We have not too long returned from a two week holiday here. Please read all the reviews carefully and do take note of the negative ones as they are true.
We are a black professional couple with two young children. I do not think this hotel is suitable for black families and they do not like English people, so what chance did we stand!
One day a stood at the bar for 45mins before being served, once I complained it all changed. The best part of the holiday was the entertainers, they were lovely and friendly, the kids club staff were also great, especially Danni, and Betty.
This holiday has totally put me off of Turkey and I would not visit again!!!!!!

Just returned from a 2 week AI holiday . We are a family of 4 with 2 x children aged 16 & 12. The hotel is huge with 2 good sized pools, shops, numerous restaurants, snack bars, bars & a large entertainment team. The hotel is on the beach which is lovely & clean with numerous watersports available (some free).
The hotel is very busy but is mainly occupied with Turks, Russians, Dutch, Iranians & Polish. English families are a minority & our children didn't really make any friends here. The entertainment team do work hard during the day but the night time shows were awful & very repetitive. Due to there being so many nationalities everything that is said is repeated in various languages & takes forever! Plus the kids disco doesn't begin until 2130 & the main show at 2200.... far too late.
The food was great with a huge choice & we never went hungry. Drinks are topped up throughout meals & the waiters are very friendly.
Kusadasi is a 10 min bus drive away but be prepared to be hussled outside evry shop! Make time for a visit to the market on a Wednesday... great for bags, clothing, perfume etc. There are 2 water parks very near by too, we visited Aqua Fantasy Park which was fab.
Make sure to take plenty of mosquito repellant, they were a nuisance.

we arrived at the hotel early hours of the 2nd august.. first impressions were good and from there the holiday just got better and better.
the hotel was very clean and quite large, the two pools were clean and a desent size the main pool was always busy and very lively. the beach was large (quite narrow but long).
there was always plenty to do, with the entertainment staff always organising games and activities throughout the day. including crazy darts, table tennis tournaments, shooting, boules, and pool games in the pool. the entertainment staff themselves were top class and always came over to talk and say hello, but were never pushy. just like to say thanks to Chris, Bobo, Bambi, Pikachu, Bibo, coco, and ozzy,, and of course the females betty and danielle.. the only one i would have any thing bad to say about was joker she was always moody and didnt smile or talk much.
the other staff were also fab including tom the bar man,,, and yusef in the resaurant he would always have our beers ready on a table when he saw us walking to the resaurant even when the resaurant was full,,,,, And to all the other staff that really looked after us we couldnt have asked for any better,,, THANKYOU TO YOU ALL you made our holiday....................... and of course to stumpy who made us howl with laughter.. he he he
we are definately going back next year and cant wait, hopefully with a fab family we met there (HELLO GUYS IF YOU READ THIS)

well when we booked this hotel i had mixed feelings about it,especially when we read some of the reviews, but when we arrived there we all got our luggage taken from us and taken to our allocated room. which we have never had before anywhere,the rooms were big and spacious very clean linen and towels changed every day,which was good.the food was very nice could not fault it put it this way you would never go hungry,also the snacks served in between were nice as well. hotel staff very nice especially the animation team coco bobo bibo,pickachu chris manuel ozzy bambi, cise joker danni katy betty all very nice people couldnt do any more for you always got you involved, those people work extremely hard to keep everyone entertained, i couldnt do what they do, me and my family had the best holiday would love to return will miss the animation team, the hotels also does a al la carte night one fish and the other kebab both mmmmm lovely.do not know why people complain about the hotel and food, we will definately be returning.

" NOT for wheelchair users! "

We travelled to Kusadasi in June for a holiday booked through our local travel agents. They assured us that the Tusan was suitable for wheelchair users but we found when we got there it clearly was not. The access ramp to get in and out of the hotel was far too steep and slippery to use. Once in the hotel their idea of a disabled room was one near the lift. There was no access to the bathroom for wheelchairs - an essential requirement. Many paths in the hotel grounds ended in steps and the beach and the a la carte restaurant were inaccessible. We had to transfer (at our own cost) to another hotel that did have disabled facilities, the Aqua Fantasy. If you are disabled I recomend avoiding the Tusan at all costs.

" What a fantastic holiday we had at Tusan Beach "

