Well when we went there, there was no welcome from any of the staff, and we had to make our own way to the reception which was located 3 flights of stairs upwards simply as there were building works in the main entrance.

We had no idea how to get to the chalet for when we got to it, it simply wasn’t worth staying we only did cause of our little boy loved the characters there, we go to Pontins wall park shortly and it had better be good.
We are a family of 5 and stayed at Pontins Camber in July 2005. We had a 1 bedroom classic apartment which had been newly decorated and was ok, however the curtains in the apartment were old and disgusting. They looked like they had never been cleaned and were nicotine stained but tat was our only complaint with the apartment although it was very basic.

There was lots to do and keep you entertained and the kids loved it. But there was something missing in regards to the atmosphere in the upstairs venue, there was very little audience participation and no encouragement from the bluecoats to join in. In all this holiday was ok but not great, I don’t think I would return to this park again personally I prefer Haven.
The entertainment I think is excellent and the bluecoats always want you to get up and join in. The bluecoats are very friendly and always say hello, they love it when you do the sillyeoke (karaoke) or a quiz in the Lunars bar. I always make loads of friends there. The kids love the characters. Camber is the sort of place for fun not luxury.
