Le Saint Paul Hotel

Fantastic place, the staff are friendly and spoke much better English than my French (I'm embarrassed to say). The room was clean, the mini bar well stocked and at reasonable prices. Breakfast was great with quite a range (cold foods only). The cat is an added bonus, he is quite the characture and obviously in charge! We are definately going to return. Not only the above but it also within easy walking distance of everything! We'd give it 10 / 10!!

This hotel is the very best we have ever been to. The Cat is a character and is a wonderful bonus to the already wonderful and friendly staff who provide a first class service. Also, for those of you who just can not bare the thought of speaking French ! First--be careful. There are two Hotel St. Paul's. This is the one in the St. Germain Des Pres district. There is another in the Marais--which is a very different area of Paris! This hotel cost us about $150/night for a queen bed with air conditioning. We were in Rm 1-- which is the only room with an AMAZING jet tub. We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the hotel with its very friendly staff and sputnik the cat. Our room was on the second floor overlooking the way way street noise was not a problem for us as it had double glazing. Breakfast was help yourself with croissants cereal cold meata so you could have as much as you wanted. The area round the hotel (nearest metro odeon) was laid back and relaxing. Fantastic hotel in a really good location, staff spoke excellant English and were always willing to help. Bedroom and bathroom though a little small were spotlessly clean. The breakfast buffet was really good and was more than your average croissant and coffee. Also Sputnik the lovely reception kitty gave me and my sister a few giggles. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is in a fabulous location straddling the Latin Quarter and St Germain and just a blcok away from the Luxembourg Gardens. My partner and I found it ideal for exploring the Left Bank as well as convenient for sights such as the Notre Dame, Louvre etc. which were a nice walk away along the Seine. This hotel is in a quiet street on the Rive Gauche 200 metres from Boulevard St Germain. We stayed for three nights and were never disturbed by noise which in Paris is very unusual. The room was small and did not have room for sitting in any comfort but it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. On our second night a heavy smoker occupied a room close to ours on the first floor and we asked to be moved for our final night. we stayed at the hotel in nov' 06' and had a great time, the staff, the hotel, the location, rooms, everything was perfect. the hotel staff made anything they could for us and always with a smile. we highly recommend this hotel, it will make your stay great....

We recently stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Saint Paul. The location was great, lovely room, very helpful staff. We arrived on a Sunday night and had a room at the back overlooking a school yard. Not a terrific view but who looks at the view whilst you are asleep. The room was fairly large by European city standards, it had a sloping ceiling and after a number of bumps to the head we learnt to duck. We spent a fantastic four nights at the Hotel Saint Paul. The staff were very friendly, and helpful and Sputnick the cat was always at the reception desk ready to welcome us! The room we booked was a good size, with nice decor and had everything we needed, though we would agree that being situatated at the front did get a bit noisy. The bathroom was spotless, and even though the shower may have been designed for shorter people, we manged fine.
