Kustur Club Holiday Village Reviews
" Absolutely brilliant!
FOOD & DRINK - went on all inclusive, the food was amazing. There was a massive choice - i'm vegetarian and i had no problems with the food. Everything you could think of was there, wide variety of cold and hot foods, also BBQ outside. Drinks machines everywhere aswell came in handy. The pool bar and ada cafe were also very useful with a good choice of drinks. The snack bar always had something interesting on - cakes, burgers, crepes etc. Also there was small tent outside where you could get a savoury crepe.
ENTERTAINMENT - day entertainment was great, there was always something to do - archery, gunshot, pool games, darts...everything! The sports facilities were very good as was the games room. Night shows weren't too bad, not great sometimes but overall OK and there was a club to go to inside the resort and one just outside, both of which were great.
ROOMS - 10/10 for cleanliness, no problems with anything. Comfy beds, good size fridge for water etc and decent size bathroom and TV if you have the time to watch it! Air conditioning was very useful - remote controlled for temperature and timing also.
STAFF - overall - great. Animation team were amazing and alot of fun. Cleaners were very friendly and restaurant/bar staff very helpful and provided good, quick service.
The gym has very good machines and weights and alot of choice.
The beach had great sports on all day and was just round the corner.
Overall in my opinion its the best place to go for a holiday! I had the best time and want to go back asap!

Submitted By: Miss H AndersonThe Rooms, were very nice but did not need more than was provided as we didn't spend much time in them (Bar sleeping ofcourse).
The Restaurant, Was fabulous, the waiters were charming and always smiling. They food was good, but we didn't eat much as we were in the pool most of the day and didn't want to look bloated in out bikinis, haha.
Reception, very helpful regarding how many times we locked the key in our rooms and we had to get a poor man to come hiking up to room 502 and 503 to unlock them for us.
The Pool, AMAZING!!! Brilliant The flumes were great fun and the lifeguard was a laugh.
The ANIMATORS! Made the holiday! DJ MARTI AYKAN MURAT NASUH BILLY ANIL AND ALL THE REST OF THE TEAM! Wow, so much fun. Considering we are all young and like 14 - 17, it was a SCREAM! They were such a laugh! Lots of games Lots of jokes and all gave us their emails so we could stay in touch and come back next year!
All in all...
I AM THERE NEXT YEAR!
LOVE YOU ALL :) Hannah x

Submitted By: Miss Cahalette Cahalette ShawThe amphitheatre is amazing! I couldn't believe my eyes, you can sit on it and really experience an old roman structure.
Even though we're young my boyfriend and I felt very safe in Kusadasi and were looked after by the reps who were friendly and there if you needed them!
I'm definitely going back.

