D'Albe Hotel

Just back from 4 fantastic days at the fabulous D'Albe hotel St.Michel. We had a medium sized room on the fourth floor which included a large modern bathroom. The room was immaculate, small tv with English channels (Including MTV), comfortable double bed, air-conditioning, double wardrobe with full length mirrors, minibar, safety deposit box, large desk and chair, bedside lockers with lamps. The hotel is located in the Latin Quarter, near the Sorbonne and Notre Dame. I had a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor, which was larger than I expected. I had a double bed, desk, large closet, large bathroom with a tub and a chair in the corner. There was plenty of room for me to walk around and keep my luggage, although I'm on the smaller side and a couple may find it a bit too cozy if they plan to spend a lot of time there. Another exceptional hotel! The location was fabulous! Surrounded by good restaurants and shopping. Walking distance to almost every major tourist attraction. Our room was very large, spotless and had a nice balcony.

Our family of 5 stayed 8 nights at the Albe from July 12-20. We had two rooms, one twin #105 and one triple #103, both on the first floor above ground level. The biggest advantage of this hotel, as everyone has said, is its central location next to Place St-Michel in the Latin Quarter. We were able to do much of our sightseeing by just walking in one direction and then walking or taking the metro back. 10 out of 10. Perfect location, very close to subway, LOTS of restaurants, shops, cafes, nightlife and everything a person age 8 - 80 would request. Room had minibar, TV, nice bathroom, EXCELENT breakfast. Spent a week on honeymoon and enjoyed every minute. Recommend for business travelers, families, couples and anyone who is willing to discover Paris. Not a large room, but at least well decorated and very clean. GREAT VALUE!

My girlfiend and I stayed at the Albe St. Michel in late May and early June. This is a great hotel. As you can see from the other posts, the hotel is clean, friendly, etc. On this post I will try to give you an overall feel of the place. This hotel is located on a mostly pedestrian steet very much in the middle of the Latin Quarter. The street scene in the daytime has many tourist walking in the streets visiting souvenier shops and the many restaurants. Spent fantastic weekend in heart of city at D'Albe Hotel which came highly recommended by friends & family who had stayed previously. More than lived up to it's press and helped to make a birthday celebration to remember! Clean, well cared for hotel; extremely helpful staff. Ltd noise from due to double glazing and air conditioning in rooms. All rooms are clean and tidy and have good facilities. Breakfast served in small dining area - good selection of food. We spent two nights as a family of four at the Hotel D'Albe in May 2006. The location cannot be beat! It is central to so many sites, restaurants, and shopping. Our room was lovely and had a great view of the Latin Quarter. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean. I have recommended this hotel to friends and family and would definately stay here when in Paris again.

This was our third stay at the Hotel D'Albe last week and it didn't disappoint. It's still immaculate with the crispest, whitest sheets, beautiful clean bathroom with thick towels and heater, excellent very helpful desk service and a delicious breakfast served by a cheerful waitress. They now have flat screen tv's in the room and a laptop was available for a small fee. After traveling around Paris on the Metro each day, its wonderful to come up out of the Metro and there is the hotel - just feet away. The location couldn't be better... more

My husband and I have just returned from europe and really enjoyed our stay at the hotel D'albe in St Michel. We couldn't fault a thing! The room was fairly small, typical in size for Europe, we requested a room with a bath which was a godsend at the end of the day for our tired feet. Cyril at the front desk went over and beyond the call of duty to assist us when ever we had a question.
