Tilsitt Etoile Hotel

hotel experiences can vary so greatly, and i found this one to be superb. this was largely due to the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. all my various questions concerning train schedules, airport shuttles, restaurants, and local points of interest were answered and dealt with easily. besides the staff, this hotel is located centrally and therefore extremely close to the sights as well as to all forms of public transportation. and perhaps the most important thing: this place is clean! stay here, you won't regret it.

The service was 5 star. The hotel clerk even reserved us tickets for a dinner cruise, and went out of his way to find answers to all our questions. The room was spacious (by french standards), and clean. The price was reasonable considering the locations. (next to the Arc). Free internet saved us a lot of time looking up attractions. Will definetely consider coming back to it and recomending it to our friends.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tilsitt-Etoile. It was a superb location - close to transport from the airport and the Metro so everywhere was in easy reach. The room was well eqipped and very clean; breakfast food was fresh and plentiful and the service was excellent. The service at the reception desk was particularly helpful and the language difficulties we had presented no problem at all for the staff. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Paris.

Great week at this perfect location for our Paris experience. Stayed at this quaint hotel 13 April thru 20 April 2007 and its location, cleanliness and friendly staff contributed to a tremondous week. Close to the Arc De Triomphe, Champs, access to Metro and Air France Shuttle, market/shoppping/restaurants on Avenue Des Ternes . We stayed in this hotel for few days and We really enjoy my stay. People at the front desk were really helpfull and we had this very nice room on the 6th floor (64). I hope I will go there again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April 2007. I have heard that Paris hotel rooms are typically not very good. I personally don't have any other points of reference, but I was not thrilled with this room. The location of the hotel is very close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Metro. Stayed in this nice little hotel from the 13th to the 21st of March 2007. Was a brilliant hotel! We stayed in room 76 which had a door direct to the Courtyard. The room was brilliantly clean and space was decent for a European hotel. The room had a nice Plasma (or was it LCD) televisions. Comfortable, welcoming hotel with 24 hour reception and friendly service throughout the hotel. Breakfasts offered a good choice to suit most tastes. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room - otherwise it was all I was looking for. Short distance to walk to Charles de Gaul Etoile Metro at Arc de Triomphe. Venues close to the hotel for eating ranging from typically French to Macdonalds. Small supermarket within 2 mins walk.

i stayed at Tilssit on my vacation in 2006 (Xmas and new years eve) and this hotel is great, very good location and incredible service. close to champs elysee, my family and i had great days with the Tilsiit team support. i used to travel a lot and strong recommend the hotel Luiz

This three star hotel a real gem in the heart of Paris! Although there was nothing fancy about it (except for the flat screen TV on the wall and rose petals in the bathroom soap dish!), the room was clean and had everything I needed, and a real value. The aspect I particularly fancied was its prime location; 2 blocks from l'Arc de Triomphe and Les Champs Elysees, in a cozy little neighbourhood filled with a variety of venues.
