Just returned from a week at Bougainvillea Hotel, was quite concerned at comments I had read previously as this was to be a family holiday and the first holiday with our two grandsons, one of two years old and one of 9 months, the whole family found the holiday the most relaxing and friendly experience, the apartments where great, food fabulous, Linda and Yiannis good company and lovely towards my grandchildren, my daughters felt they had a wonderful relaxing holiday and great fun with all the staff, a good lesson for me, I have never read reviews before and realise you need to find out for yourself and not listen to others, I worried over nothing and most certainly would return again.

Nice studio apartment, good location. Unfortunately the owner spoils your holiday if you don’t eat in his restaurant. We liked to explore the island, eat at a different place every night and made a simple breakfast in our room. The result: the owner, Yiannis, started to completely ignore us and was straight out rude at times. When we left and said goodbye, he didn’t even respond! We read a lot of similar experiences at different holiday review sites, so this surely isn’t an exception. Consume a lot and he’s your friend, be your own boss and you’re in trouble. With us it went relatively well, we’ve read a lot of horror stories that are much much worse. So if you want to go t Agios Sostis, pick another place. There are many to choose from.
