for three meals a day for 14 days, especially if you want to go to the water park, hire a car etc.
Also, we were suprised that there was no living room area or settee in the apartment, just bedrooms, a kitchenette, and a terrace. Saying that, you do not spend too much time in your apartment on holiday, so we were able to make do.
Kalamaki is quite a compact resort, lots of restaurants to eat in, bars etc. Beach is lovely, but hiring a car (Merlis car hire - excellent) and driving around we found other nicer coves and beaches as well. Supermarkets in the town expensive, but there is a Lidl on the road into Zante town and we stocked up there and got a lot more for our money.
The best thing about these apartments is the location and the pool area, so enjoy those if you are visiting.

After reading other peoples review we was very nervous about going to the Antonis, well what can i say we had one of the best holidays ever, all rooms had air con, they was cleaned on a regular basis, the staff was all very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, they had plenty of entertainment on and Gary the dj was brill, what can i say other than see you next year guys we are just on our way to book it, the fun loving criminals