We have been to Turkey a couple of times before and always had a great time so expected the same - and we werent disappointed.
We got there on a monday eve and were taken to our family room up in the hills.
This was a disappointment as it was far from anywhere and clearly had been built some years ago. We went back to reception immediately and asked to be moved. The reception manager was great and sorted us out with a fantastic room about 10 secs walk from the main pool. Whilst it could be noisy we were usually out in the noise anyway. It gave the kids the freedom to come and go as they pleased.
Its a very international hotel so dont expect the english to be the dominant culture. Russian, German, Bulgarian, Belgium, french and turkish make up the most. the only down side of this is the kids making friends
Main Pool
It is a big enough pool with slides and a kiddies bit that they could stand up in.
The slides were open from about 10.30, closed for lunchtime and open later on in the afternoon. How busy it was depended on how long they were open for.
The lifeguard was there all the time though I wouldnt necessarily rely on him to watch the kids. He was lovely and great fun but werent ever there when my kids fell over. He did always offer assistance.
Beds - you could get these pretty much any time of the day, if you wanted to be by the baby pool then you needed to be there a bit earlier (say around 9 though it seemed to be getting earlier as it got busier)
We werent fussed and were able to get beds every day pretty much anywhere. Most people didnt reserve their beds for the entire holiday but went with the flow.
Towels - we took one and got given blue pool towels by the hotel. they get changed every three days apparently but we had to ask to get them. you will need two per bed unless you want to stick to the plastic. you can really get as many as you like, at one point we had about 10 (god knows why)
Quiet pool
This was situated a little further away, was quite small but was definately quiet. We didnt go there often but if you dont want to listen to the music pumping out at the main pool then it was a good option. More for kids to play in than any serious swimming.
Beach
Nice beach with same beds. Someone would follow you down and fix the sunbed for you.
Sea was clean though when it got rough there was alot of sea debris that came in. We saw loads of little fish and some bigger fish that swam around your legs - was pretty cool.
There was plenty of watersports though we didnt use them. Jetski was around £25 to take out but dont know how long for.
You can get drinks as part of all inclusive at the beach and there is a shop to buy ice-cream.
Eating - main restaurant
Get there early enough else food could be lukewarm. Good variety of food I thought. typical turkish and always plenty of lovely bread and salad. Dont expect a la carte, its like a canteen as all inclusive is. but we enjoyed it and got to know a few of the waiters which made it a laugh.
Special restaurant
absolutely fabulous - for 2 lira each (about 80p) you could go to the restaurant as many times as you liked. We went for my sons birthday and mine.
It is a 5 course meal served to you with very attentive waiters. Bread just reappears once the plate is finished. Kids enjoyed the chicken kebabs so something suitable for all.
Its situated on the beach up some steps and is outside so you sit there in the peace and watch the sunset. Absolutely beautiful. We paid for birthday cakes that were brought to the tables and whole restaurant sang happy birthday (tip:if you are getting birthday cake, 4-6 size is suitable for about 10 people, we shared it with the entire restaurant in the end)
Entertainment
The animation team are the best entertainers I have ever encountered on holiday. They work so hard from 10 in the morning to 4 the following morning.
Participation is great, despite the fact that we usually shy away from this sort of thing. We spoke to them every day, they are very polite and funny. Always interacting with the kids and adults alike. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
Aykan is the kids entertainer for the mini disco and really is an absolute star. He couldnt have been more friendly (he has english fiancee that he told us about every day!) They do try to sell you stuff such as cd's and t-shirts (they get commission on them obviously) but you can avoid buying if you wish. We got one t-shirt and didnt get hassled to buy anything else
There is a mini disco at 9 (same songs every night but then thats what the kids love) but at the end Aykan got the whole ampitheatre involved in a silly dance. Even my husband did it and believe me that never happens...
After that is the show in the ampitheatre which is anything from Turkish night, games night and animation shows. Some of them were so funny. Audience participation usually required. some of it was a bit risque with kids but no major harm. all shows are done in about 4-6 different languages
Ada Cafe - this is round the back near the "zoo" (got some birds in it...) and this is where you get drinks in glasses instead of plastic cups! generally nice and quiet. it is open 24 hours but after 12 you pay for your drinks.
If you want to be in the thick of it then its best to stay around the pool bar.
Wednesday is market day in Kusadasi where you seriously haggle for everything. not quite as overbearing as other places i have been but you still have to stand your ground. its hot and dusty so be prepared for that. cheap as chips/asda, cheaper than stealing from the salvation army apparently....
lots of bargains to be had but you have to haggle!!!
Adaland - there is a waterpark nearby (5 minutes in taxi) that has quite a few slides. Its expensive and only those children over 10 could go on all the slides. This meant that my 8 year old wasnt able to go on more than about 4.
The food, drinks, extra shows are all expensive (ice-cream not that bad) but my son and husband had a great time.
After June 1 they open the seaworld, rafting and some other area. They dont tell you this before you pay. I think it would be better with these open, as it was we were gone by 2pm (opens at 10am). Apparently its the biggest in Europe.
They have a dolphin show (also expensive) but given that they keep about 10 dolphins in what used to be a swimming pool in the main complex I didnt want to support that so wouldnt go.
The only down side to the holiday was at the weekends they generally hosted events for turkish people which meant that it was extremely busy from around 1pm through to the following afternoon. Could still get a bed by the pool if you wanted but it was very noisy. Beach is quieter or it may be the best time to book that trip.
All in all a brilliant time had, mostly made by the staff and the animation team, thanks everyone.
Everyone was superb and extremely helpful no matter what you wanted.
We will definately go back

I would definitely go back there and we are hoping to meet up with some of the Animation team next year.

Submitted By: Mrs A LangwoodThe Animation team were the best ever, especially Mido, Dima, Ukey, Jimmy, Izzy and Margi. After the disco in the complex we went to the Havana nightclub and some of the animation team came with us as I took 4 teenagers with me. The shows they put on were excellent and we had a scream with them every night. The hotel staff, Kemalettin, Sinan, Mustaffa and Ilham really looked after us. The whole site is spotless and and the rooms are lovely. The food was sometimes boring but you will not go hungry. I would definitely recommend Kustur Club to anyone of all ages. We are hoping to meet up with some of them again next year.

