May 2006, Mr P Vardy

What a great resort and what great accommodation! We had a fantastic holiday, the apartment was absolutely spotless, the pools were clean, the staff were friendly.
As for the resort we never had a bad meal, the food in every restaurant we tried was fantastic. There was also a good selection of bars from karaoke to live music bars there was something for everyone.
All in all it was just a superb place to stay and I definitely would recommend it to anyone!

May 2006, Mr A Willoughby

When we arrived the door to the apartment fell off its hinges so we were given another apartment, the bedside light switch of this apartment was live, so that you got an electric shock when you touched it, the complex was very basic, the place has seen better days and the apartments are currently being sold off individually (if you want to buy one, you must be mad). Yes it was clean, but that is all that can be said in its favour.
Corralejo is very nice and serves as a good hub for travel around the island and to Lanzarote via the ferry, its the liveliest of the islands resorts but isn’t too lively, it has a small but adequate drinking area for the 18-30 type, and plenty of places for the 30-50 year old drinkers, and yes you can mix the two and not feel out of place.
If your thing is eating, then you can not beat this resort for the quality and quantity of restaurants in Corralejo, but don’t just stick to the music square restaurants, try the Argentinean steak house on the back streets near Finnegan’s Irish bar, in fact pop in to Finnegan’s for a drink and ask them what its like its not expensive either.
Cheers. Enjoy your holiday where ever you stay. Alan

Apr 2006, Mr J Harris

Friendly staff, clean rooms, and great atmosphere, the Atlantic gardens complex is better than I had imagined, the bar sells a variety of food stuffs and drinks, on site supermarket makes life easier when you need milk or bread (or beer) and the reception staff are extremely helpful.
It’s a short walk to local restaurants where all varieties of food are available, the beach is also a short walk where you can wind surf for 20 euros.
If you catch the bus to the beach at the sand dunes (1 euro per person) you will find a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and interesting fish that swim around you...
The only gripe was with Thomas cook, we paid for special in flight meals for my son who has a nut allergy, on the out going flight it was fine BBQ chicken, in coming the hostess expected a bowl of fruit to act a meal for a teenager. Anyway excellent holiday, local water park is round the corner, and the best way to see the island is by trike.
Lastly there are no traffic lights on the island but also no bad tempered drivers, strange!!
10/10.

What a wonderful family holiday we have had. The apartments basic but clean excellent maid service.
The swimming pools were great for the children as well as a morning club and evening disco for them. Complex quite and restful, tennis courts and football nets were great and plenty to do.
The Building work going on we never heard them. A Nice walk into the main resort. Excellent value for money booked to go again next year. Fab

Feb 2006, Mr G Thorpe

My first time abroad and I thought these apartments where very good. Clean and well presented.
The resort is only a 10 min walk from all the entertainment you could want from good eating to nice quiet drinking places.
Nice clean but small beach 5 mins away.
Recommend these apartments to singles and families alike.
Most enjoyable and would return again.

Clean apartments. Complex clean and...

Jan 2006, Mrs L C Philp

Clean apartments. Complex clean and tidy at all times. Well equipped. We arrived a week after the extremely bad weather which had caused lots of damage to the area, but there was very little evidence apart from a few inner roof tiles still to be replaced in the reception area.
Quiet at this time on the complex but all staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned and all towels replaced 3 times over a 7 day stay.
There were 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 + 11 in our party. Both children had a great time.
2 large clean pools and a shallow area for small children. Plenty sun beds available. Would be adequate at busy periods as well.
Good restaurants and shopping in the main area which is approximately 10 mins walk.
Beach very clean and under 10 mins walk.
Over all we were very pleased with all aspects with this complex and would return in the future.

My Mum & I have just got back from a week at Atlantic Gardens & we really enjoyed it.
the pools were great and not too much going on so quite quiet. the rooms were clean and plenty of loo roll was provided!
The bar area was good although a little expensive out of happy hour! (which was actually happy 2 hours!)
I would definitely go back as it was in a nice quiet location close to the beach and a cheap taxi ride away from the main town, for those of us who cant be bothered to walk a ten minute walk!

The best holiday I've ever had , a wonderful place that i will be going back to next year for sure, The apartments are well maintained and are very clean, the staff are very friendly, and the happy hour is certainly a happy hour, lol ,and then its not to far to walk to the town centre a 10 minute walk if that, where you’ll find great pubs, clubs and many restaurants, the food is great especially the roast in the Chablis bar.
And not to forget to mention the lovely beaches that Corralejo has. I could go on and on, I would recommend this resort and Atlantic Gardens apartments to anyone as it suits all ages, A wonderful place to go !!!!!!!!!!

Great complex really. Close enough to town to walk in, but far enough away for peace and quiet. Building going on next door, but not overly intrusive....just the warning beeps each time the crane operators started up, soon got used to it.
Three pools on two levels all great. One kids pool, one deep pool and one more less even all round. Rooms good, though no a/c.....but with the windows open a nice breeze soon did the job.
Small shop on site selling basics, bar/cafe doing snacks (burgers, chips, sandwiches, hotdogs etc) On site restaurant open till 10pm.
Old Corralejo beach 5 mins walk away. Sand Dunes, Flag beach (windsurfing) and Oliva Beach 30 min walk or 5 min taxi or 5 min bus ride away. They were fantastic.
The staff there were really friendly and helpful....even put up with my Phrase Book Spanglish!!!! Any problems were put right straight away (things like neon bulbs gone on the hotel sign, loose tiles in pool etc).
We loved it, so did the kids, we’d go back next year.

Just returned from Atlantic gardens...

Sep 2005, Miss m Hunt

Just returned from Atlantic gardens in corralejo. Accommodation good standard, nice pools all clean and tidy. Suitable for families, some onsite entertainment at night mainly. Rooms were of good standard, everything worked and again clean and tidy.
There is some building work going on affecting some rooms (ours was one), however if you like to get up they are a good alarm clock at 0730 Monday - Saturday. It really didn’t bother us that much as we were out and about while they were working anyway. Town centre is good lot of nice bars to suit all tastes, beaches are fantastic. We are definitely going again, made some good friends too!

Sep 2005, Miss K Colbeck

Just arrived back from Atlantic Gardens, had a really enjoyable and relaxing week. Found the apartments very clean and pleasant, and the staff friendly.
Would recommend to families, though I'm 24 and I went with a friend and we still enjoyed it, but did find it a little quiet (don’t expect it to be like Magalluf).
The water park Bacu is only about a five minute walk away and the main strip were all the shops and bars are about a 5-10 minute walk away.

Although the Atlantic gardens...

Aug 2005, sandman45uk

Although the Atlantic gardens apartments complex and rooms were reasonably clean there was practically no onsite entertainment for adults or children. So unless you want a long walk into town and then back I would avoid it.
There was also nowhere on the complex to purchase a burger, sandwich or even a portion of chips (which most kids shout for at about 9/10pm) as the snack bar and shop close at 8pm. Some of the staff found it a chore to have to serve you even when they were open. The town itself was brilliant with a wide diversity of shops, food establishments with food from all over the world even kangaroo and ostrich, and bars which cater for every taste and all welcome kids.
Also there was no need to travel far for day cruises and trips over to Lanzarote as it is the main harbour town. So I recommend Corralejo but try a different complex if you like onsite entertainment and something to eat after 8pm.
