Very nice hotel
I found the Aramis hotel suited my needs very well. I stayed there with my adult daughter in twin beds. The room was very clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The room a/c worked great. The shower was hot and forceful. They had internet access from a pc in the lobby at a cost. The staff were very considerate and helpful. They knew of good places to eat and even of a chocolate shop nearby. 1/3 mile to the south is a dept store within a mall. We walked to the Notre-Dame, Ste Chapelle, and Louvre but took the train back... more
Okay to Average
I picked this hotel because I wanted something that had central A/C, an elevator, a shower and not just a bathtub, was quiet, and had friendly staff. The Hotel Aramis met all of this criteria. I went in not expecting a large room or a large bathroom (both were small, especially the shower). The room was clean but nothing spectacular. This is par for the course for Paris. If you read most of the reviews for Paris hotels, you'll realize very quickly that most have small rooms, limited space for luggage, are older, have no A/C (whoever... more
Fantastic stay at Hotel Aramis
This was the first time my husband and I visited Paris and thanks to Hotel Aramis we had a fantastic stay. The breakfasts consisted of pastries and lovely coffe (which you could have brought up to you). The location is the best for touring all Paris has to offer. There were delis and cafes nearby to grab a cheap easy dinner. I would definelty stay here again.
Good hotel, great location.
We stayed for four nights at the end of April. We paid $170 USD a night. The hotel has a small but effective elevator. The English-speaking staff was helpful, although not always correct with their information (e.g. where things were). Great location, right next to several bus stops (#95 easily the most useful running North-South through the city) as well as the metro. We stayed in a double which, by any standard, was small. There was a queen-sized bed with just enough room to lay a suitcase at the foot of the bed and walk... more
Nice boutique hotel
We stayed there for 6 nights. We were able to change a room with a view of the walls to a front room facing the street with a balcony. No extra charge. Room was a little hard to move around in sometimes for two people. Bathroom a good size. The young lady that worked during the day was very helpful. Continental breakfast with juice, coffee, an pastries was good, but not worth the 12 euros easch we paid on our first morning. We bought our breakfast elsewhere for a lot less and ate it in our room. Coffe and tea available.
All of the reviews are true.
We stayed at this hotel mainly because of the affordable price and the comments on this site. The staff was extremely helpful. William, the main front desk worker spoke English very well and gave us many insights on where to go in Paris. There are several metro stops close to the hotel and the area felt extremely safe. The rooms are small, but they are kept very well (plus it is paris, how much time do you plan on spending in the room?) It was a really good decision on our part to stay there.
Just excellent!
Great little Hotel! Close to everything. The room was a little small (althoug the bathroom was just fine), but since you don´t go to Paris to be in a Hotel, who cares, right? The service was fast and delivered always with a smile. I will definetly recomend this Hotel.

We stayed in this hotel for about a week. It is a nice place. The lady on the front desk is exceptional. The place is clean, sort of up to date and pretty good for Paris. Points to watch out for- -you must give 24 hours notice to leave early, that is NOT overnight notice, it is 24 hours notice -the web site gives you an impression you are close to the main area on St. Germain, you are not, it is a good 10 minute walk -the rate for the location is a little high for you can find *** hotels in the main part of St. Germain... more
A clean, comfortable and friendly hotel in a superb location.
This small hotel is ideally situated on the Rue de Rennes, the main road which runs from St. Germain des Pres to Montparnasse, and with three Metro stations nearby, is an ideal base from which to explore Paris. My wife and I found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and quiet with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. Don't expect the rooms to be large or to have much of a view, but if you are looking for somewhere to lay your head at night after a busy day of walking and exploring then this place is perfect. The beds are comfortable and... more

This hotel is in a great location, a few minutes' walk from Boulevard St Germain. St Placide metro station is literally across the road. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Only complaint would be that the soundproofing is not very good - we were woken up by guests arriving home late, even though they were not particularly noisy, but as I've experienced this in many hotels I would not let it put me off. One odd thing to note - there was no shower curtain or screen so you had to be really careful or the water sprayed everywhere. I... more
