Oh where do I start I can't explain what a fantastic week we had. It was amazing they really do work hard the hotel staff, animation team, cleaners and everyone else who I haven't mentioned.
We arrived on the 8th of June at 1:00am in the morning the reception were very helpful and polite the man carried our suitcases up to our room on a trolley were they dropped them outside your room so you didn't have to carry them yourself. Then we settled in to our room and they said if you go down now you can get something to eat before it closes so you are always guarnteed to get something before 2:00am. We had a pool view and it was gorgeous you could see the beach, sea and scenery it was amazing. But we had to ask for pool view at the travel agents especially.
You can not fault the food i am the most fussiest eater in the world but there is something for everyone and it changes everynight. the al-a-carte restaraunts are really good also but make sure you have not planned anything after your meal as you are there for well over 1.30 hours and plus you cant walk as you are so full.
The Turkey and Chicken at lunch time is to die for.
There is a local market which comes on a wednesday night to the hotel and to the town which is to the left of the hotel past la blanc on a saturday all day. the best place to get your fakes for a bargain price "cheaper than asda and primark" as they say.
The spa is fantastic and things are free to use such a steam and sauna. paul is great and very nice to talk to - he has been there 5 years so knows alot about the resort and people.
The entertainment team are fantastic and work really hard day and night some of the shows they put on, on a night are out of this world and really entertaining - they all came from the hotel next door....
Things that have changed this year in the hotel- is that the internet is not longer free which is annoying as it was last year but when it was free it was full of kids messing around and you had to wait for ages. The fish rest had been re-decorated, snack bar is now near the pool bar.
All in all it is a fab holiday and dont let any review put you off as you wont regret going. we cant wait to go next year and are looking to book now....
- Advice: we are booking it for next year already so that is how good it is.

Aegean Dream Resort was the best holiday I had ever been to. I went to Gumbet last year but nothing can compare to this, I mean Gumbet was good but this was so much better.
It was a dream for me, every morning waking up to know that I was there it felt amazing, The waiters were amazing and friendly, especially Selcuk and Yakup they were funny. Gokhan was the one who does the albatros boat trips he was really funny.
- Advice: It was amazing you should go we have already booked to go again next year.
- Activities: Turgutreis Saturday market and the bars in the centre of Turgutreis.

The overall experience was great. Hotel and room superb, weather sunny and warm, food was absolutely fine (this is a Frenchman speaking!!). All the staff at the hotel were friendly and made the stay a thouroughly enjoyable one. Possibly the best holiday I have had with Caroline and Leon. We want to go back next year and cannot wait to book asap.
The guy teaching diving is really friendly and helpful and will give you a deal if you respect him, and do not mess him about. The boat trip (Albatros) was great fun and the sea blue and transaparent. I like the fact we were able to chose from three other restaurants offering Turkish, Italian and Fish at the hotel. View from the resturants and bars was to die for, with a superb sunset nightly. I must stop, or I will get depressed remembering I am back in the UK, and it's grey and miserable weather.

Just come back from this fantastic hotel thur 21.05.09. It was the best hotel my hubby and I have ever stayed in. It was abit overwhelming at first as it is really big and lots of floors, bars, restaurants, but after a day we got our bearings and was fine. The welcome was warm, helpful and friendly. Our room on the 3rd floor right next to the Starlight bar was excellent, modern, spacious and comfortable with lovely views of Kos. (we had a couple of early nights for excursions and the music was a quiet muffle in the background, not enough to keep us awake tho. The animation team were fab, the nightly shows were brilliant and very entertaining. You must take part in the hotel dance!!! The lengths to which this hotel goes is amazing, for the aladdin show, they got camels and goats. For the turkish night, a band, belly dancers and lots of turkish pipes. The food was very good, although some were not clearly marked as to what they were, but we got stuck in and it was very nice. Only gripe was when sitting around the pool, the staff promoting the spa came around a few times and the guy selling the boat trips came around every day, just wanted to be left alone to soak up the sun really, but they were friendly and chatty enough. You couldn't fault the staff, the plates and empty glasses were constantly collected, they just wanted to wait on you, the hotel was cleaned up every day, even the sand on the private beach was raked every night. We even went to the kids disco as well as the adults as the music was a giggle, defo check out the night club in the basement.

We could not fault this Hotel at all. It was amazing.
We took our 3 year old daughter who had so much fun in the Kids Splash pool
(which has a canvas cover to keep the sun off), the towel exchange was used to
full effect.
The food was the best all inclusive we've ever had. We never eat off site during
our two week stay.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
Would recommend to anyone.

