Stayed at this hotel in Jan 06, weather was -10 at times, but the hotel was lovely and warm.

On arrival, you are blown away at the sight of reception its fab, and I have stayed at Marriott hotels-but this is much more classy. The rooms are beautiful and a mini bar is in the room -also TV/sat.

Breakfast was lovely and the staff are all really nice, we strolled in at 2am on one night out (looking a little tipsy) well the reception and porter greeted us with a good morning and a smile.

Hotel is short walk from old town and new town (modern shops) also what is nice is strolling past shops like dior/ on the way back each day.

The gym is large and is very welcoming, the pool was lovely. An onsite hair dressers and shops and bar/restaurants.

For you rock/metal lovers try the rock cafe next to tesco it’s through a little passage way off the street. Its fab. 50 kr for Jim Beam and coke.

Check out little passage ways in main shopping square as lots of lovely places to eat.

New Yorker (shop) for both ladies and men looking for a bargain.

I have been 3 times and will be going again.
