Grass Apartments are situated just off the main square in Icmeler and are at the side of the Hob Nob Bar.
Owned by Salman and His wife they both along with the rest of the staff gave us the perfect service.
There are 12 apartments all having either a road or pool view.
When we were there in March there had just been a complete re-furbishment of the apartments, new floor and bathroom tiles new shower and toilet facilities.
Our room which had two large balconies overlooking the pool had 1 bedroom sleeping two people and a pull down bed in the lounge also sleeping two.
Each apartment has an air conditioning unit in the bedroom as well as a wall safe (charge payable locally)
We had plenty of storage space, cupboards and wardrobes.
All self catering facilities for 4 people are suplied, kettle, electric hob and fridge but we did take our own toaster.
We had the use of a large pool with a good sunbathing area and 18 sunbeds (could be a problem in high season) and drinks with English Breakfasts were avaliable from the Hob Nobs bar which itself has gone through a complete refurb ready for the new season.
We are going back in May Home from Home.

Having visited several countrys and still not finding our perfect holiday resort, friends pointed us in the direction of Turkey. We visited a few resorts and found the people so friendly and obliging among the places we first visited were Side, Olu Deniz,Hisaronu and Fethye. Still not finding that magical thing that we were searching for we stumbled on Icmeler. It was love at first sight, the people, mountains the mixture of old and new. A picturesque Canal over which wooden arched bridges spanned, and in an evening, fairylights that adorned these bridges were lit up. Little shops either side of the canal selling their wares with their lights glowing gives the whole area a fairytale look. Our family was hooked, we have been going for a few years now,and we still get the goose pimples as we view Icmeler for the first time on our return visits
Holiday Review 4th-18th April08
On our first night it was raining heavily, but we ventured out. Well among all the darkness and dereliction, like a flower blooming in the desert,we could see the bright lights of the "Friends Bar" We sat near this huge log fire, had a few beers, were entertained by the music, waiters dancing, juggling and a great breakdance group. The hospitality was second to none. Has we sat here drinking and laughing it seemed that we had never been away. That time had stood still. There had been no winter. "We were Home"
The first 3 days were heavy rain and very cold at night, but because of Anns forthought in bringing an hot water bottle we managed with the aid of the heating system and a few blankets to keep warm at night and slept like "bugs in a rug". The Kagools were also a godsend as we flitted from bar to bar in the driving rain keeping us dry. The next 11 days though were superb with very high temperatures as the days got hotter as the time passed by. Lots of changes as you all know but still a lot of work to be done to the bars and the new promenade. As the days went by more bars openend Icmeler was begining to blossom again.
We met lots of old friends who are all looking foreword to the new season with an heightened expectancy that this year is going to be something special.
We also met Chelsea Boy outside the Dream as we partook of our lunchtime Efes.
Had a superb breakfast at ZaZas Havana Bar, I was the first they practised on.
Andre thrashed ZaZa on the Nintendo WII golf game but lost against him at boxing, I think the extra weight was an advantage.
Most bars and restaurents still arent doing main meals due to the chefs not yet being in the resort but will do snack meals exceptions being,
Masala
LoveBoat
Friends
3(4)Bells
Las Vegas
Florida
So you see plenty of restaurents to choose from.
Sunday lunch at the Florida including chocolate pancake 20YTL. £8
I never managed a pint of my beloved draught Efes as no bars sold it due to its poor shelf life (a couple of days) there being not enough customers.
So I had to drink Tuborg draugh beer and have been opologising to my taste buds ever since.
Prices in resort.
Tuborg 3.50 YTL
Efes Lge Bottle 3.50 YTL
Coke in bars(Small) 3YTL Coke in Tansas 1ltr 1.9YTL
Milk ltr 2.5 in local shop 1.89 in Tansas
Water 5ltrs 2.5 YTL
Coffee 2.50-3.00
Chicken Dishes 16 YTL
Steak Dishes 20 YTL
Hamburger + Chips 6YTL
Sliced Toastin Bread 2.5YTL
Large Cobs 0.5YTL
These prices are all similair to last year so no rises at the moment and the Lira to the pound is stronger than it was.
This year was a one off due to major works on the Harrys site and also the improvements? to the promenade,so next year wont be as bad or then again will it?
We had a fantastic holiday with beautifull weather.
We got our tickets for the next holiday they arrived yesterday, but still have 5 weeks to wait.
Now were did I put those pictures?

Stayed at Grass Apartments for 2 weeks in June. Salman who runs the apartments and the Hob Nob Bar is a good friend of ours. The apartment we stayed in (No 8) was large and kept beautifully clean by Salmans wife. The apartments have all the facilities you need and are also air-conditioned.
The pool is large enough for 12 apartments and we never had a problem getting a sun-bed.
All the staff are very friendly and if you get chance go on the weekly boat trip on a Saturday. Great fun - not to be missed!
We are looking forward to going back on the 10th Sept.

Booked 3 apartments at Grass in September 2005. Other family members also booked 3 apartments at the same time. The Hob Nob bar is a bit noisy until midnight each night ... but this is not really a problem.
Overall very good clean accommodation. The lady who cleans the apartments is called Nez. She deserves special mention. Clean towels and sheets every day. Her young son (Emre) was there also, when not at school.
I would certainly stay at these apartments again.

We arrived at the Grass Apartments in the early hours of the morning and were shown to our room, which was of the great standard we have come to expect in Icmeler. Spotlessly clean, and well prepared, we settled in for a few hours kip.
The apartments are part of a bar complex (Hob Nob Bar) which played very loud music till around 12.30am, even though the bar was virtually deserted every night. The music was not a real problem as we were either out or extremely tired and oblivious the volume, but it might prove a problem for families with small children.
Another problem was that the pool area only has room for 18 sunbeds. With fourteen rooms this was always going to be a problem. And in true British style, all the sunbeds had towels on them by 8.00am each morning, with not a single person in sight by the pool. This was not a problem for us, however, as we spent all our time at the Alvaro Apartments pool, but again it might be a very big problem for other families.
I think that there needs to be a policy of removing all towels from sunbeds until people actually use them, allowing everyone to have fair use of the limited resources.
Overall, I don’t think I would stay at the Grass Apartments again, because of the noise issues. I do think that the fact that the bar was virtually deserted most nights, indicates that the Hob Nob bar has extremely limited appeal, and I think this needs to be addressed.

Hello
I stayed in these apartments in June this year for two weeks, there was three of us all together. There was two balconies over looking the road which we preferred can have good nosey as everyone!
The wonderful maid came in everyday and put away the bed away in the lounge and made up the two in the bedroom. She tried to teach us Turkish everyday!
The pool is just right size with enough beds and it wasn’t to busy either so us girls could frazzle in the sun!
Great position in the centre round the corner from the beach and the canal.
Recommend to anyone families, couples and friends!
Ps booked with Icmeler travel centre