We arrived early in the morning and all we wnated was nice comfy bed to have a sleep! We were not disapointed. Room was clean, spacious and bed was comfy! Slept for a few hours and woke up to admire our sea view. Definatly worth paying the extra!
Food was good - Breakfast pancakes cooked outside were fab. Lots of things to try they cook things differently so don't expect a proper full english if you want that stay in England! Lunch and dinner included plenty of variety 8 hot dishes inside the restaurant and BBQ on the go on the terrace. We tried things we would never normally try be brave and try things! (you can just go and get something else if you don't like it!)
Italian restaurant def worth a try 6 courses!
Starlight bar was nice and chilled with a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea bit windy tho! The staff were friendly and took time to chat. Cocktails and champagne were all inclusive, we felt very posh sipping champagne all night over looking the sea!
No need to brings towels as they are provided, sitting on the jetti is beautiful and very quiet compared to the pool. You have steps leading off to cool off in the sea.
10 mins into Town which has shops, bars and restaurants. We went out one night for dinner just to try somewhere and was very cheap about £20. Tash's bar worth a look. Tash has run it for 20 years and will always come and sit and chat with you. Good atmosphere.
This was my 5th time to Turkey and my husbands 2nd time. We got engaged on Marmaris beach last October and wanted to come back to Turkey for our honeymoon. It didn't let us down. Check out our picture to see how beautiful it is.

This was out 2nd year at this hotel and alot has changed since we first went GOOD CHANGES....
we arrived on the 3rd of june at 6am after requesting ground floor, 2 rooms and sea view we we given 3rd floor, sea view but a room to share between 4 adults and 1 child - we asked to move straight away and ended up in 2 rooms directly opposite reception but one of the handles on the patio door was broken so we asked if we could move as we wanted to unpack and get sorted to start catching the sun. they said that we would have to wait till 12 till a room came avil but after shouting and telling them we paid good money to be there we got what we wanted in the anex which is lovely very quite it feels like a hotel on its own over looking a private pool and the sea....
You can not fault the food i am the most fussiest eater in the world but there is something for everyone and it cahanges everynight. the al-a-carte rests are really good also but make sure you have not planned anything after your meal as you are there for well over 1.30 hours and plus you cant walk as you are so full.

There is a local boat - ghost boat which goes daily from the la blanc sales people come round trying to sell you tickets its a fantastic day trip but be careful as we wanted and were promised rabbit island andother couple we promised turtle beach but we didnt go to any we actually did the same trip that we had booked the day we arrived with thomas cook - 4* family cruise. Also be careful as the drinks are very very over priced and they keep asking if you want more and more.
They also own and work at the brother bar which is a really good night out they really look after you there.
Check out - we were due to leave the hotel at 11.30pm and was hoping to get a room so we could get changed and showered before we left we found it a sham that the latest we could keep a room till would be 4 and that we would have to pay for this. if we wanted a shower and to get changed we would have to use the spa which is not the nicest place to get showered as you have to quie and get changed in front of everyone so i recomend you dont get a late flight home.... Or pay £20 to get a room all day and night right on the hotel opposite la blanc.
The spa is fantastic and things are free to use such a steam and sauna. paul is great and very nice to talk to - he has been there 5 years so knows alot about the resort and people.

we have recently returned from this hotel, we had a lovely sea view room in the annex, the hotel was in a good location, entertainment was good, my daughter enjoyed the kids club, staff were friendly, but in my opinion the choice and standard of food let the hotel down, the breakfast was lovely, lunch ok ish but evening meal was very limited, most of the desserts were turkish, the main meal was turkey all the time as well as fish or boney lamb, we never had any beef or steak, lots of salads every day, always the same so it got very boring, kids menu at night was only 4 items and that was after lots of us complained for the first 5 days there was no kids meals, so my daughter lived on boiled rice or bread for the first 5 nights. we wouldnt return to this hotel unless the food improved, although we did enjoy our hotel as turgurtreis is lovely.

