Silver Springs Moran Hotel

Stayed at this hotel two years ago for a long weekend. The hotel in general was good, decor in the lobby very nice and the bar and restaurant decor couldn't be faulted all having a classy look and feel. The food was o.k. well presented but I has steak on two occasions which was tough but all other meals were generally good. I booked this hotel for one night for a family of 5 as it was a reasonably good deal for August in a nice hotel. Actually it was the perfect choice. For tourists the location of the hotel is not ideal. It is on a busy road in an industrial part of town. For us it was fine as we were just passing through Cork for one night. The lobby, bar and restuarant are all lovely, modern and contemporary and very 4*. The rooms let the hotel down a bit. They are 80's style dated with an avocado suite in the bathroom.
