" Brilliant "
Submitted By: Scouse LiverpoolHaving booked on Teletext with Fleetway Travel we were apprehensive but must say that reading the majority of the reviews eased our minds. The plus signs as far as we were concerned were the Accomodation,Food,Location,Staff, must say a big big thanks to Maxim & Miriam who operate the speed boat trips for an excellent experience and Maxims really nice disposition very accomodating and nothing was too much trouble to him. Our thanks also go to ALL the staff who were only too pleased to help.We can all pick faults but our biggest minus was the coach trip from Bodrum Airport.
As far as stars go, ones 5 Star will be anothers 2/3 Star we suggest you go and try it out yourselves our opinion is it deserves a very good rating.

" Never a 5 Star "
Submitted By: MishkaThe resort itself is very clean though.
Some staff are friendly others just totally ignore you,Although the entertainment team work hard, the entertainment is pretty poor.
The Garden rooms are a bit like Butlins.
My wife mislaid her Glasses, although we reported it at the reception,no one bothered to get back to us and inform us that they had been handed in.A friend who was passing happened to see the receptionist with a selection of Sun Glasses which included my Wifes in a Silver case.On receipt of them I waited 10 minutes to sign for them and was eventually told it was ok.
Bodrum Airport very very expensive 5 Euros for a can of Coke.
Overall Holiday ok,probably good if you have kids.Would not go back to this resort.
Advice: Long journey from Bodrum Airport
Activities: Water sports

" Great hotel, great facilities, great food - a fab holiday "
Submitted By: bujetThe transfer time from Bodmin International is just over 2 hours but most buses do have a stop for around 20 minutes en route.
As we arrived at around 7pm we wanted a swim so my husband and step son (15) went onto the private beach and had a swim in the sea.
The restaurant is open until around 21:30 so we thought we had plenty of time to get something to eat after a long day of travel. However the food was pretty poor when we arrived about 21:15 and we wondered where we had come to.
The second evening however and every evening after that we always got there before 20:00 and the food was really good! Lots of choice in the main restaurant so no need to visit any of the specialty ones.
The room itself was pretty basic, one main room with a double and a single with a bathroom and small balcony. The rooms though are cleaned everyday by a maid so are always very clean. Also the onsite cleaning staff are always around, sweeping the main areas, cleaning the sunbeds etc every evening/morning. They also clean the sunbed area in the daytime, collecting cups etc (the drinks outside are served in plastic glasses - great idea to avoid breakage)
We found no shortage for sunbeds - even getting three together didn't seem to be a problem - we stayed the first week in August.
As part of the AI we got free local drinks from 10:00 - 00:00 hrs at the main pool bar. At the quiet pool they also had a mini self service bar with soft drinks, beer, wine and a tea and coffee machine.
There are 2 pool areas at the hotel and the private beach. The main pool being quite loud and busy during the day - this is the area where most of the "entertainment" took place. Also this pool had water slides. The other pool was the quiet pool which had a childrens area and also a larger pool The private beach had water sport facilities such as ringo, jetski, windsurfing etc. My husband and stepson did ringo and used the jetskis which they had a great time on - this does include an extra charge though.
The entertainment team were great. All number of things to keep people entertained throughout the day such as:
Aqua aerobics
Shuffle board
Table tennis
Water polo
Pool games
Sundance
Football
Basket ball
Volley ball
Step aerobics
Archery
Bowls
All these free
Also, if you have smaller children there is the mini club in the day time (no experience of this but we saw a few children coming out that seemed like they had enjoyed this)
In the evening after dinner there is the mini disco followed by the entertainment team show - this isn't our scene but judging by the applause coming from the onsite amphitheater it seemed to be pretty good! Around the main pool there was a guy playing guitar every night except Sundays.
Also from 00:00 - 02:00 there was the onsite Havana Disco - another thing we didn't make use of but seemed lively enough.
My only downside was that I went to the Turkish bath that is on site. It was 75 lira for a Turkish bath and a massage. Within 2 hours of leaving, I broke out into a hideous all over rash - I went back the next day to show the owner who apologised and gave me a free massage with aromatherapy oils to see if this would help to calm down my skin so to be fair they did try to make amends - If you have sensitive skin of any kind make sure you see if they can do a skin test in advance - the massage is great though!
I would recommend Kustur to all - not sure what the full price payers would think but if you could get it at the price we did you will be more than happy! We had a totally funfilled and relaxing week. Lots for the boys to do and plenty of "me" time too.

