Oct 2008, diane flower

arrived at kustur at 7pm, were taken straight to our room with very friendly welcome. room was lovely, big and nice and clean. staff were really friendly and polite. the only downfall of this holiday was the food, it was rubbish for 5* hotel.plenty to do in daytime with animation team, i must say they work hard.
we did not have transfer with holidays 4 u and they told us it was half an hours drive and we could easily get s coach but when we got there we could not get coach, only taxi which cost us £90 as resort was 100 kms from airport. holidays 4 u are a poor opperator and would not book with them again.

Sep 2008, Mrs A Langwood

This is our 4th time at Kustur and we enjoyed it everymuch as bit as we did the previous 3 times... The only major change was the drinks are no longer inclusive in the disco after 12oclock and in the ada bar (hera garden last year). The hotel was again spotlessly clean, the food was really lovely and most of the hotel staff friendly. The animation team was again the dogs [--], it was nice to see Ukey again(he was chief last year too) but the star of kustur this year is CASPER. We absolutely love him to bits- my son wanted to put him in our suitcase & bring him home lol. We are going back again next year, hopefully the little fellow (Casper) will be there too- he said he is going to be. Those who dont like kustur obviously dont know how to enjoy their holiday & some people are never happy unless they are whingeing!!!!!

This was my second time to Kustur...

Sep 2008, Miss K Vincent

This was my second time to Kustur Club and would recommend it to everyone. All my family has such a good time!!!! Me and a friend are going to go back in May for our third time.
The animation team are wicked, they are so friendly :) they made the holiday. The night entertainment was good, different shows everyday for 2 weeks.
The nightclub in the hotel was good, they played good english music too!! :) All inclusive finishes at 12pm so make sure you get a few drinks ordered before!!!
At first when we got to Kustur they gave us some rooms right at the top of a hill, so we asked to be moved, and the next day we were moved down to rooms at the bottom.
The day entertainment is really good, there are games throughout the day.
All sunbeds are by the bar which was good for us lol !! The beach was lovely.
There are snacks all throughout the day. There is also a club oppisite the hotel called Havana which was really really good for me and my friends, there was a foam party everynight, but drinks can be expensive so make sure you drink before you go.
Reception staff were very friendly.
I would definaltey go again and again!!!! We love all the animation team !!! and can't wait to go back again.

Really really disappointed with this...

Sep 2008, Mr M A Kenny

Really really disappointed with this holiday. Big waste of £2000 to be honest.
I will start with the calamity at arrival...took a good 40 mins to finally get the key for the room, then the 15 minute trek to the room, yes, 15 minutes !!..
Opened the door to a rather comfortable room but sadly very very small balcony. The view was 2 trees !!.. ( yes, we had asked for a pool view ! ).
Was shocked to find NO TEA COFFE facilities in the room...surely this said 5 star on the brochure ???..( eventually discovered that 15 mins back down the path is a cheap vending type coffee machine with styrofoam cups...)
Food, we couldn't eat a single meal...
Found that if you were English then you were left with a choice of 6 trays to choose from, all very bland and cold where as the Turkish menu consisted of at least 15 different types of food !!!.
The waiters and barmen were fantastic though !!!... to my blonde haired blue eyed partner....2 of them actually made several passes when i had to take our 7 year old son to the toilet ( bad tummy for 2 weeks says it all !).
Shall we return to this place ???...not a chance !. In fact, this will be our first and last trip to Turkey..
I would just like to advice that if you are English, this may not be the best place you wish to spend your hard earned cash..

hi, this is our second visit to the kustur club, and find it to be absolute value for money. if you are looking for a family holiday then this is the one. we are a family of 5 so we have to book 2 rooms but still find it great value. the food is abundant from day till night and you can even get soup and bread at midnight. the drinks are great too, although they could be doing with a bigger variety of cocktails. the entertainments team are on hand 24hrs it seems and they reallly do make everyone feel welcome. this is one of these holidays that are what you make it. you can sit by the pool all day, you can participate in all the games , you can do as you please. and if you get bored with the complex then the buses outside come along every 2 minutes and you can pretty much go anywhere within about 10 mile radius for a pound ( really ) you have the main shops ,but you haveto haggle..and i mean haggle, they will start off about 100 lira and sell you it for 10 !!! they can be in your face but really ae harmless. market days for bargains again you need to haggle. there are so many excursions you can go on ad i would recomend the booking hut just outside the complex hes even cheaper than the reps !!!! we are going back this next year again and the kids love it there. as parents we can relax knowing our kids are safe and well looked after. i have read some poor reports on this, but a holiday is what you make it. somepeople go on holiday to find faults !!! we love it and are going back , value for money. a big hi to all the staff there especially casper " the wee man " and all the entertainments team see you all soon

A real disappointment. Dirty, poor...

Aug 2008, Mrs D Reeves

A real disappointment. Dirty, poor quality rooms. 15 year old son had to sleep on a camp bed despite having paid adult price. Food was appalling, leftovers being brought out for next meal and water bottles being filled from taps. staff were miserable and unhelpful. This is not a 5 star holiday complex.
4 weeks ago we stayed in the Holiday Village in Sarigerme, Turkey which is 4 star and it far outshone the Kustur.
We have booked next years holiday to Turkey but we will not be returning to the Kustur.

