Nice location, tiniest room ever
from tacobar
I stayed at the Campanile in Dec 07. I got a triple room, but it was the tiniest room I have ever been in, maybe 250 sq ft. The double bed was in the main room, and was quite comfortable. The single bed was located literally in front of the bathroom, tucked in front of the window, part of the bed was also in front of a wall that slanted inward due to the Parisian architecture, so you had to be careful when you got up and not bump your head. The bathroom was not small, but the shower was ridiculous - you can not turn around in the shower...

Ooo-La-La-Loved It!
from songcity
The hotel was exactly as promised...just moments away from the Eiffel Tower. Very clean and Impressively FRIENDLY and helpful. The man at the desk spoke English like an American and French like a native. Although there was a massive metro strike, he did his best to accommdate us with alternate transportation. The staff was exceptional and the free breakfast included with my booking, included fabulous breads, cereals, yogurts, cheese, deli meats and more! Our room was actually 2 small bedrooms because I had my 7 yr old along. It was...

Outstanding...cheap and clean in a fantastic location!
from Denzil1983
I cannot recommend this hotel enough! If you are looking for a cheap hotel in Paris then look no further, although the hotel is basic the staff are very friendly, the rooms are impeccably clean and it is in an unbelievable location only 5 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower (you can see it from the street) and only a few hundred yards from Metro and RER stations, shops and some fantastic restaurants. Me and my Girlfriend stayed here for 2 nights in October and it proved to be an outstanding base for a wonderful weekend in Paris.
A very good budget hotel
from Room_101_London
As many reviews have said this hotel is perfectly comfortable with courteous and helpful staff and exceeds expectaions. My room was small but well fitted out.and both the room and bathroom were clean. There is free wi-fi in the rooms which is brilliant. Coffee and tea making facilities in the room fully restocked daily. The breakfast is fine and substantial. Its is located in a quiet road not far from a Metro station - but right now the Metro is on stike so I have been needing to walk into Central Paris (about an hour's walk along the...

Not much better than camping
from Stella
My top requirements for a room is to sleep, and unfortunately the room we were given was not conducive to that goal. We got a triple room, which was located at the tip of the building, overlooking the intersection of Saint Charles and another street. The result was all the street noise seems to funnel directly into the room. It was hot with no A/C so we had the window opened at first, and it was like sleeping in Grand Central. We closed the windows the second night, but the noise was still very bad. The sound proofing between...

Great location, take the ear plugs tho!
from kthespeechy
Booked through Eurostar website. Spent 3 nights. Staff helpful/friendly, room clean. Excellent for direct bus (42) to/from Gare du Nord, near all transport and handy supermarket to stock up on drinks/groceries (we avoided the costly drinks prices got lunch /snacks there for a fraction of the cost!) Disturbed by lift/neighbours/traffic noise, which was a shame. Recommend Museum Pass (30 E for 2 days) and separate Metro/train/bus pass for 2/3 days which you can buy at large metros/some monuments and can use for unlimited...

Bonjour Paris!
from syates
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights whilst visiting Paris for a long weekend, to include a day at the French Open. The hotel was easy to find from the metro. Our room was for 3 people, it was small but clean, a good shower and plenty of hot water.( take your own shower gel, shampoo and conditioner as not supplied) We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but bought cheese ( from a wonderful cheese shop with an amazing selection, recommend the brie de meux) just before the metro, along with fresh fruit and croissents! ( at least 3...

Does what it says on the label
from RochdaleDnJ
Just had a couple of nights here and was very pleased, the hotel's not luxurious in fact its reasonablly basic but it's clean, everything worked and the staff are very, very helpful. The hotel is located in an excellent location for a tourist visit and was very reasonably priced. We would definately go back there.
Great budget hotel - fab location
from Kabaddi
This hotel is great - its clean, really close to the Dupleix metro and you can see the Eiffel Tower from your street! It's really quiet at night which is great and theres plenty of bars/cafes/brasseries and pattiseries really nearby. The Tour Eiffel is about 5 minutes away and you can get to the River in about ten minutes. The rooms were fairly small but really clean, new looking and the bathrooms were modern - also included a great flat screen TV in the room although all the channels were French! Room service was every day and...

Hidden Gem :)
from SarahBella
As far as location goes, we couldn't ask for more! Were able to get up out of bed in the morning and walk to the Eiffel Tower for some breakfast in about 5 minutes! Hotel was in a quiet area, so sleeping at night was just fine! We stayed in room 512, which has a cute little balcony to let some fresh and cooler air in at night, because the hotel did not have air conditioning. Very close to cafe's and a subway station (Bir-Hakem and Champ du Mars) Staff were friendly and welcoming...helped you out with your French, but also knew...
