Colony Club Hotel

The Colony Club is a friendly but upmarket hotel. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble during our stay.
The hotel is right on the beachfront but also has lovely if small pools. They have several entertainment sessions in their restaurant, including limbo dancing and Barbadian country dancing. There was also a steel band one night.
The food in the restaurant is fabulous.
It was safe and easy to use the local buses from right outside the hotel to get into Bridgetown and visit other attractions throughout Barbados, although a taxi ride isn't too expensive either.
The hotel has its own library and free internet connection with a couple of PCs you can you.
A brilliant restful holiday.
