K&K Cayre Hotel

Rooms are small, but typical for Paris standards. Our room was clean, modern, tasteful, and the bed, though not queen sized, was ample for the two of us. I am 6 ft, 2in and have trouble fitting on full sized beds but this one was fine. It was hard to get to the closit because the TV was partially blocking it but that was the only real downside of the smallness. Bathrooms were cramped but very new, clean and modern, though they did have that funny European half-shower door that makes it a challenge in splash management to shower without flooding the bathroom. Location was great -- this area is more of a neighborhood than downtown and we are walking distance to most attractions and the metro stops right outside the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and all spoke English. They have free internet access in the lobby which was very useful to us. For a local tip, the gas station two doors down has a mini-mart that has great pastries and all kinds of food for much less than the restaurants and brasseries.

We stayed here for a long weekend in February 2004. It's a great location. Much quieter (less people) than some other parts of Paris. It's near a metro stop - so it's quick to move around - although we mainly walked or used taxis ! We chose it because it had a deal on their own website and because we knew the area already - and liked it ! The rooms are small but very comfortable. Great self service breakfast. They also had 3 PC's in the lobby with free internet access. The deal involved free tickets to a local art gallery - which was interesting for an hour. You can walk to the Louvre, Musee d' Orcy, and Rodin Museum - which we wanted to visit. We will definitely come again - although February was cold - would probably choose April/May next time.

I visited Paris with my 2 daughters in July of this yr. Any concerns I may have had about 3 women traveling in Paris at the height of the tourist season dissolved when we checked into the K&K Hotel. It was truly home to us for 8 days while we flitted around this wonderful city. The hotel was exquisite, the neighborhood impeccable, and the staff above reproach. I look forward to my next visit to Paris & the K&K.

I'm writing this review using the free broadband connection in my room. To start with, the hotel and my room are clean and decorated tastefully. The staff is American friendly, which is more than you can say for alot of Paris hotels. It's a rather neo-modern flavor, but nice nonetheless. Try to a 7th story room as the view is fabulous. Breakfast is free. Highly recommended....

Stayed at K+K for two days Sept 24-26. Had a nice double room with view of charming Parisian roofs and Eiffel tower and balconey doors. Room 604. Ask for room in the back up high. Room was good size, quiet. Bathroom is very interesting with windows/doors, but of all things has no soap dish. yes, strange to even mention it, but makes mess when you dont have one. Breakfast is not worth 20 euro. A Bakery is on street behind hotel, just slide over there and get same items with jam for Euro 4! Beds were nice. No iron or ironing board in room. For charm, cleanliness, and location, KK is hard to beat. We dined at Le Petit Zinc restaurant which is up the street off of St Germain. 7 minute walk. Had unmatched charm and offered good food (about 100 euro for two people), and recommended by hotel, which saved us from aimlessly walking the streets wasting lots of time hoping we would score a good restaurant (while getting ------ off due to low blood sugar levels).Would recommend KK! Not cheap, about Euro 240, but you only live once. Nice to have clean, quiet place to come back to after walking non-stop in the city. Fast walk to Latin Quarter. top location without being in the 'tourist trap' section of town. Front desk folks are really helpful and kind, even if there are a million silly questions from Americans coming at them permanently during the day! (haha- I am American too).

My wife and I stayed at the K+K Cayre starting September 11 for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. Our room was small but perfectly fine with an excellent bathroom and very quiet. The staff was terrific and the facilities and location of this hotel are absolutely first rate. Great Left Bank address for sightseeing. Loved the free internet access in the lobby. Highly recommend.

Was there in mid-August with my wife - great stay, large clean rooms with big closets and a huge bathrooms. Modern lobby with nice hotel staff - perfectly located in the St. Germain area and right across the street from a Metro stop. I will be staying here again on my next Paris trip.

**SUMMARY Would unreservedly recommend this hotel. Great location, accomodation and service for the price. We WILL stay here again on our return to Paris.** We stayed at the K+K Hotel Cayre from July29th until August 1st and had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a quiet location, but only 5 mins away from some of the best streets in Paris, and a Metro station so close by you have to watch you don't trip over it when you come out the entrance of the hotel! The staff were very helpful and the hotel itself is very clean and nicely decorated in a modern theme. It has a nice bar area with comfortable sofa's and free internet access in the lobby. Breakfast was nice too, with a decent selection of fruits, meats, cheeses and also hot eggs and bacon. Room sizes? Well you're not going to get lost in them that's for sure! Our room (508) was particulary small, but another couple we were with had much more space. As with the rest of the hotel, the rooms were spotless and airconditioned with cable TV. The bed was very comfortable. If you're going to be in Paris on business or pleasure, I would recommed this hotel.

Stayed at the K+K Paris between June 19 and July 2nd. Great location and great hotel; would definetly stay here again. The front desk staff was always helpful, the rooms were clean, had a nice little balcony etc. Breakfast was plenty, I would agree with the other reviewers who commented that 20 Euro's is too much for the breakfast, fortunately our package had breakfast included so we didn't have to pay for it. Internet connection in the room was fast and reliable. The surrounding area is as advertised, the Rue Du Bac metro station is just outside the front door. The shell station next door is great for cheap wine and late night snacks etc. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel.

We just returned from a fabulous vacation in Southwest France and we were fortunate to stay at the K & K for one night. The location (at the intersection of Blvd. St. Germain and Blvd. Raspail) is within a five minute walk to the Musee D'Orsay, the best cafes and shopping! The room was immaculate, typical size for Paris, the staff was polite and they offered free internet access in the lobby! I would highly recommend this hotel.
