Just returned from Ilias studios after two weeks of total relaxation! Despite warning in brochure to expect road noise, which in fact turned out to be for a few hours at night.
Accommodation was clean and pool area was clean too, only downside was pool bar not working!
I would recommend Ilias studios for a good value, cheap, basic holiday but we did have to pay 70 euro locally for air conditioning!

A peaceful and get away from the crowds holiday, still retaining the traditional Greek charm. Panormos is a small resort with an uncrowded beach and a limited selection of Tavernas to spend your evenings in. The Iliias benefit from a nice pool and a small terrace area. accommodation is best described as simple and you can have air conditioning if you pay extra for it. Ideal for an old fashioned authentic Greek Island holiday where the pace of life is slower than slow. The locals are very friendly although some of the don’t speak any English.

Clean, very basic accommodation. Self catering would be challenging due to the standard of the cooker and utensils provided.,
Basics such as light bulbs and sink plugs were missing and the waste bin was miniscule.
No mop or bucket provided which might not have mattered if the electricity for our accomodation block had not failed due to excess water from the air con? being allowed to drip onto the electrical supply causing a 16 hour power failure. Leading to our fridge defrosting onto the apartment floor and soaking the bottom of one of our cases.
The accomodation is situated roadside at a busy road junction and every other Greek person seems to own a motorbike and decide to pass through or stop at the place during the night. This is bearable with the door shutters and double glazed doors closed together but otherwise the noise can be annoying.
Good points; towels and sheets changed regularly, the accomodation owner and staff seem pleasant enough. The owner is fairly laid back and alows you to bring your own food and drink round his very pleasant pool area. The local Olympic reps are excellent if you are in difficulties.
The location, Panoramas is very handy for a couple of local beaches and trips to other island sites. There is also a decent choice of eating places within reasonable walking distance. Tthe adjacent bar and a restaurant opposite the apartments are well frequented by the local people and for a very good reason, they are excellent.
