Etoile Park Hotel

Be very careful before you book this hotel, you should see it as a last resort. I travel often to Paris and normally stay at a small hotel around the corner - but it was full. On arrival we found the temperature in our room to be, no kidding, over 100 degrees (f). When I asked to be moved to another room, I was treated like it was my fault. Don't stay in this hotel. Rooms are very small and the staff is rude and nervous, special the manager, and are not interesting in giving any information. The rooms has just some natural light and the lampshades in the room can't light as necessary. There are many small hotel in the area, try another like Mercure Wagram or Tilsitt. I'm always travelling abroad and I can say that it was the worst hotel I ever stayed.

We stayed there in Dec. of 2007. It is not a fancy hotel, but the rooms were clean and adequate. The location is great. We walked to the Eiffel Tower our first evening there after seeing it in the distance from our hotel room. (It turned out to be a long walk, but we did walk it) Public transportation was close by and the airport bus dropped us off a block from the hotel. If we are in Paris again, we would stay at this hotel again.

Just returned from here and would say that on the whole this hotel is OK. It's in a great location close to the Arc Du Triomphe and Champs Elysee and has lots of great bars and restaurants close by. The day staff (a man and a woman) were so helful and pleasant and gave us a really warm welcome when we arrived. The breakfast was very poor and not worth paying for if it isn't already included in your deal. There is a great cafe right by the hotel called the Cafe Lateral which we ate in and it seemed to offer a good breakfast.... more

i booked this hotel for our 5 year anniversary as a surprise for my boyfriend. we were delighted with the location! it was right round the corner from the arc de triomphe and a short walk from the main street with all the shops and loads of restaurants. the hotel room was basic and not that big but comfortable enough. it had an en-suite and tv, not many english-speaking channels though. the room key was massive!! it took us until the 2nd night to understand the reception hold the key for you while you are out and about which... more

We went to the Etoile Park for my 50th Birthday celebrations we travelled by eurostar straight into the city, then got on the metro to the hotel, (all very easy). At first glimpse of the hotel it was what I had expected (3 star in the city) but on showing to our room it was at the back of the hotel, very small (which is to be expected in most city breaks) but had a funny smell! lovely hotel, room was lovely quite spacious. helpful staff... only prob we had was the breakfast as there wasnt much variety. close to most major attractions, 10min walk to the effiel tower and the arc de triumph is at the top of the road... would definatly stay again.

My standard single room was a decent size for a Paris hotel. However, the room was musty upon my arrival and needed to be aired out. The carpet was well-worn, and the mattress could have been firmer. The wallpaper was a bit dingy in places. The bathroom was a good size, although the shower stall curtain was difficult to manoeuvre and could not always prevent water from spraying onto the floor. We enjoyed a long weekend in this Hotel in March 2005. the Hotel is in a fantastic location just down the road from the Arc de Triomphe, there is no way you are going to forget where your hotel is! Our room was an average sized room by Parisian standards but the bathroom was huge and our only complaint about the room would be that the decor is all in a nicotine yellow. My rating of this hotel is TERRIBLE. Having lived inParis and visited it two or three times per year for the past thirty years, I am quite well acquainted with Parisian hotels. They do not have to be on a grand scale - which few are anyway - but should have basic requirements.