Our family took a long awaited 2 week holiday to The Tusan Beach Hotel in Kusadasi. We had a completely fantastic time.
When we first walked into the holel at 6am we were thinking oh dear! The hotel looked dark and very 70's but actually when we had a sleep and a look around later we knew we needn't have worried.
Kusadasi is a short dolmus ride away ony 2euro per person each way. Kusadasi is great full of the usual genuine fakes, but the people are very friendy. It's very clean too.
Anyway back to the hotel:-
The rooms were basic but comfortable and was cleaned daily. We had a double bed, single bed and camp bed. There was pleanty of room for the children to play. We had a wonderful sea view from the balcony and straight infront you could see on of the outdoor restaurants.
The beach was fantastic (a little pebbley & rockey in parts)but the children didn't care and we spent hours there. The watersports team are very helpful and friendly too although we didn't actually use the watersports facilities.
The pools were fantastic too. The main larger pool was a bit deep and noisy for us as it's close to the animation activities, if that is your thing though you won't be disappointed.
We spent most of our time at the quieter pool as we stayed from 20th May it was very quiet then and only a handful of people were at the pool at any time. Sometimes it was just us nearly all day. Which was wonderful.
The Mini Club is great and my children loved spending a couple of hours with Sisi. Sisi even managed to get my 7yr old up in the evenings to the mini disco to dance (something she would never normally do). Lots of fun was had.
We didn't really join in with the animation activities but ther was always lots going on and they work really hard to keep everyone happy and entertained including pool, darts, water polo, step aeobics.
The restaurant had a great selection of food available, breakfast does however get a bit boring after 2 weeks but the is a great choice of hot buffet with hard boiled and scrambled eggs and sausage etc (no bacon), lots of breads and pastries and continental meats etc. On the hot plate outside you could get freshly made pancakes, omlettes and fried eggs.
Lunch and evening meals there was a good selction of hot foods inc, beef, chicken, fish,turkey etc and veg/potatoes & pasta/rice. There is an enormous salad bar and desserts selection is great.
They also have a cafe for snacks and pastries but we didn't need to use it as we ate too well at main meals. The waiting staff are very attentive and helpful. If you do decide to go to Tusan Beach I recommend you find Baris he was very efficient and friendy - my 3yr old took to him immediately and she called him her cheeky friend he always had a table for us and drinks were with us very quickly.
All in all the hotel is great, the staff great and we would most definately visit the Tusan Beach again!

we have just returned 2 days ago from our 2 week all inclusive stay and already we are booking to go back in a few months, The hotel is fantastic, rooms very basic but cleaned everyday, staff very friendly and made us feel very welcome, the animation team couldnt do enough, they start at 10am and run activities all throughout the day up until 5pm so you never need to get bored, night entertainment could be a bit better but was still worth watching, The view and location is outstanding, and the pool to the beach is about a minute walk and the outdoor restaurant overlooks the sea at night. The food is good choise and you never get hungry as food runs allday from 7am till 9.30 the only downside is that after 9.30pm there is no food avaliable till 7am unless you purchase crisps at the shop. I read the reviews on this hotel and was a bit funny on what to expect but we loved it and the kids cannot wait to go back, I would not reccomend this hotel to a couple who are expecting a quiet holiday as its a very lively place, The beach was brilliant and clean and with your wristbands you get free access to the pedalos and canoes, I rate this hotel as more than a 10 but the only downsides were the no food after 9.30, no ice creams as its not summer season till july, and you cannot book for more than 2 weeks at a time,

This was a fab hotel, the staff were amazing the animation team were just out of this world and had us all up doing different stuff and I think we were in most of the shows every night. The food was great so much variety, it was my friends birthday while we were there and they made such an effort it was truly an amazing holiday and we have booked already for next year, the weather was lovely and there is so much to do in the hotel and the town is only a 5 min dolmus ride and they are every few mins, cant wait to see the animation gang again, Cicilio, Joshua, Koko, Diesel, Suzy and Kiwi were all just great. Roll on May 2009!!

hotel is run down needs refurb desparetley. this was our 2nd visit but wont be returning. animation team came over slightly too friendly and 1 in particular was all over my husband (suzy). muzzy, leo are gentleman and the lads are ok but the female animation dont talk to wives just after english men. the activities are very good and they are good with children , however watch your hubby!!!!

This is my first time to Tusan Beach Resort Hotel and it is a very nice hotel, (the only downside is the rooms need updating, but you dont spend much time in them anyway!!!!)
The best part of the hotel has to be the animation team. The animation team were brilliant: Cecilio, Gizmo, Matt, Leo, Koko, Suzy, Joshua, Deisel, Fred and the rest, they were all amazing. It was none stop laughter with them guys. They always try to get everyone envolved and they work really hard to keep eveyone entertained. These guys are the best and you can always depend on them to put a smile on your face!!!! They always put on a great show every night (non stop laughing) and always get the audiance envolved and participating.
All the other staff (waitors, barman etc) they were all fantastic aswell, they would help you to their best ability, they were allways smiling even when some guests would not say please/thankyou etc and be really rude to them. Jimmy and Hassan (waitors)looked after us in the main resturant and allways helped us out, Burak and the other staff at the bar/cafe downstairs from the pool were such a laugh, we would have a good time with them to.
Mirjan (i think thats how you spell it?) and the other guys who do all the water sports on the beach were such good fun.
The weather was beautiful, clear blue sky everyday, and the temperature reached the high 30's everday (sometimes 43 degrees). So take plenty on sun lotion as you will need it.
The food at the hotel is very good, there is a lot of variety and we enjoyed it. There was always a variety of different meat, vegtables, salads, fruit etc available.
I would definatly reccommend this hotel to anyone, and i am looking forward to going there again next year.

