Tusan Beach Resort

I went in 2005, at the time I was 15 years old, with a group of 6 adults and 4 children. I found that the place was amazing, I really had no problem with it, we went all inclusive for 2 weeks for only £325pp which was a f**king good deal. Entertainment was brill, food brill, the only hick up was the staff could be a bit flirty. Girls as well as lads, but I think you get that any where!!!!! I wouldn't mind going again in the near future.

I went with my boyfriend on a last minute booking and we really enjoyed ourselves. Hotel was very clean, rooms excellent, food was good too.
Although it was at the start of season and the hotel was fairly quiet, the animation team did a brilliant job of keeping everyone amused. We met some really nice people who we still keep in touch with. We are hoping to return 2008. In fact in my opinion it was our best holiday as yet.

Fantastic holiday although in need of modernizing, the holiday was made by the animation team though especially Muzzy, Metin, Leo, Ginge and Suzy.
Food not bad but repeated very often, a fantastic holiday though all round met some great friends and will defo return in a couple of years.

Just got back from Tusan Beach today. Apart from the remains of tropical storm in the first couple of days, we had a fantastic time! We went fully inclusive and found the food and the selection excellent. The hotel was kept spotless and the staff were always very helpful.
The pool and beach area were beautiful as was the scenery. When you go make sure to book up to see Ephesus. The Roman ruins are breathtaking!
The girls working around the bar in the lobby area also need a mention. They are so hard working, always cheerful and kept us topped up with booze.
We met up with some regular British visitors who have been going to this hotel, for the past four years and booked up again next year!
And last but not least, Muzzy, Coco and all the animation team, thanks for making our son's birthday a very special one!

After reading some of the reviews, I went with an open mind and hoped for the best which is what I got. The first two days I was looking out for all the faults we had read about in the reviews, but I do agree with one which says you get what you pay for, the food was mentioned in every review I read, but there was 3 choices of where you ate during the day, then the dining area on a night, the food was edible, but after 2 weeks, no matter where you stay it does get boring.
That was the worst bit about the hotel, the best bit has to be the entertainment team, you honestly feel like you are leaving your friends behind, if you are taking teenagers with you the entertainment team take them under their wings and you will hardly see them. When your children are happy it makes you happy.
We had already booked next years holiday before we went, but I am tempted to change it over to go back to Tusan Beach, because of the friendly staff who make your holiday, so don't be put off by the bad reviews, you cant please everyone and some people are not happy unless they have something to complain about.
If you are going with First Choice, I hope you don't need to use their rep for anything, other than book a trip, as that is all she is interested in. I had a accident while I was there and had to get one of the entertainment team to get me some help, as I had been to her several times but was always too busy and told you to call back later.

One of the best holidays had by a family of 10 people. Food much to be desired, but hard working chefs and waiters always made it bearable.
The hotel is basic, but has everything for a quick change between sunbathing and going out to party.
The animation team, Mett, Muzzy, Diesel, Leo, Josh, Ginge, Suzy Rita, Lena, and DJ, work the socks off every day, and we feel that although this is fantastic, for us, that they still could do with having time out, from management restrictions!
It was a holiday, enjoyed by all and a definite top of the list to return to for next year!

I love the hotel! The best hotel I have ever been in! The food was great, the entertainment, the staff and every thing else. The staff were very friendly and they always smile and say hello to you!
Don't listen to the people saying the food is rubbish because it isn't there is lots of food there and it’s all really nice! The buffet was my favourite went there almost every night!
The seafood was spot on and the Turkish was the best! So don't listen to the people complaining about the food because it is great!
We wished we went for 2 weeks because there is so much to do the water parks (Aquafantasy not really good only 9 rides, you have done the whole water park in about 2 hours), the town, the pools in the hotel, the sea, scuba diving, boat to Greece and many more! But watch out in the town in case you get ripped off because there is no copyright law so the stuff is mostly fake also watch out for the Nike tick being the wrong way round!

Well the hotel was lovely and scenery was too! Animation team was fantastic that is the men - females just eye up your husbands and flirt with them in front of the wives! Knew one poor family whose wife was going to leave due to female animation team wouldn’t leave the husband alone!!!
Pools were gorgeous and beach but please again do not let your husband go down to the disco alone – it’s like a knocking shop!!!! No place for children and again its staff after your husbands! Ideal holiday resort if you’re going single not so good if you’re married!!! Definitely will not be returning after what I witnessed!

