Elysees Regencia Hotel

From all the hotels we stayed at during our honeymoon trip in Europe, the Elysee Regencia in Paris really stood out from the crowd. We were treated like royalties. The front desk staff has been so warm and helpful. They arranged to make dinner reservations at the loveliest restaurants and were so patient with all our queries. And all of this in English! The location is one of those rare things in a city, quiet, but central to everything do full marks there. The interiors were new, clean, well presented and very comfortable. now worries on that score, and the breakfast room was comfortable and a little quirky. I use tripadviser very frequently to consult travel places worldwide. I am a physician in Brazil and travel around the world in Medical Conferences and Meetings. The last one was in Vienna and Paris. My first night in Paris was very “hot” literally, because the air conditioner is broken and the temperature even at night was above 75o F. Great little hotel in the 16th next to the Champ Elysees and the alma Marceau metro spot. This is in a quiet, though wealthy neighborhood in Paris. It is perfect for those that don't want to stay right in the middle of the tourist and busier part of the city. The rooms were clean, well decorated and well air-conditioned. The staff, particularly the conceirage, were teriffic. I stay at a lot of top luxury hotels and i think i prefer the smaller, boutique spots like this. I really liked it.

The hotel is very conveniently located, and the staff is marvelous...friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We were asked by a credit card travel service to rate the property, and we recommended it highly.

My husband and I had a king room on the top floor (6th) with the view of the top of the Eiffel Tower and our guests had a twin room on the 2nd floor. Both rooms were spacious clean and well decorated. Our room only had windows which worked well for us and our guests had a small balcony which was good as one was a smoker, their room faced the busier street however they said they didn't hear any street noise. The hotel is very conveniently located, only a minute walk to the Arc de triomphe and 5 minutes walk from the champs d'elysees. It is a small hotel, but as soon as we walked into the reception area the staff were full of big smiles! Seriously, the receptionist was very nice and helpful and gave us tourist maps, and helped to book us taxis. On our last day, he even suggested that we could leave our luggage at the hotel even though we had checked out, whilst we went to get some lunch before our ride back to the airport. This was our second visit to Paris, and both times have stayed at the Regencia. The rooms are inviting and comfortable. The staff are always so courteous and helpful, and the location is absolutely perfect. We will definitely stay at the Elysees Regencia again.

The hotel is clean, smart and new. The room was average size for Paris and the fixtures and fittings were spotless and clean. Robes and slippers were included. We could see the top of the Eiffel Tower from our room, and we were on a quiet side street, so our stay was peaceful. We didn't eat there as there are lots of places to eat locally but the downstairs restaurant looked great, with smart toilets. This hotel is a chic little boutique hotel located on a busy Ave. Marceau just two blocks from the Arc and Champs Elysees. It is very convenient for walking to to the Eiffel Tower and all the shops and restaurants in the area. If you are looking for something on a charming, quiet, street, this is not it.
