I’ve come back after spending 2 weeks there and what a 2 weeks it was - I loved it! Best ever, the staff there are crazy people, very helpful and they'd do anything for you! I have 2 small boys and they loved it also.
You could see where they were at all times. The staff was good with them also!
Entertainment was also good, and if we didn't have entertainment on some nights the staff would do it. Dancing etc. which was really good.
Thoroughly recommend it!

My Husband & I chose to celebrate our...
9 / 10
Jul 2007, Mrs Wendy Lawrence

My Husband & I chose to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary in Turkey, staying for a fortnight in Kusadasi at the Opus Aparthotel. This was our first experience of this country and a very enjoyable one, partly due to the warm welcome we received from the management and staff at Opus.
Our accommodation was very clean and spacious, with spruce up and towel change every other day. We opted for half board as it represented good value and, although the choice was limited, we enjoyed a freshly cooked, three course meal each night in addition to the tasty Turkish breakfast every morning (their wine list offers good value, local wines too).
The pool and extensive garden area is a real 'plus point' to this accommodation, (ideal as a tranquil alternative to the busier local beaches, a short journey away by Dolmus) and both guest areas are maintained regularly.
I would say that this accommodation is ideal for couples and families and is very convenient for the local bus station (approx 7 mins walk away), from where all the local sights of historical interest and national park beaches can be reached for a fraction of the cost of the organised tours (you're first in line for a seat too!!). Both Hesna and Murat (on reception) both speak good English, are happy to order you a taxi for the short ride into the town centre and were very helpful with local knowledge, offering advice on excursions.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Opus Aparthotel to anyone, as, in my/our experience, it is well managed, represents very good value for money and I'm in no doubt that we'll be returning there again soon.

The opus is a clean well run hotel....

Oct 2006, Miss C A Lucas

The opus is a clean well run hotel. The staff can not do enough for you, the grounds are beautiful and it has a good size pool. The hotel is out the way but the Dolmus run frequently into the town where there are plenty of shops and pubs. And there is a large supermarket close by. I have been there twice now and would recommend it to most people. It is properly not for the frail as the walk to the main road, saying that taxi's are not expensive and the hotel will sort you one out.

We've just come back from the Opus...

Jun 2006, Miss J Reynolds

We've just come back from the Opus apartments and we thought it was fabulous - the staff couldn't do enough for us and were very helpful informing us about the local sights and travel.
The pool was very big and had loads of sun beds, plus the lovely gardens next to the pool also had more sun beds and tables for eating.
The room was clean and bright and had a balcony, plus we had clean towels and sheets every 2 days.
The hotel is a short dolmus (minibus) ride away from town - it's a very short walk to the main road and then every dolmus that passes seems to go in to town - we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes before we got picked up. Plus the hotel is right near the coach/bus station so it's easy to get a dolmus to places like Ephesus, Pamucak and Selcuk, rather than going into town and then trying to find the right dolmus.
Don't go on the expensive tours to Ephesus - they charge on average 40 euros per person. We got the local dolmus there and back from the bus station near the hotel (1.5 euros per person each way) and then getting in was another 5 euros per person, plus we didn't have to follow a tour group round, not being able to stop and look at things when we wanted.
All in all, having talked to other people we met during the week, we counted ourselves very lucky to have gone to the Opus Apartments. Loads of people go back there each year, so it must be doing something right!

We booked a last minute holiday in...

Jan 2006, Mrs M Kahraman

We booked a last minute holiday in October 2005 to stay in the Opus Apartments in Kusadasi. We have been to Kusadasi many times but I have to say that this was definitely one of the best accommodations that we have stayed in.
The rooms were lovely and clean and also very spacious. The apartments themselves were very well presented and very well looked after. The grounds to the apartments were lovely and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. All of the gardens and the play areas were ideal for families with children, there was also a football pitch and a mini zoo which kept the children occupied.
The swimming pool was very clean and well looked after. The only thing that I can fault the Opus on was that the pool was absolutely FREEZING, but maybe this would be a good thing in the really hot summer months.
I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a good relaxing holiday and I will certainly being trying to book again for this year.

(Joan@mcmole.freeserve.co.uk)...

Sep 2005, Mrs J McFarlane

(Joan@mcmole.freeserve.co.uk) Enjoyed our holiday very much apartment very clean, staff were very helpful and manager worked hands on. Sheets were changed every two days with towels. Restaurant Menu is very reasonable but the same choice most nights. There is entertainment on odd nights The apartments are basic 2 ring cooking facilities, no kettle, no microwave, no toaster. One pot one frying pan. We like doing self catering and only have breakfast in the apt. so that suited us. No fresh milk in Turkey only Long Life milk. Pool is great and has a children’s pool.
If anyone leaves lilos etc they are left for others to use. Sun loungers are washed every day and mats removed every night and replaced every morning. Air conditioning in apartment at extra cost together with safety box. Supermarket only few minutes away and if you enjoy walking it is only 10 minutes to town walking to the right and going down behind Dolmus/Bus station and across dual carriageway to see Cruise ships which come in every day. WE also walked to Ladies Beach which is a bit longer but the Dolmus bus takes you most places and to all beaches 5 to 20 minutes and cost from 60 pence upwards and stop anywhere for you to get on or off.
Silver Sands Beach is very nice for older or couples with young children. We got good price for hotel through Goldtrail and was well worth the money. Internet access is free in Hotel. Many books to read and exchange at Reception. We will certainly go back.

I booked this hotel after reading...
10 / 10
May 2005, Ms J Moorman

I booked this hotel after reading reviews from people that stayed here last year. The reviews I read were full of praise for the helpful staff and the clean rooms.
There are no words to describe how wonderful everything has been. My 7-year-old son has played safely in the gardens and the play area. The pool as overlooked by the bar so when we are relaxing we can still keep an eye on him.
The rooms are large and well furnished. They are cleaned often and sheets changed every other day. I have stayed many times a Turkey and this has been the best by far.
The food as excellent and very reasonable. It was so easy to catch a dolmus to the center to be an the middle the action - so easy to get away!
The staff could not do more for us - we have asked for extra blankets - they are there.
If you are thinking about the Opus - do not just think - do at. You wall not be disappointed.

The service at the Opus Apartments is...
10 / 10
May 2005, Mrs E Rıce

The service at the Opus Apartments is first class. I have travelled with 2 children and the facilities for the children are excellent.
I spend all day saying thank you as the staff are wonderful and cannot do enough to help. The apartments are extremely clean and would rival many hotels in England for cleanliness.
I have read some comments on this website saying the Opus Apartments are the opposite of the above however I would suggest this person has never stayed in a decent Turkish hotel before because the comments are not true.
I have nothing but praise for the staff and management. A fab place to visit and beautiful surroundings making at a safe environment for families.
First class place and a good holiday base to venture into Kusadasi town centre. I will be back!