Submitted By: Miss N GomezThere is nothing terrible about this place, however, do not go expecting 5* luxury. I generally expect to drop one star if the rating has been made by the tour operator, but Kustur is no more than a 3*.
There were a couple of problems with our room when we arrived, however, these were dealt with swiftly and this was in spite of our 1am arrival. The accommodation was basic, but comfortable. The cleaning left a lot to be desired. It would seem that the domestic staff only made the effort to clean the bathroom floor on our final day, presumably in the hope that we would leave a tip.
The staff overall were very helpful and friendly, particularly those at reception and the only real annoyance was the number of people trying to sell turkish baths and boat trips when you're sunbathing on the beach.
The food was fine and on the occasions where the option was fish, it was lovely. Like any all inclusive, eventually the repetition starts to grind. The local beer was very nice and I would recommend it.
The beach was the best thing about this holiday. The water was warm and going out on a canoe (included) was lots of fun. Mind the jelly fish! My only real complaint would be the very loud music that the watersports crew seem to enjoy blaring out. It was really just offensive and even at the furthest point away, was still invasive. However if you like crass R n B and Justin Timberlake, you'll be okay.
Overall, the holiday was good, very relaxing and the weather during the day was rarely below 28 degrees C. We also had our 4 month old daughter with us, who was doted on by everyone we came across and who enjoyed conking out on her own sun lounger. I have to say that there were lots of children about and we found everything very easy with the buggy - there are only a few steps to negotiate.
My only advice would be to not pay too much for this resort - it really is only a 3*.

Submitted By: Mr G LEWISThe hotel was very clean, every day they swept and scrubbed everything and everywhere. If we weren’t happy with something they sorted it straight away.
The rooms were great for families. We had 2adults and 2 children still enough room for us all.
The kids club was well run and even managed to encourage my daughter (who is very shy) to join in and have fun. The only down side was the kids disco started at 9, which is too late for the really little ones, that’s it for the moaning.
Back to the plus points, great slides in the water, with life guards (not always seen in turkey),food and drink 24hours a day-you just need to find which bar is open at what time (another plus as most all inc holidays are only 12hour drink time).
All in all a perfect family holiday and cheap!, this is the first time we have ever re-booked to go back somewhere. A little secret we were told is to come back in October as it is still hot not so busy (Turkey not the hotel) and the shops/markets are a lot cheaper.

Mido, Urkan and the rest of the entertainment team were superb!! There was never a dull moment throughout the day.
The pools were great, especially the one with the slides. This was very popular!
The food was typically Turkish but there was plenty of it and the kids enjoyed it.
The complex was spotless and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.
Our room maid was superb, she used to make the towels up into elephant or swan shapes and put rose petals on the beds!! How great is that, it really made a difference.
Negatives:
We booked a family room and my wife has slight mobility problems and so what happened, our room was at the top of the hill. These apartments and the grounds they were in were a bit grotty compared to the other apartments that were in spotlessly clean grounds and all new. Our apartments looked like they had been there for 40 years and never had a touch of paint.
The evening entertainment area was well away from the pool and was like a Greek auditorium, it was okay but there were loads of cockroaches which scared by daughter.
Overall, I would say that despite the poor state of the accomodation, everything was superb. I would recommend the hotel to anyone, whether they have children or not.

Submitted By: Miss J HoweWe spent 2 weeks there and every minute was enjoyable. I have got to say though the entertainment/animation team were the best ever! They were all so funny, friendly, made an effort 24/7 and most of all made you have fun all the time! They would drag you up for pool games; join you for lunch, party with you at night etc...
Absolutely brilliant! I didn’t get bored in the whole 2 weeks, the food didn’t have a wide variety for children, but there was still chicken, pork, beef etc and a wide range of salads.
Food is out all the time whether it is burgers pizza and chips in the day, lunch, cakes, biscuits etc lol..., and soup at 12am... how amazing!
Lol the club on site is ok but very hot! But Havana was unbelievable....especially the foam parties!! Loved them! Well just to say had an excellent holiday and no criticisms... would recommend it to anyone, whatever age! Enjoy!

Plenty of choice for food, and served in different restaurants/cafe's/snack bars 24hrs. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.
As stated by the previous person, it is advisable to either pre-book your late check-out room or an extra night’s accommodation, due to mostly late night/early hours pick-ups, and not enough courtesy rooms.

