" This hotel is in a great location by... "

This hotel is in a great location by the river side and just a short walk from all the main areas and with a hop on hop off bus stop right outside. The rooms are well equiped and well serviced and there is live entertainment every night in the hotel the staff are friendly and attentive who will do all they can to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The breakfast is really good with a wide choice to suit all tastes and really sets you up for the day. A special mention to the lady who bosses the breakfast sittings she is everything that Irish tourism should aspire to be, she treats old customers as long lost friends and new customers as new best friends what a diamond and she is much loved by the staff yes breakfast at the Arlington is a happy time I enjoyed my stay and will certainly return.

" We stayed the Arlington for 3 nights... "

We stayed the Arlington for 3 nights in early September 2006 & had a great time. Although the hotel décor is now a bit tired and could do with tidying up everything else was fine.

The best thing about the hotel is the great location – Temple Bar is just across the river, shops are a few minutes away in both directions & the tourist buses stop directly outside.

We found staff to be friendly & helpful and the breakfast was good quality. We enjoyed the Irish Dancing entertainment at the hotel & a good atmosphere in the bar.

We had a room on the top floor towards the back of the hotel & we had a peaceful night’s sleep every night!

I would happily recommend this hotel to others planning a trip to Dublin

" We really enjoyed our stay at the... "

We really enjoyed our stay at the Arlington and got a really good deal, so we were surprised how nice the hotel was when we got there.

It's right on the river, near to the centre and our room (which was at the front of the hotel) looked over the river. The room itself was large, with a sofa and a huge bed!

Entertainment was provided free every night by the hotel - get in early to get a seat as it gets really busy and the bar is open to the public as well. We stayed for 2 nights, and saw Irish dancing and music.

I wasn't so keen on the breakfast that was provided, but managed to get by ok - my partner really enjoyed it as lots of black pudding etc. We both stayed away from the eggs though (if it was eggs! A bowl full of what looked like solid scrambled egg - didn't try it!).

We stayed for lunch one day, and that was really nice. A roast with all the trimmings which was served canteen style.

Overall, this hotel was in a really good location (go out of hotel and turn left for the main street/ O’Connell’s bridge turn left at the bridge for sightseeing buses, buses to the airport and the needle. Cross over the bridge to get to Temple Bar) and was very reasonably priced.

Just a shame it rained every day!

" Hotel is in a medieval theme,... "

Hotel is in a medieval theme, excellent setting by the banks of river everything within walking distance. Temple bars just over the bridge O,Connell St is just round the corner, breakfast choice was good on a buffet style so you could eat as much or little as you liked.

Food in restaurant was of high standard the roast beef melts in your mouth! There is entertainment every night and I would advise to reserve table though for cabaret night which includes music, comedy and traditional Irish dancing - well worth booking for. Staff very friendly as are all Dubliners are. I have been to this hotel 4 times and will keep coming back