This was the second time our group of 11 had been to Tusan our 4th time in Turkey. We had never been back to the same place twice. We had another fantastic holiday.
Ok the rooms needs updating but when you have an action packed holiday like we did we only spent 5 hours sleeping in them!
The greatest attraction to this hotel were the fabulous staff. Umut and Kamil the waiters, Hassan the waiter in the restaurant anf the incredibly hard working animation team Koko, Matt, Leo Suzy, Cecilio, Ginger Joshua and Co. We feel we have made friends with all of them and they could not do enough for you.
We have booked to go somewhere else next year again in Turkey. I hope it matches up to the Tusan Beach Resort.

This was our 3rd year on the trot we have been to Tusan beach and it just keeps getting better. Koko,Sircan,Cililio,Met,Susie,Josh,Ging and Kamil and the others made it a very special time again. If your into a relaxing holiday doing nothing you can do this.Equally though if you like the games and pool side fun then theres that also. The Animation team work non stop and they will help you whenever they can. We especially enjoyed the football match with the boys, as England won again ( sorry Koko ). The food for me has improved a lot and the waiter service has improved as well. Thanks to Ahmet for that. We are already looking to book for next year where we will be made to feel very welcome.

Time to write another report on the Tusan. This is our fifth visit in four years so you could say we like it here.
As usual from the time we stepped through the front door until the time we drove off in the coach the staff were fantastic, always helpful, always greeting you with a smile and always willing to help (despite some very rude guests in the hotel)
This year for the first time our room wasn't in the front part of the hotel but over the retaurant. THe room was slightly smaller but the view was as good and with its own A/C unit a real bonus. This part of the hotel for some reason appears to be quieter as well. Yes the rooms may need some updating but they are always clean and after all you only use the room for changing and sleeping.
There has always been comments about the food at thehotel not being that good well this year it seemed even better. How anybody couldn't find something to eat is beyond me. Thanks to Hassan in the main restaurant who looked after us fantastically again. Thanks must also go to the two Mehemets in the Cafe Perge as well as Mehmet in Teos Cafe. This is still my favourite place to eat lunch.
Umut, Kamil and Siet behing the bar were fantastic and kept the drinks coming all the time with a smile. Thanks guys may take the liver some time to recover.
The pool is looked after this year by Sam who was always there with a sunbed, brolley or ashtray if you needed one. Sam and his assistant were always clearing up keeping the pool area clean.
The hotel has also employed a customer relations person this year to look after the guests and make cetain their holiday is great. Sonoy (I hope I have spelt her name correctly) was very helpful and genuinely concerned that we were enjoying ourselves. The minor problems we had were quickly and easily delt with. Its great having one point of contact she does a great job.
Now for biggest part of the hotel. The animation team!!!!!!!!!!!!. These guys are absolutely superb, they work extremely hard with a limited budget and the shows they put on are fantastic. Korai you and your team made our holiday once again. Diesel, Metin, Joshua, Serkan,Suzy, Ginger, Cicilio,and Max (and the rest of the team who I didnt get to know) thank you for looking after us again I can't praise you guys high enough and yes we will be back later in the year

I have just come from Tusan...İf you like to eat food you should prefer Tusan beach..foods and drinks better than other 4 stars hotels.Tusan beach hotel has got better beach than other Kuşadasi hotels...Tusan has gots at least 4 kind main hot food..meat,chicken,vegeterian and fish...also There is a big cup ice cream in dinner... I live Turkiye in İzmir and I know other Kuşadasi hotels...You can trust me..

the first time i went blew me away, its so surreal how comfortable and happy you feel just from the first day! the hotel at first view is beautiful, we normally arrive at night where we see this big fountain that lights up and its just gorgeous! as we get off the coach you can see all the others look out and say WOW.
it only take a few minutes to sign in and sort out rooms... then your cases are taken up to your room. The rooms are quite big and spacious and no matter where you are located in the hotel you are guarenteed a stunning view!
the food is lovely, especially at night, theres always a chef cooking something on the grill, from kebabs to steaks! the waiters knew our orders of drinks and we was always reserved a table every night with our drinks ready for us!
the barmen where brilliant! always happy and up for a laugh, even when the bar got quite full at night they worked fast and efficient, and was always fair! which meant anyone who pushed in, would still wait until those who had be patient were served!
but by far the thing that tips the hotel into perfection, is the animation team.
koko, pikachu,bobo, bibo, danni, ozi, katy , chris, Dj crazy , joker! as well as ilker and ice the camera guys! your all bloody fantastic! always happy and joking about, very welcoming. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
the team eventually become more than just your entertainment they become great friends that you never want to leave! i know i cried buckets when i left!
theres not a bad word i can say about this place, so ignore any bad reviews cos its all nonsense! EVERYONE is happily greeted and welcomed by the staff and team of tusan!
