Submitted By: Miss T ShingfieldThe food was ok always something to eat. Lots of entertainment during the day and fantastic shows at night the funniest has to be when the animation team did "if I was not an animator."
A big hello goes to koko muzzy, Leo[serkan],metin, Suzy, cisilo, joshua, deisel, ginger, gizmo ,rita, lena,dj mourat hope to see you all next year.
The pool man is always working hard. The bar staff did a great job especially kamil. Also the girls at the coffee bar who are always smiling.
I don’t think my children would want to go to any other hotel they love it so much.
The dolmus runs outside the hotel every 10 minutes from 7 am to midnight . The market in Kusadasi on weds are a must for everyone.

Submitted By: Mrs N TryfonosAs soon as the bars start serving from 10am, huge, enormous amounts of alcohol are consumed. In fact most drinks ran out and by lunch time as the demands were so high.
This hotel is nothing like it is shown in all the photos. It is totally run down. The bedrooms are old and smelly and the air conditioning does not work, it is also centrally controlled and is switched off at certain hour’s altogether. It definitely is not a 3 star.
All meals are served and kept outside with absolutely no covers with flies, wasps and all sorts in, on and around the food. The serving counters, tables, chairs, baby highchairs and floors were all filthy, dirty and disgusting. They had absolutely no idea about food hygiene whatsoever.
Access from one part to the next was also very difficult. You virtually had to walk all the way around and inside the hotel to get to another part.
The only good points were the coffee in the afternoon and also the scenery on the terrace bar. Turkey is full of beautiful scenery so, this was no exception.
If you wish to go to Kusadasi all inclusive pay a little more and get so much more for your money.
Try the pine bay hotel or The Grand blue sky; both have fantastic views, clean and modern rooms with individual air con units that work well. Pine bay has better food but blue sky is in a better location to centre and close to ladies beach.
Whatever you choose, have a wonderful holiday in Turkey.

Submitted By: Mr T TowersRooms basic but clean. Beds are hard but sheets changed every day. View from balcony breathtaking. To be greeted with that view after a tiring bus ride from the airport was out of this world.
Animation team were excellent, especially Polly, Muzzy, Coco. Hotel was spotless, gardens lovely, and you can relax in peace and quiet or take part in the fun and games as the mood takes you. Not that I had any choice. As soon as Muzzy saw me my name went down on his list for the next game - cheeky monkey.
Food fantastic and plenty of variety. The spread put on for breakfast EVERY morning has to be seen to be believed. No bacon, sausage or other pork products obviously (it's a Muslim country for heaven's sake, what do you expect). Evening meals always a good choice.
A good mix of nationalities staying. There were Belgians, Russians, and Irish while we were there, as well as other English and Scots. All were friendly and we made several friends.
Plenty to see and do out of the hotel. If you like history, you MUST go to Ephesus. I would have liked to have seen more of the town, but I did not like the constant hassle from shopkeepers. My wife got quite good at haggling so left it to her, to the extent that one shopkeeper said he was scared of her.
I recommend the Turkish bath at the hotel. We both had a body scrub and massage, and nearly floated out of there, we were that relaxed.
The hotel hairdresser also great - very friendly and eager for a chat over apple tea whether you was a customer or just passing. And he gave me the best shave I've had in my life.
To summarise - go to Tusan for your holiday. You will not be disappointed. We weren't and we will be going back.

