We stayed at the Marriot Grand Vista at the beginning of July, 2005. We had great time in Orlando and found the Marriot Grand Vista to be a great place to stay. It was central for all the attractions and when we had a day or two at the poolside we were well catered for with the games room for the younger members of the family to the Harbour Bar for the older members. The staff were friendly and our apartment was cleaned daily.

My family arrived at the condo on the 7th late at night. Received a ground floor 2b2b condo. Surprised by all the dead bugs at the entrance also noted a moldy smell throughout the condo. Requested to be moved. We were moved at 1 am to a new location on the 5th level.
Woke up early in the morning and was greated by a cockroach and then another one in the laundry room. (Noted large crack under every single condo door) We were greated by at least a bug or two every single day!!!
Met a family at the pool who had indicated that their condo was full of cockroaches and he complained. He was awarded Disney tickets and a move to another condo as well.
Other than the few friends crawling around, we had a great time in Florida.
I would not return nor would I recommend this timeshare until they deal with their bug problem.
