Mercure Arthur Frommer Hotel

I loved staying in the Mecure Arthur Frommer. After reading all the reviews on this website I was a tad nervous, but the accomodation was great.
The only disadvantage I found in our trip was locating the hotel
For future travelers:
get to centraal station
take the 24 or 25 tram. look to get off the tram by a coffee shop called yellow mellow on your right. (its a bright yellow colour fabulous for locating at a distance.)
As you look at yellow mellow turn to your right and take the the closest road to you. The Arthur Frommer is about 250 metres on your left in a small alleyway.
This piece of information would have saved us two hours, and 20 euro for a two minute taxi ride.
We particularly enjoyed Artis Zoo, and the Van Gogh museum ( well worth getting the audio guide) Our favourite place to head for is the park outside the van gogh museum spending the evening people watching.
great location, great room would definately go there again.