Submitted By: Mr J S WilliamsFirstly the good points, check in was swift rooms were clean and as we had 3 rooms, 2 were next door to each other and the 3rd one was about 4 rooms away, so it was great for the kids going back and forth.
Pool area is good nice size pool with separate bit for kids or you could use the small pool around other side of hotel, sun loungers were one of the best we have had, quite sturdy and in good condition.
Rooms had small balcony one chair 4 beds, 1 double 2 single a fridge which you are not allowed to keep anything in, it’s part of mini bar charged locally, free safety deposit box, air con didn’t work below 27 deg so would be great in winter.
Now some of the down sides. Main food breakfast, dinner and tea was very poor, hardly no selection and stayed the same choice all week with no variation.
On complaining we got a better choice on the Friday, which also coincided with a big group of German and Belgian half board guests arriving. They stayed for one night, food back to normal next day.
The snack bars in the day were great, plenty of variety at different times of the day, plus another snack bar down behind the pool open for 1 1/2 hours, serving Turkish meat balls and pide.
There was no children’s menu all week, also the main bug bear all week was as more h/b guests came and went they got better service at dinner time and at the bars later.
They had taken our money already, so these were fresh meat and a beer cost 6.50 lira for a half, so they got served first also the waiters did a table service for them, so they also went to the front of the queue.
Would we go again yes, if I could get it for the same price £2300 for all of us from our local airport.
The price's I’ve seen since coming home are around the £500 each mark so we had a great deal.
Hotel does get very busy from June on and we were told there was trouble last year with not enough sunloungers and seating for guests.
Last point, the animation team were great. Best we’ve had in Turkey and we been quite a few times. They knew just the right amount of pressure to try and persuade guests to join in, never kept persisting to a point where you had to be rude.
Say hi to koko he always had time to stop and talk and the whole gang were great with more staff coming they will always entertain you and look after the kids.
The pool volley ballgame towards the end of the week guests against animation team got quite heated, with the guests being robbed in extra time after we scored a winner in last second of normal time, only to be disallowed. Ask them if they remember kristian or (frilly) he enjoyed the competition, any questions on this hotel or area will be answered.
Again the only thing was the main food not up to standard but the bars were open from 11 am till 2am and your AI covered this.

Submitted By: Mrs Jayne WellsWould love to go back but the food has gone down hill since last year. For the amount of English people there they do not cater very well for them. The pizza place now shuts at 5.00 when last year open until 7. Children love the fast food and if the children are happy then the parents are happy.
The JMC rep could be a bit more 'people friendly'. All 25 of use had a wicked time again due to Animation team simply superb.

Submitted By: Ms A LambertThe menus were varied, with omelettes, fried and boiled eggs, yoghurts, croissants, jams etc daily for breakfast. Lunch and evening meals were buffet style and catered for everyone. Seafood restaurant was very appealing and preferred this to the Turkish night (You had to book for both of these and were only allowed 1 booking each week). The pizzas, spaghetti and burgers were available throughout the day at certain times and the ones we tried were very tasty.
The animation team worked very hard throughout the day, with daily pool activities- water polo, team games, aqua-aerobics, and were very entertaining. There was night time events going on - we experienced the Grease night performed by the animation team which was so bad it was almost funny watching them mime the songs in a totally different language! Make sure you go on a all day boat trip and visit the markets.

Submitted By: Mr D SlatWe mixed the two and had a great time. The animation team for me really make the hotel what it is. They work from dawn till dusk and never stop smiling and trying to make you feel welcome.
The food, I was amazed by the choice, each meal sitting there was any combo of pasta, white and red meats, salads and sweets. There was also a "cooked on the night" dish if you require. If we had one moan it was just that the bar service could be improved.
Moving from one bar to another was a pain, particulary as the assos bar was always undermanned and under stocked for the amount of people who used it. Other than this small gripe it was a top holiday and I’m already looking to book again for next year.

Submitted By: Mrs C WebbFood - very much the same every day, boring! Snack bar and bars very slow to serve, expect to wait at least 20 mins at busy periods of the day.
The two pools and the beach were good except the sun loungers by the pools had no cushions - very hard! The sun loungers at the beach were a curved shape and became uncomfortable after a while.
Water sports at the beach were very good and kept us amused.
Would not return to this hotel.

