Right in the centre of Prague just a few steps from the Wencelas Square and close to the State Opera house there is the Hotel Esplanade Praha. I found this hotel generally hard to fault - easily worth the disputed 5* rating. The decor was excellent - particularly the bar area (overpriced but you would expect that in such a nice setting).

" A nice enough hotel - But definitely... "

A nice enough hotel - But definitely not 5 star. It's important to note when travelling to Prague, that hotels set their own star ratings - this one is definitely exaggerating a bit.
