Submitted By: Mrs K YoungWe arrived about 3 o clock and waited to collect our keys, luckily ours was ready but some other people ended up waiting till gone 5! Got to our 'upgraded chalet' and what a disappointment, having 3 children children 2 of whom are fully grown teenage boys, I wondered where we were going to put them! Then the stench!! I have to admit it did get worse as time went on! Kitchen a dump, sofa looked like it was 50 years old and new bathroom my hat!!! Brixham was fabulous as we spent as much time there as we could. Please do read these reviews and take notice of them because I so wish I had. I have also sent a copy of this to the Sun and hopefully if enough people do this then no one should ever have to stay in that hell hole ever again!!!!!

THE DIRTIEST PLACE I EVER SPENT THE NIGHT,IT SHOULD COME WITH A GOVERMENT HEALTH WARNING.

Submitted By: Miss S WelchI prefer the new way bingo is played as it gives adults and children an equal advantage as their is no age limit. iu also thing the entertainment has got better. i really enjoyed the blues brothers last night (satuarday 31st may). It was well rehersed and performed excedently well. I also enjoyed the entertainment non-stop, it was suitable for all ages and the party dances were the best. What made it even more better was the fact the Chris and Declan took the mick out of each other and no feelings were hurt and it was pure entertainment. I aslo thought that the bluez girls were really good at providing the dancing to go along with the entertainment. I also thought Criag was entertaining, as last night was our last nite and when most of the entertainment had finished he wanted request for songs, and me and my step-sister was talking to him and he didn't tell us to leave him alone or anything he was talking back and asking us for reguests.
i would like to thank wall park for making this holiday enjoyable, even without it being pontins, they will succed if they keep up the great entertainment and the tideness of the holdiay site. i will be for certain returning.

" I have just returned from Wall Park... "
Submitted By: j11cenI had read the reviews on trip advisor and the holiday watchdog site and thought it can't be that bad so took some cleaning stuff and off we went......HOW WRONG CAN YOU BE!!!!
We arrived at 9 Friday night and got apartment 265, the windows were rotten, the carpet could have walked out on it's own as it was so dirty, the sofa bad you wouldn't let your dog sleep on and the radiators smelt like it was burning last years guests!!!!!!
It stunk of urine but we we're so tired after our journey we used a can of air freshener and went to bed.
The following morning we all woke at 6 to be again met by the horrid smell and thought we'll have breakfast and then complain at reception. The cooker was so dirty my sisters were almost sick. Once we got to reception they moved us, no questions asked, almost like they were used to it. The new apartment was still very smelly but an improvement on the 1st (not hard though really). We decided to stay and put up with it as Brixham it's self was lovely and only as we had plug in air fresheners. However one of my sisters still returned home as she feared for her health!!
The only thing good about the place was the staff, all very friendly but maybe they were compensating for the state of the place. Since returning home I have washed everything in my case even stuff we didn't wear as everything stunk so bad I was worried of contamination!!!!!!
If you think I'm exaggerating go, but you have been warned!!!!

" Give the place a break! It's not... "
Submitted By: Mrs V HillThe entertainment was admittingly, a little stale.... But the enthusiasm of the staff was contagious! Corny dance routines and bad jokes seemed to be the order of the evening, but boy was it good fun. The Blue 'Shirts' (as they are now called as the park no longer belongs to the Pontins group) were enthusiastic, lively and friendly. Especially Chris and Adrian!
They had a well stocked shop, selling everything you could possibly need, at quite reasonable prices. (From looking around the average mark up seemed to be about 10-20p).
The swimming pool isn't as good as it looks in the pictures, but again, ample for the needs of the park. Well supervised and an outdoor pool for the warmer weather.
All in all we had a wonderful time! Regular entertainment throughout the day for both adults and kids alike. Friendly and helpful (albeit a little dimwitted) staff, and a beautiful park to stay in. There was not one single piece of rubbish to be seen around the site the whole time I was there.
One big plus for me was that there was absolutely no vehicle access anywhere near our chalets (which admittingly was a little frustrating when arriving/departing) but it meant the kids could play outside without the worry of traffic coming through. (Which is something I have never found in similar resorts).
On the whole. A fun budget holiday for all the family!

Submitted By: Mrs R HollMyself, my husband and our one year old, were allocated a one bedroom (twin) apartment with what can only be described as an old fashioned dangerous pull out sofa bed in living/kitchen area which was far from comfortable. To make matters worse while you were laid down on the bed, directly above you was some sort of sky light with a mass of dead flies, moths, spiders and goodness knows what else.
The only good thing about this place was the surrounding area of Brixham, Torquay and Paignton. I will never ever for as long as I live put myself and my family in that position. We have been on loads of Sun Holidays in the past and the one place I would go back to was a place called Hoburn in Paignton it was stunning clean site, and beautiful vans. Perhaps it’s about time whoever Mr Pontins is, needs to have a little look at his sites, I will never book any Pontins ever again and I would seriously urge anyone not to bother. There are so many other nice sites to go to around the South Devon area. Pontins ought to be bulldozed!

Submitted By: Mrs P DaviesArrived on 29th oct ready for check in was praying we wouldn’t be staying in surf city but what did we get, 2 chalets there next door to eachother. Hadn’t told my friend about my concerns as didn’t want to worry her too, but there was nothing to worry about.
We stayed in the classic accommodation bit small but the main thing it was really clean very happy with it. 2 adults and 1 child staying in each was happy to let them run back and forth even though they are only 4.
People very friendly there (most of them welsh which goes to show we`re the most friendly lol) blue coats done a brill job, loads of entertainment all day and night, only problem was had to carry our luggage from a car park. Would definitely book again.

" What a God forsaken place, it is like... "
Submitted By: Mr M SonghurstIt may have been a £38.00 Sun holiday but even that was over priced, we stuck it for one night and then headed for home. Can somebody tell George Bush that they are making weapons of mass destruction there (probably in the filthy carpets) so that he will invade it and wipe it off the face off the earth. The disabled parking spaces all 3 of them are nowhere near where they should be and all had non disabled cars in them. When I stopped as close as I could to the chalet to let my disabled son out I was shouted at by one of the staff and told you'd better shift that now!
Overall the place is a dump and the 1/10 rating is more than it should be, don't even think about going there this place is the holiday from hell!!