Submitted By: Mrs S K RainsfordThe animation team are brilliant and work very hard to keep you entertained, they are all very children friendly.
Food although basic at times it is fresh every meal time and something for everyone, the a la cart is nice and a pleasure to sit and be waited on. Adaland water park is a good day out, and a courtesy bus drives straight pass the hotel every 15 mins or a dolmus bus will cost you about 1.5 lira, it is about 14 pound each to get in for over 9 years.
Brilliant relaxing holiday hoping to go back again soon.

Submitted By: Miss S BartonThe animation team were great and liked our family instantly because me and my dad are quite tanned.
Every evening, we would eat our dinner, then me and my brother would go to the teenage bar and play pool that was free with our friends.
It was great that it was all inclusive, because everything was free, and this helped because I often liked some drinks and play pool and table tennis and that isn’t normally free in other hotels.
It was a great time, and that’s why we changed our holiday this year to go there again, can't wait to see the team again!

Submitted By: Miss J ColesThe animation team were absolutely terrific they really made our holiday the night shows were good and in the day there all there to play games it was great fun. On our first day we met a gentleman who worked at the hotel and he managed the spa and told us about the massages and mud baths etc to Me, Chris and Pai all decided to go for a Turkish bath and it was so nice! The dirt that came out of us was terrible lol, but it helps you get an easier tan.
As we were going all inclusive we thought the food would be horrible but it really wasn’t bad they always had a different selection of foods, great salads and the puddings were mmm! they were really yummy! There nothing like the puddings in the UK. We really enjoyed our stay there and will definitely go again.

Submitted By: Mrs M PayneThe maid service was excellent with clean linen and towels daily the food could have been better but you always found something to eat. Don’t expect bacon for breakfast and you better like eggs. The best place to eat was under the swimming pool. A good chef he made the best pizzas entertainment was ok for the children.
Staff was over the top friendly, lovely people, over all weather hot beautiful views, drink as much as you like and those lovely pizzas what more could you want from a holiday thank you Tusan staff and (First Choice).
P.S. if you have a late flight take some food with you as they don’t cater after 10 pm.

Submitted By: Miss E FroggattThe rooms are large and airy with a mini bar - this is not free and can be quite expensive. The only down side was the food - it was well presented but very repetitive and bland. There wasn't anywhere to get any snacks from after the evening meal had been served either! The bars closed at midnight but the disco bar stayed open til 2 so if you have been out in town and got back after that then there was only bed to go to!
To say it was All Inclusive - the drinks were quite good - not the cheap muck you usually get!
We were told by our travel agent that it was only a short stroll into Kusadasi but you do need to get a dolmus or taxi as it is more like a hike along a busy, poorly lit road. Its cheap enough to get in the day - 10 lira for a taxi if you haggle but very expensive at night to get back - 30 lira min.
The dolmus service is great though and there are a lot of places close by well worth a visit. Milli Park is beautiful and well worth the trip, its not far and only costs 14 lira return on the dolmus including the entrance fee - its a national park with wild boar and foxes that come down to the beach and you can feed them!
I would definitely go again as we all had a really great time and didn’t want to come home!

The entertainment staff were brilliant and put on some amazing shows during the night and kept everyone entertained throughout the day with lots of activities and pool games.
The food let the holiday down a bit as it consisted off rice chips and chicken near enough every night but it was edible. However you had to watch how the plates, cutlery and ice cream glasses had been washed as most of them were left dirty.
All the staff within the hotel were very friendly. The hotel was ruled by the majority of other countries and lacked English tourists and was ruled by the German.
The rooms were very clean and the plus side to the holiday. We ended up with a beach/sea view which was absolutely stunning. The maid came in everyday of our 14 day stay and changed our towels everyday and sheets. The air conditioning within the rooms was a great bonus as it was very hot at night.
While we were there 2 circumcision celebrations took place within the hotel grounds and continued until 1 in the morning which wasn't good for us as we were right above were it was held.
Overall the holiday was good but will not be returning as it was too far from he town centre for me and you need a taxi to reach it.
