Libertel Arc de Triomphe Hotel

beautifully decorated modern hotel with high standard finishes. Not stark and cold like so many ' modern' renovations - rich carefully thought out design with unusual comforts. These include Ipod alarm clock, steam shower, very comfy bed and plasma TV. The location is brilliant, close to the centre and easy access to everything. Seriously funky One drawback- no room service, but who wants to eat in when in Paris?

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights at the end of September. It really is a 'little gem' in the middle of a wonderful city. The location is very good - 2 mins from the Arc de Triomphe and the nearest Metro. The rooms have been refurbished to a very high standard - all whites and creams with flat screeen TVs and IPod stations. Only limitation is that the bar/lounge area is still under refurbishment and they didn't say when it would be finished. I come to Paris regularly and recently discovered this little place. It's just behind the Arc de Triomphe and there are plenty of good restaurants and the shopping on the Champs Elysees nearby. It feels very stylish throughout from the chic lobby with large pop art and ambient music through to the recently refurbished rooms. We recently stayed in the hotel for one night and found it to be perfect. It is a great location, very central. The closest metro station is only 2 minutes walk away. The hotel itself could not be faulted at all. The entrance is chic, modern and relaxed. The hotel has recently been decorated to a high standard. The corridors are curvey and narrow, the rooms are decorated very well, although small (I say that put we did have a push chair and three cases, what room isn't small) but who needs a big room when your staying in Paris. The room was great. very modern, and obviously recently renovated, although the lobby and halls looked a bit like a 60's disco with red paint and black carpet!! We were a bit worried about how the room would look, but it was VERY tasteful and modern. Staff friendly, and speak english in varying degrees. free wifi. Bed was extremely comfortable. Having booked this hotel from the main home page I was later reading reviews only to find photographs and reviews which were less then favourable, of course I was slightly concerned but this concern was quickly laid to rest after contacting other guest who had stayed at this hotel. Stayed at this hotel in March 2007. Refurbishment being carried out during our stay but this didnt have any impact on our thoughts. Room was described as superior i think and was a lovely clean room with excellent bathroom with L'OCCITANE bathroom extras which was nice. We booked directly on the hotel's website which was cheaper than other travel websites. Special deal because hotel foyer and bar are being refurbished and are out of use. However the corridors and rooms are very stylish and modern- suede wallpaper, ipod charger, marble bathrooms. Bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was served in our room. Location is excellent with 'Argentine' metro stop a few metres away. Very close to Arc de Tromphe and we would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.

Just got back from Paris and must say, that i was DELIGHTED with my stay at hotel Argentine. All the staff were very friendly and they all speak fluent English which was so helpful cos my French isn't that good! The rooms are cool and trendy and CLEAN, it's in a great location, you can take a 2 min walk and you are on the Champs Elysées and there is direct access to the airport with Air France buses that stop just around the corner!! Good position, very close to Arc the Triumph. Full rate is definatelly TOO high (290 Euro/per night - Delux for 2), we paid 160 with internet price. Breakfast not included/ 15 Eure per person. Room very nice, clean, trendy, modern, - aldo very small, there is almost no space between writing table and a bead end. No view. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. 4 starts. There is no internet in room, which is "big no-no". anyway summing up < it was a nice stay at hotel argentine.