We have only just returned from our...

Aug 2008, Miss M Ahmet

We have only just returned from our holiday this year in Kusadasi, at kustur club.
It was by far one of the best holidays i have ever been to. We stayed for 12 days, the staff at the reception were lovely, they always helped us out if we had any problems,
The room was spotless and clean with a nice balcony to sit outside,
The food was lovely, breakfast, lunch, and dinner was fantastic. There was always food on the go, every hour. The lunchtime buffet was outside near the pool, which was also nice if you wanted to stay near the pool and eat instead of going into the restaurant, they also had Turkish pancakes there from 1 - 4pm. they were also lovely.
There were 4 different pools, two were quiet pools if you wanted to relax. The other 2 were near the slides. The pools near the slides and the bar got very busy and there were hardly any sun beds left so we had to put our towels out earlier although if we did get there late the staff did help us find any spare beds that were around.
The entertainment throughout the day was endless there was always something to do. The animation team really got us involved. There was lots of different activities to do like mini golf, morning gymnastics, water aerobics, pool games, shuffle boarding, darts, water polo, boccia, games, archery, rifle shooting, volleyball, football and lots more.
The animation team were great, they were all so friendly and they could speak lots of different languages so communication wasn't a problem. They were very energetic and always tried to get you involved with the games going on. There shows at night in the amphitheaters were really good there was a different show every night for two weeks most of the shows were ones the audience could get involved with so that was good. Before the shows there was a mini disco for the kids which the audience could get involved with some of the dances the kids did, which was quite amusing
Overall i really enjoyed this holiday and i would most surely consider going again next year and meeting up with some of the animation team too. It was such a good holiday for anyone, familys with kids or without it was a very enjoyable holiday.

On arrival to the hotel we were...
5 / 10
Aug 2008, Miss J Wallis

On arrival to the hotel we were greeted and taken to our room quickly and efficiently. A couple of issues with the room were addressed quickly and efficeiently.
The mini bar is only stocked with one large bottle of water and is never restocked, but is big enough to hold bottles of wine etc.
The air conditioning worked in a fashion but we didn't bother with it too much as it just made the room smell of damp.
On the whole I wasn't disappointed with the hotel but I wouldn't recommend people paying for an all inclusive deal. I paid £1400 for a ONE week all inclusive deal for myself and 11year old son. The food was standard buffet style and was very bland and didn't inspire you to eat it. There were flies landing on the salads etc which put you off instantly. The waiting staff didn't speak much English and I felt we were mainly ignored at dinner time. We ended up catching a bus into Kusadassi most evenings and eating at a variety of restaurants there.
It takes me ages to book our annual holiday travelling as a single parent I want the place to be "spot on", the Kustur Club reviews I read were excellent so I was disappointed when I experienced the hotel for myself. I appreciate that overseas 5 star isn't as we know it, however I spent a week at the Ritz Charlton in Egypt last year for pretty much the same cost and it was out of this world.
Overall a good holiday but I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you are looking for 5 star luxury.

Aug 2008, Miss Beachtime Jacopsen

Third time at the Kustur Club. It makes an excellent base for a hoilday in Kusadasi.
Close to all the bars and restaurants it has the best location.
Will be back again.
Every year i read the reviews as i approach my holiday and every year they fill me with dread and every year i have a great holiday , work this out , when was the last time you stayed in a 5* hotel all inclusive for a family of 4 for less than £2k for 14 nights ??? answers on the back of a 2nd class stamp please .
its obvious it is not a 5* hotel by our standards , but compare it to anything else in kusadasi and it is paradise

Kustur Club Village hotel really does...
3 / 10
Aug 2008, Mrs A Williamson

Kustur Club Village hotel really does not come up to standard, a good 3* at a push. Fixtures and fittings are poor, very "tired" decoration.
The standard of the food was poor, I found that whatever was left over from the evening meal appeared as a salad, cold potato wedges in mayo for example! The crockery was dirty as were the table clothes. I witnessed one person helping themselves to piles of pizza, go to a table to eat it, then what she couldn’t eat she put back in the serving dishes! We were all inclusive but we were only able to get ice cream during an hour slot, and it was only available to the children.
My 10 year old son loved the animation team, they were great fun and made everyone feel involved. The swimming pool was clean, there are a couple of slides that are manned by a lifeguard at all times. The cleaners were very friendly, the maintenance staff were very efficient. I had to call them on a number of occasions to fix the toilet and shower. The receptionist’s were a bit “hit and miss”, sometimes friendly other times extremely rude.
I have never been on an all inclusive package before. I did a lot of research on the Kustur Club before going ahead with my booking, reading reviews from this website and a couple of others and unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I spoke to some guests who had stayed at the Kustur last year and they told me the standards had slipped dramatically. Things that were included in the all inclusive package last year weren’t included this year. If you are looking for a 5 Star this isn’t the hotel for you. I have stayed at a number of 5 Star hotels and this defiantly isn’t one.
