Hotel Isaacs Cork

This really is a great hotel. Very central. A five minute walk to Patrick's street and all the main shops, etc. Cute seperate little sitting room with tv. Big bathroom with power shower and every thing was spotlessly clean. The reception staff were very friendly. The waterfall just outside was fantastic. You can sit beside it on the decking and have a drink after a hard days shopping and feel like you're away from the city. Had dinner in both Greenes restaurant (had to book in advance as so popular locally but worth it) and isaacs own restaurant which has a similar menu but equally good. Was a little sceptical cos of other reviews but it really was good. Car parking not included with internet rate but i parked for 48 hours in nearby multi story and when i said i was an isaacs guest only paid 30 euro. Friends recently stayed in gresham metropole across the road and isaacs was far more impressive with a bigger room for a cheaper rate. Only complaint is lumpy pillow but i guess thats the luck of the draw and a small complaint. Recommend this hotel for the staff and great location but most of all the fabulous waterfall.