Just returned from the Tusan Beach Hotel. There were 8 of us in total, 4 adults, and 4 children.
If you are thinking of booking this hotel, please be aware that it really is a 2 hour transfer from the airport. We thought this may be because of 'drop offs' but we headed straight for hotel and it took 2 hours.
The rooms are run down, especially the bathrooms. Rooms are a nice size though but in desperate need of a makeover. The air conditioning in the rooms is not very good, and when the temperature is about 50 degrees you are in desperate need for a cool room!
There is also NO air conditioning throughout the hotel; you will sweat like a pig even at breakfast! We found one air-conditioning unit on during breakfast, which really made no difference to the hall, but was good if you get to sit directly beside it!
There are many different nationalities staying at this hotel, so I am afraid the sunbed war is on! If you want a sunbed by the main pool (this is where all entertainment goes on) then please be ready to reserve your bed by 6.30am! There is a notice asking that you do not reserve sunbeds but this is ignored by all!
If you are a smoker then you will be in heaven at this hotel, if you are a non-smoker then you will be in hell, as smoking is allowed everywhere. There really is no escape. We are a non-smoking family and the worst bit for us was not even being able to eat breakfast, dinner or evening meal, without having cigarette smoke puffed your way!
I know you will think this is a stupid thing to say (as it is Turkey) but the food is very Turkish. Do not think that they cater for the British taste, because they don’t! The food is ok, it is very same-ish every night, and be prepared to have a doggy tummy! We had it frequently during our 2 week stay, we stayed away from everything we were warned about, but still needed to rush to the toilet now and again! The food is left outside for you to help yourself and there are flies and wasps all over the food, they really would be better leaving the food inside.
The staff at this hotel are very very friendly. All the waiters bar staff and the cleaners are lovely. Entertainment staff friendly but was not impressed with the evening entertainment.
There are no outside entertainers at this hotel; everything is done by the hotel entertainment staff. Muzzy and Leo are the best and very very helpful if you have any queries about the resort. There is no entertainment during the day for under 10's. There is a club for the little ones, but my son is 9 and there was nothing for him, he had to pretend to be 10 to get involved!
The view from your room (if staying on beach front) is beautiful, and even though the disco is open till 2am the noise was not bad at all.
You must do Ephesus, it is just worth the trip, but do the trip by taxi, and it is SO MUCH cheaper than a First Choice trip. We did the trip for £45 for 8 of us, where as First Choice want £30 per person! Barter with a taxi driver for a price to Ephesus but make sure you get the price sorted before you go for the return trip also! Pamukkale is beautiful but it is about 3 hours away from Kusadasi.
We heard lots of negative things about Turkey, but we found the people lovely, the shop keepers do try to get you in their shops, but we never found them rude and if you just say 'no thank you' they don’t keep on at you. Always barter for a better price, and once you get going it is good fun! We would definitely go back to Turkey, but will not return to this hotel.
We did hear that the Tusan Beach is being updated in October this year, and if this is so I am sure it will make a huge difference.

We had the best holiday ever. The hotel is very clean and tidy the rooms need updating but you only use them to shower and sleep in so no problem. The food was ok you could always find something to eat from toasted sandwiches, pizzas etc. The views across Kusadasi bay are fantastic.
All the staff work really long hours and are always smiling and make you feel welcome. Serkan and Kamil the barmen were great, they don’t know when to stop putting the vodka in!! The waitresses at the cafe were always busy cleaning the cups away. The photographers Ice and Ramazan took some great photos especially the ones at sunset on the beach.
There is also pedaloes and canoes on the beach, we went on the banana boat the man there is called Hedgehog (I think he was glad to see the back of Tasha, charlie, Mel and Beth!!!) The animation team work long hours and did a fantastic job from waterpolo, basketball in the daytime to great shows in the evening.

Muzzy:always about when there was money, but totally great.
Suzzy: our little friend! Was great dressed as a baby and at shuffleboard hope your hair is still straight!! Tasha hopes to see you in Feb. 08.
Metin: was very funny, Tasha keeps singing summer loving!! Also was fantastic as Whitney Houston!!
Deisel:very funny and very good at basketball. You have to see the show where he is dressed like a tramp.
Ginger: did french bowls and dressed as a chicken for one of the shows and looked really funny.
Cicilo:always dancing and did the crazy darts, was very funny dressed as a woman.
Gizzmo: total nutter!!! Likes to bite people in a joking way. Was brilliant at the freestyle and was excellent as Michael Jackson.
DJ mourat:keeps the music going round the pool all day and also at the disco.
Lena:responsable for all the shows every night and does a fantastic job
Joshua:is the set designer and likes to go in the pool with his sunglasses on!! Not sure how they stay on though.
Rita: she did the kids mini disco
And last Leo(serkan): was great he did waterpolo everyday was brilliant dressed as a butcher wanting to kill the chicken. Tasha misses you.
We have made lots of friends in the 2 years we have been coming here, we are looking forward to July 2008 when we are going back. Hope to see all the animation team there when we go so we can try to beat you at football!!!!!