" Great stay "
Submitted By: badger2106The staff were great, very friendly and lots of them working around the clock tom keep the place spick and span.
I had my childrem 11 and 4 as well as their Nana and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The entertainment team were fab, lots of fun day nadnight without being overbearing.
Food was excellent with a good variety around the different restaurants and cafes etc.
The main pool was fab with its water slides, the kids and I spent hours each day in the pool without getting bored, partly because of the entertainment team.
The trip from the airport was around 3 hours but was worth it.
Job well done, Kuster Club.
" Brilliant holiday "
Submitted By: SloxPools were busy but this was expected as it was getting close to high season however, always managed to get a sunlounger.
My 5 year old daughter went to the kids club a few afternoons, this was mainly inside which was good because it meant she was out of the heat/sun for a couple of hours.
There was a childrens disco every night in the ampitheatre and this was followed with a show, we watched the comedy night and the Turkish night. would recommend the Turkish night it was very warm in the ampitheatre and the only drinks the bar there served were alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails although you could take in drinks from the pool bar.
Rooms were spacious we had a family room and the only let down was the fact that the double bed was in a seperate room with no individual air conditioning so was very warm. As for complaints about plastic glasses, this was just at the pool bar which is surely the best option to prevent accidents.
There were always taxis outside the hotel which cost at the most 15 lira for 6 of us. the dolmus stopped outside every few minutes that went to Adaland and Kusadasi centre for 2 lira 50 each.
If you are looking for a decent holiday at a good price I would definitley recommend Kustur Club.
" A pleasurable stay - very relaxing indeed! "
Submitted By: brigattiWe haven't been too disappointed with our stay but definitely want to raise a few comments as part of this review. We came on an all-inclusive holiday via lastminute.com...our flight was piggy-backing on the Thomson Airlines flight, we had a private shuttle added, and a private tour-rep (not the Thomson one!). The resort was full throughout our stay!
The hotel is flagged as a 5 star, but I do feel it should be 4 - but this seems be quite common with these types of resorts (e.g. Eygpt type of resorts!), so Kustur is not alone in this context.
We arrived pretty late, had a private transfer to the place and arrived the first stop, which was very nice! The transfer bus wasn't clearly identifable, as didn't show our name or a company we were told about, but we had to ask a few of the other drivers waiting for people and eventually located our driver! If one is shy or shattered after the journey, you could be lost (excuse the pun) before you even started!
Anyway, coming back to the resort, here are our thoughts:
Reception: our late arrival was greated with a smile. However, the receptionist wasn't that friendly and failed to really give us any useful "welcoming" information - rather than here's your key and the porter will take you to your room. As we arrived about 00:15, he could have told us that we could still get a drink in the resort at this time, uptil 01:00 - when we asked, he said that they had all shut / chargeable. Hmmm....strange.
Rooms: We made our way to our room in the "500's" which was at the top part of the resort. It was a walk, and we thought it was going to be quite bad, but actually we enjoyed this, as became our daily "exercise". It was also quite quiet up there, away from all of the hustle and bustle from the main area! Room was spacious, very clean and suited our needs to a T! The only thing to be weary of is that the servicing of the rooms was quite sporadic, sometimes it was late-morning, other times in the afternoon - even with the "please make up room sign" out. The TV was tuned in, so we reported this on the first morning, and it was sorted by the time we went back to the room in the mid-afternoon!
Restaurant: although really one restaurant, the main restaurant was "split" into 3 restaurants, two out-door areas and the main indoor part. The service staff were very pleasing, and supportive - and the food was very nice! A lot of choice every night, and the themed nights also made it an enjoyable experience. There was table-service, but I think that they would have been better served just to clean-up and replace the covers - which wasn't as good as it could have been, rather than servicing some of the people (who asked for it) their drinks.
Pool-side/Beach: beach was okay, definitely quite private indeed, but quite cramped for our liking. We decided pool-side for the whole week, and it certainly was lively but pleasurable. The animators definitely did their bit to brigthen-up your stay...although language was a bit of a problem. Mostly Turkish, they spoke bits of French and Russian - but hardly and English or German...and some also struggled with French too! We weren't hard-sold anything, unlike some of the other comments, but they did try to sell CDs, Shirts and the private services in the resort (Turkish baths etc). The beach/pool was VERY busy though, unless you came early, it would be a challenge to find a sunlounger ... I don't think they had enough to go around personally, but we never had an issue :) (we arrived pool-side around 8am!!)
One of the biggest drawbacks was the beach-towels (if you didn't bring your own, that is!) - they were like gold-dust...there were none given in the beginning as they had "run-out" on our first morning, but we managed to get some in the early afternoon (assume after the external laundry supply arrived - they told us they sent the beach-towels to be clearn outside of the resort!). We didn't manage to get them replaced once during our stay, as every time we arrived when the new deliver was supposed to appear (> 11am), the place was locked up or they had not arrived (though as their English was very broken - it was difficult to get to the bottom of it!).
Anyway, apart from the beach-towels, it was a great experienced. The pool-side animators were very friendly and hospitability - and nice-looking too! - the food and general atmosphere was very pleasant, and I am glad that we stayed in one of the smaller "manageable"-sized resorts rather than those big ones located in the more popular areas of Turkey. Would definitely recommend!
Advice: A very nice place, nice weekly market - every Wednesday (selling fake-goods).
Activities: We stayed within the resort mainly, and would highly recommend the Turkish bath / scrub and massage!

