However, Grand Bahama itself was hit by a hurricane a few years ago and is taking a little while to get on its feet again.
Having said that, if you're just going for a beach holiday then this is ideal. There is a small mall and marina just over the road with lots of restaurants if you fancy a change from the selection of restaurants in the hotel complex.
There is also a market where you can pick up some souvenirs.
As for the hotel itself, it has several pools with bars and plenty of loungers. It is on the beach too where various watersports are available.
There are a selection of restaurants providing Asian, Seafood, and traditional American & Buffet. The cocktails are fantastic- I can recommend the Waverunner!
Finally, there is a casino if that's your cup of tea.