Submitted By: Mr M PooleOn arrival there was a distinct smell of something not so nice in the air and we thought it may be sewerage and became a little concerned, however this disappeared but occasionally re-appeared now and again over the 2 weeks, but not enough of an issue to really complain.
The complex is in a great location about 10 mins away from main area of Kusadasi on dolmus (1.5 lira) it is made up of apartments and bungalows - all of which are set in lovely well maintained grounds. It has its own stretch of private beach which is sand and shingle.
The beach area is clean and has recently been awarded a blue flag. Motorised watersports are available at a cost ( £8.00 for the banana boat or rings ride and around I think it was £25.00 for jet ski)canoe's and pedal boats are part of the all inclusive package and are readily available - the guys that look after the beach and it's amenities are all friendly and helpful.
There are a number of bars and help yourself drinks stations on the complex, surprisingly the alcoholic drinks were very good especially the draught Efes lager - no real problems having to queue - in fact on the evening there would be a full waiter service, generally the staff with exception of one or two grumps were quite friendly.
We have been on 8 all inc holidays and I have to say the food was probably the worst we have had although you would not starve - it seemed very repetitive and more tailored to the Russian / German guests who make up the vast majority of the people there.
There is quite a good choice of food particularly salads - the deserts though were poor - the best food was between 12.00 and 4pm at the pool ice creams only available for one hour during the day although very cheap at the on-site shop.
Don't let the comments about the food put you off - it is just compared to previous hotels and as I say more than edible.
Rooms are nice and clean and maids are in every single day. Pools were super the slides kept kids happy plenty of sunbeds and chairs.
Entertainment team are good - always something to do with something for everyone, there's a show on every night, won't be to all tastes but worth a look in.
The prices in Turkey are going up and up every year - a full English at the bar / restaurant over the road will set you back 13 lira (£5.00).
We went into Kusadasi central into bar street and a pint bottle of Efes is 7 lira(£3.00) needless to say we did not venture out much but towards the end of holiday went further along the coastal road to Ladies Beach(highly recommended) and found the Sherwood Bar - £2.00 for breakfast and £1.00 a pint - more like the Turkey we love and know! - Friendly staff and lovely food with a great view over the bay.
We love Turkey and the Turkish people it was our first time to this area - I wouldn't completely rule out returning but prefer the Fethiye, Icmeler and Olu Deniz areas.
Overall a good holiday and great value through "On the beach" travel.
" Booked flights and accommodation for... "
Submitted By: cageyPlus... and this was a big plus, Dawson and Sanderson had booked me an extra night's accommodation which was much needed as others had to leave their rooms at midday on the last Thursday, but flight transfers were not picking us up until the early hours of Friday.
Some other people had been told to book their extra day once they arrived ... but rooms could not be had even for substantial amounts of money so I would recommend booking the extra night before you go if your flight times are similar.
Other than the rather difficult flight times we had a great holiday ... Kustur Club is set in very beautiful gardens ... all immaculately kept. It's low rise so felt relaxing and ideal for small children and the rooms were large, well decorated and furnished and clean.
We had a double bed, single and put up bed in our family room and there was still plenty of space to move about.
Hotel kids club was much loved by my 5 and 8 year olds - I didn't want to put them in as I was looking forward to spending time with them ... but there were so many fun things to do that I had to give in!
The place was packed but the food choice and quantity was wonderful. In fact there was so much food everywhere all the time that by the end of the holiday I could barely bear to look at another mouthful.
Local beer was very good, but spirits I have heard were watered down ... didn't bother me, they tasted fine ... but maybe I'm a bit of a lightweight.
Staff were helpful and courteous and we have some stunning holiday photos thanks to the excellent and great value photographers on site.
Highly recommended for young families ... but make sure your travel agent is as on the ball as mine was.

The standard of the food was poor, I found that whatever was left over from the evening meal appeared as a salad, cold potato wedges in mayo for example! The crockery was dirty as were the table clothes. I witnessed one person helping themselves to piles of pizza, go to a table to eat it, then what she couldn’t eat she put back in the serving dishes! We were all inclusive but we were only able to get ice cream during an hour slot, and it was only available to the children.
My 10 year old son loved the animation team, they were great fun and made everyone feel involved. The swimming pool was clean, there are a couple of slides that are manned by a lifeguard at all times. The cleaners were very friendly, the maintenance staff were very efficient. I had to call them on a number of occasions to fix the toilet and shower. The receptionist’s were a bit “hit and miss”, sometimes friendly other times extremely rude.
I have never been on an all inclusive package before. I did a lot of research on the Kustur Club before going ahead with my booking, reading reviews from this website and a couple of others and unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I spoke to some guests who had stayed at the Kustur last year and they told me the standards had slipped dramatically. Things that were included in the all inclusive package last year weren’t included this year. If you are looking for a 5 Star this isn’t the hotel for you. I have stayed at a number of 5 Star hotels and this defiantly isn’t one.
