We booked our airport transfers with them via email, and we were so glad we did, as the airport was quite chaotic!
The hotel itself is in the City, the beach is about 20-30 mins away via taxi (which are dirt cheap, but the drivers are crazy, and quite often it takes a while to flag one down) As we were in Dubai for a wedding which was near the beach, we didn't really have time to explore the areas around the hotel itself.
We used the pool and pool bar a few times, and this was fantastic and a real sun trap. We also ate at the Sherlock Holmes one afternoon, and the food was fab. We often stopped at the Starbucks in the reception on our way in at 3am, and the staff were always friendly and helpful, and remember you.
I also had a massage in the spa which was gorgeous, and reasonably priced. When you check in you get a free 10 minute massage coupon, so I would definitely recommend you take this up.
The rooms were well decorated and clean (although there were 3 of us in our room so it was a bit overcrowded at times!!) the mini bar well stocked, and the rooms were made up every day. Fantastic air con which was well needed. We were on the front of the hotel and the first day we heard the prayer call from the Mosque over the road at 6am, but after that we must have got used to it.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyway looking for a lovely hotel right in the centre of the city, with good ameneties and fantastic staff.