" brilliant "
Submitted By: deuintonthe staff are really friendly and they work so hard to make your holiday enjoyable.
yes they do try to sell you things around the pool but thats only the 1st day you're there
after that they normally leave you alone unless you want something and they do try to help you with what you want.
the cleanliness of the place is second to none both around the complex and in your room.
at 1st we were a little dissapointed to get two rooms at the top of the complex on a hill but after the second night realised it was actually an advantage because it was much quieter if you wanted a bit of peace and quiet at night.
the food although we did find it a little repetative after the 4th day that was because we over indulged before that going for every meal and then some! how many people do that at home?
yes there was music all the time at the main pool and the beach but if you wanted to avoid that you only needed to go to the quiet pool so long as you got there early because it soon filled up.
we made a couple of trips into kusadasi and found it really easy just to jump on a dolmus for 2.5 lire (about £1) they picked you up right outside kustur club gates and dropped you off right in the centre of kusadasi and vice versa.taxis were quite reasonable as well so long as there was more than three of you which worked out about the same as catching a dolmus.
the only draw back to the week was the transfer as we did the shuttle transfer which took 3 hrs.the reason is the kustur club is the last hotel on the transfer on the way in and the 1st on the way back to the airport therefore it took the longest to get to your hotel.knowing that next time we'll pay the extra for private transfer thus getting there quicker.
don't be put off by negative reviews of this holiday complex as we couldn't find any fault with the complex or staff and I sometimes wonder if these people actually went to the same place as us and most other people, who have written reviews about the kuster club
just go and enjoy

" Great! "
Submitted By: nicsueThe food was fantastic, there is a huge salad buffet, a hot meal buffet and outside barbeque area the former two being open for lunch and tea. I can't believe that there would be anybody who couldn't find something they enjoyed - delicious, fresh ingredients, loads of fruit and veg, but also chips and burgers for the unadventurous - desserts great. All inclusive lager is nice.
Two pools and a beach. The only criticism I have is that there is constant, terrible, music all day around the large pool and on the beach (although you can get quite far away from the music on the beach). The beach is clean and the water is warm - always spare sunloungers and shades. There is also free canoe and pedalo hire.
I agree with the comments about the animation team (events team) being irritating, but you don't have to get involved.
We got a last minute deal; 1 week all inclusive for £680 for 2 people - fantastic value.
This resort is good for couples and families.

" A waste of money and time "
Submitted By: MinniRooms: The room was ok but the room service was between 3 and 5 pm, so that we couldn’t have a kip. The phone wasn’t working (complaint several times but nothing been fixed). The prices at the mini bar are disappointing.
Reception: The staff at the reception was rude and ignoring. Always have had the feeling we are not welcome and shouldn’t get on there nerves. We asked for the “all inclusive beach towels” and have had to wait three days (after reminding them 6 times).
Restaurant: The food been so far ok but bland and never ever a 4*. The service (there is a table service for the drinks) been absolutely poor and the staff really unfriendly. Only if you pay some Tipp you could expect a proper service. The tables been constantly dirty and you are lucky if you will find any cutlery.
Animation: They are all Kids and it seems that they only enjoy themselves. The shows are based on to take the mik out of the guests. I can only recommend the Turkish Night. At the pool the animation staff is so busy to sell there T-Shirts and CD`s that they hardly haven’t time to play some games. The main language is Turkish the second one French and than a bit English
Pool: Overcrowded. Even the relaxing pool is in the hand of loud unintended Kids. If you like to be set under pressure to have a massage, Turkish Bath , boat tours, trips etc. you may enjoy the pool area.
This holidays been a waste of time and money. The rank of the guests are 70% Russian, 20 % French or Belgian and the rest is British, German and Dutch.

If you go in to Kusadasi, visits to both Planet Yuca (who serve PROPER sausages, a God send in Turkey) and Murphy's Irish bar (serve all home comforts, and give you a free taxi home) are an absolute MUST!
