Great quiet secluded location, but that’s where the good stops.
Staff were not at all helpful, it took 5 days to get a safe operational which was as simple task to sort, but the worst of all was the rats running across the dining room floor, one in particular with half a bread roll in its mouth, just when you’re eating your evening meal. Food was very much plain and no variation with veg and cooking ways.
There was no entertainment, yes it was the quietest time of year, but the bar closed at 10pm every night so it was back to the room and watch TV, which is not what’s expected as stayed in the Hawksbill last year and that was completely different.
