Ideal for me!
I had a 4 night stay here on my own private R&R after a business trip to Brussels. The hotel was ideal for my needs - which were to experience daily Parisean life and not only sightseeing, a "fine" but not overpriced or overly- ostentatious accommodation in a similar type nighborhood, and convenient access to the Metro. After being assigned to a room facing the street I negotiated for one facing the small garden, and the polite English speaking staff were gracious to arrange that (Room 7, highly recommended). The cozy room was decorated... more
Great Hotel
My Boyfriend and I stayed at the Hotel Jardin De Villiers for 2 nights. It was a great hotel, nicely decorated, clean and a great location, just a 5 minutes walk to the metro station. Our room had a small flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a good size bathroom with bath and shower. All of the reception staff spoke English too which always helps! The only problem we had was with the breakfast room. Its was very small and on our last morning we had to wait for a table. Just around the corner from the hotel was a... more
Hotel Jardin De Villiers was a hit with us
My wife and I have just returned from a 5 day break in Paris and stopped at the Hotel Jardin De Villiers. It was an excellent base for seeing the sights of Paris and the hotel was a very clean and welcome sight when returning back after a long and exhausting day. The room was spotless with clean towels every day, and the sheets changed on a regular basis. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to advise on what not to miss in this beautiful city. The only negatives were that the breakfast (included in the price we paid) is quite... more
Don't trust
My boyfriend and I went to Hôtel Jardin de Villiers last spring to spend 3 nights there. We arrived very late, at about 12 in the night. When we arrived there wasn't light in any of the floors... and the most important thing all the hotel was under works... walls covered with plastic, paintings in the middle of the reception... One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because of its terrace. Well, the beautiful terrace on the website is not what you find there. They have 2 tables in a very small terrace, one of them broken. The staff... more
Management response from jardindevilliers

Thank you for your comment, actually during your stay we repainted the room corridor, we need to protect floor with plastic and we used the painting that had no smell and dried quickly. We take into account your remarks, we apologize to generate caused. best regards sebastien boyot

Built for small people
Enjoyed 4 nights in Paris in March 2006, staying at the Hotel de Villiers. The hotel is tucked away in a back street 5 mins walk from the Villiers metro station. The area is great, largely residential with few tourists and a wonderful street market just round the corner. The bedroom was tiny with rather oppresive decoration, how it cried out for white painted walls! The bathroom was even tinier but with all amenities.English channels and CNN are 8euros /day extra on the tv and of course no tea/coffe making facilities.Breakfast was adequate... more
A Taste of Parisienne Life
We stayed at this hotel for three nights and have to say that the staff and the ambience there is excellent. However, two small gripes and they are that the bedroom where we stayed was very very small. The decor was nice and tasteful but conditions were quite cramped. The en-suite was very nicely decored but,one thing I found a bit off-putting was that the grouting around the tiles surrounding the shower area were very dirty and needed to be either regrouted or scrubbed very hard to try and get them back to being anything but dirty... more
Lovely hotel in a nice residential neighborhood
Hotel was located in a quiet, safe residential area. We stayed there for 7 days in August 2003. We booked directly through the hotel website and got an excellent deal. The room was small but very clean. (We later found out that it was above-average size by European standard.) Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Excellent Budget Hotel
We stayed here in July 2005, and were very pleased. The room was not huge, but big enough with good sized bathroom. Room was very clean and well presented, with air con and mini bar etc. Staff were very friendly and particularly helpful on arrival. Breakfast is basic, but good coffee, croissants and juice. Good location, 5 mins from Metro (Villiers) and returning at night the area, although quiet around the hotel, felt safe. Supermarket just around the corner on way to Metro, with excellent bakeries and a fruit and veg market lining the... more
Great Place
This hotel was excellent. Great price, nice room, helpful staff (especially the weekend staff), wonderful location. It is a very residential neighborhood and I felt like I got to see the real Paris. The market was amazing to walk through and watch all the locals do their shopping, it felt exactly like I thought Paris would. The Metro was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that was heading to Paris on a budget.
A lovelym helpful and quiet hotel
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in 2004 Aug and then they were running a promotion of 4 for 3. Hence the room rate is around 24 pounds per person per night with breakfast. It locates in arrondissement 17, very very quiet and close to the Metro Station Villers (5 mins walk). In addition, there is an open market, supermarket, Paul bakery and laundry nearby (3 mins walk) that you can easily access to drinks, fresh seafood and fruit. The interior is as you can see from its website, although it is not big nor new. Bathroom is very clean and... more
