lovely hotel from Isabella021

stayed with my husband for 3 nights in May 2008. hotel was modern which is what we were looking for. we found it very central and very easy to get around the city. rooms were lovely and clean, good sized bathroom again very modern. only complaint was that the english tv channels were not working for our stay due to a fault we were told, breakfast was lovely. would recommed this hotel to anyone

Slap-dash boutique-hotel from polydude

This small boutique/design hotel in paris is a little hidden gem, but as with most of france, the level of service is less than favorable. the rooms (when clean) are slightly cramped, but with a modern and relaxing style. the hotel is within walking-distance of the opera, and the gar nord.

Good Location, Close to Gare de Nord but not in the horrible bit from Bruski_11

Booked this Hotel through the Eurostar booking line. I got quite a good deal over Xmas with tickets on le train and the hotel included in an offer. The location is quite good. Its downhill from Gare de Nord so is easy to get to on foot with suitcases etc. The area around Gare de Nord is not very nice but this Hotel is far enough away for that not to be a problem. Perfectly reasonable hotel from UKSteve

I've just returned from a one night stay at the 9Hotel. It was spotless and clean with nothing to complain about. Yes, the rooms are on the tight side, they have a hanging rack instead of a wardrobe and it is a 20 minutes to walk to the Seine but I'd stay there again. I felt perfectly safe in and walked everywhere.

With all due respect, I do not understand all these raving reviews about the 9 Hotel in Paris. Yes, the location is in central Paris and yes, the interior and decoration is ok. But the value for money is way out of order. I paid a EUR 160,- per room per night for a room which was about 12m2 with a tiny bed and a tiny bathroom with a tiny shower. When you opened the door it almost touched the bed and kind of side table in the room and there was no place or space at all to leave your clothes except in your own suitcase. I have... more