This was the 2nd year I had been to this hotel, and this year brought all the family - 12 of us ranging in age from 2-69, and everyone agreed it was the best holiday ever. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful and everywhere is kept spotlessly clean. We were unhappy with our rooms upon arrival - ground floor, and asked to be moved straight away and this was done - so we had 2 rooms on 2nd and 2 on 3rd floors with lovely sea views.
The food is very good, lots of chicken. Breakfast selection very good, fresh omlettes and fried eggs very tasty from chef outside. The food cooked outside on BBQ is delicious, especially fresh whole tuna! The salads are delicious. Deserts are different -be careful if you have nut allergy as nearly everything had nuts or coconut on it. The different cocktails are scrummy and we found the local beer and alcohol in the hotel superb.
Since last year the Annexe has been refurbished and looks really nice. The Turkish restaurant is now by the slides and is nice - we ate there. Also ate at Italian and Fish restaurant - both good but you need to book day before and queue in reception from 9.30. The pool bar now has snacks (pizza, pasta, chips) and where it used to be on the beach last year is now another restaurant where you can pay for food but get drinks free. We had english breakfast one day which was nice. Hotel now has free icecreams every other day.
The staff in the spa - Paul, Ayse, Buket and the team are really nice and it is well worth having a turkish bath with facial mask and back massage. Prices are very reasonable. We had quite a lot of treatments - manicure, pedicure, mud scrub, hot stones.
The kids club was fantastic - thanks to Stevie and Shelley - they kept the children occupied with loads of various competitions, taking them to cinema in the afternoons, and at the kids disco at 9pm each night. We found it a very safe environment for children. The water slides are fab for adults & kids. Banana boat, pedaloes, canoes all free and well worth a try.
Animation team very good - now all returned to Agean Dream from hotel La Blanche next door - Olga, Bibo, Vova, Samir, Gala, Yakuza and Alex. They put a lot of effort into the shows. Bar staff helpful and Starlight Bar has such fantastic sunset views. Hello to Ercan who served us most evenings. Wednesday night is Turkish night, market around pool. Also had beach party. Fireworks. Saturday is market day in Turgetries - good bargains if you barter - 3 pairs ladies shoes for £10, 7 mens t-shirts £10. We only took English money with us and that was fine. Everywhere takes English, Euro or Turkish. You have a free safe in your room to keep valuables/money in. No need to take towels as you get them provided for the beach. Save your weight for taking goodies home from the market. Prom being refurbished. Airport very strict on overweight and very expensive have to pay in English so beware. Our cases were ok!! Excursions reasonable priced - some of our group (not kids) went to Ethesus and Pamukkale but very long day and early start. Worth seeing though.
Well what more can I can say except this hotel is a true dream and we are already looking to re-book for next year. Its Gold Star rating for 2006 & 2007 is well deserved!

This is an update from from previous review:- We stayed at this hotel last year it was the first time that we had been all inclusive normally opting to stay self catering. In hindsight it was a mistake. When we arrived we were given the wrong rooms we had booked family room got given twin this took four days to resvolve. The entertianment was non existent 3 shows in 2 weeks. The food was always the same and at times recycled from lunchtime espec the salads,at times the food was barely luke warm. The food in the second week was disgusting there were fried coated chicken on the menu for 4 night an the trot. The drinks at the hotel consisted of Efes beer and very limited sprits and i mean limited they couldnt even make cocktails they were advertising, no fruit juices were available even to buy.
In the second week of our holiday 2 of our party were ill with stomach cramps and diareahia and had to have medical assistance and needed to be put onto IVs for over two hours, they wasnt the only 2 people, there were others that to have treatment as well. We complained to the rep and made a report out stating everything that had happened during our stay.
We had a conversation with the customer service manager at the hotel he told us that the hotel should have closed 2weeks before we had arrived and that the tour ops keep them open, this I can believe as most of the hotels around the resort were closed, maybe this is why that alot of the staff had a couldnt careless attitude.
On return to the UK I complained to the tour operator about our holiday, they wasnt interested saying that it was the hotels fault about the entertainment so basically they passed the buck. The tour operator passed our case to thier solicitor as it involved an illness bearing in mind that we went last october we have only just found out what they are doing and WHAT A SURPRISE NOTHING they stated that my ilness could have been picked by an airborne virus the person i spoke to actually mentioned the norovirus which takes 48hrs to incubate in the body and as i was in the second week of my holiday then surely i must have contracted it at the hotel, as we never went out the hotel to eat or drink. She also stated that no one else had complanined about theier hoilday which is fact wrong as I have learned from reading other peoples reviews from last year. So if i were you then i would serioursly think about booking this hotel.

Our family of 4 thought this hotel was above average but not the 5 star as advertised, the waterslide pool is grubby and too shallow in need of update (accident waiting to happen), all in, all a good holiday.
