Ca'Del Campo Hotel

Great location , a few min from St.Marks square , very clean , quiet and helpful staff . For the money an excellent find . Highly recommended

We stayed here in September and were pleasantly suprised. This is a building which was recently converted from an office building to a hotel. It is just a few blocks from St.Mark's Square and an easy walk from the vaporetti stop. This may not be the cheapest hotel in the world, but the location is superb, it's clean, modern and secure and a very nice breakfast is included. It's not difficult to find if you ask for "campo della guerra" in San Marco plaza. Then, for a delicious, reasonably priced meal, try Barbanera. Take a right out of the hotel, over the bridge and it's the second place on the right. Half the price of many others in the neighborhood.

I required a quiet, comfortable, reasonably priced Hotel with a lift (travelling with my 81 year old mother),in central Venice. The Ca' del Campo fulfilled all of these requirements. The decor was refreshingly "unfussy" but very elegant, and the top floor breakfast room was quite delightful. (the buffet continental breakfast was good too!) We were given a 3 bedded family suite for the price of a twin. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay again, and would recommend it to anyone looking for good value and quiet comfort.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel in September. The hotel has recently been renovated, is clean, well-managed and superbly located just 3 minutes from the Sct. Marco square. The service was excellent and friendly. Despite being in the dead center of Venice, the location is quiet and excellent for ventures into any parts of Venice.

We have just returned from a 2 night city break to Venice where we had been lucky enough to stay at Ca del Campo Hotel. This hotel is well situated close to St Marks Square next to a quiet little canal with a little bridge. Looking out of our window we could watch the gondolas going by, very picturesque! The king size bed on the first floor was very uncomfortable and one other weirk qwerk- they made us turn in the room key whenever we left the hotel.

The 3 of us enjoyed this hotel the most of our mid-priced choices in Italy. We stayed in an elegant suite (2nd floor), enjoyed their fresh continental breakfast and the wonderful location. I'm guessing the management wasn't local (cool in temperament and quite efficient). Excellent value for the price.

My wife and think that Tripadvisor.com is the best travel website on the net. The reviews on this hotel are "spot on". Great location, good price, clean staff were very helpfull and friendly.

We spent 4 days in this hotel. The location cannot be beat, the service was great and the rooms were very clean, modern and large. We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful with directions and recommendations. We wanted to see a concert that was taking place in the Lido and they took care of ordering the tickets for us without any extra fees.
